All right, it looked like X-oshi was ready to show her his stuff. He nodded to her briefly and seemed to be searching for something. That raised Hawthorne's curiousity just a titch. Apparently she as about to see something very cool.

He tossed the rock he found a couple times, and Thorny was a little disappointed. That wasn't very exciting. Then he threw it away. Her eyes widened in surprise as she followed his from at a dead run, and disappears instead of falling. The rock disappeared to. She looked all over, until both the boy and the rock appear across from eachother in midair.

X-oshi performed a very impressive aerial manuever, while the rock came pelting in his direction. She clapped in excitement when he caught the rock, and was quickly set off-balance again as the boy holding the rock disappeared again.

She looked around frantically, finally looking up as he reappeared, somewhere quite a bit above her head. She smiled and clapped. He was rather impressive! She was a little frightened for him as he plummeted toward the ground. As he was about to make contact, she closed her eyes, terrified of what was about to happen.

Still, there was no thud and she peeked between the fingers of her hands, which she had raised to hide her face. The boy, sweating profusely, was walking towards her. He sat and crossed his legs, and, still looking astonished, she moved to sit beside him.

"So, that was tight huh."

"That was . . . unbelievable. I've never seen anything quite that cool before. How did you learn how to do that?"

He thanked her because it was the first time someone actually seemed impressed at what he could. It actually made him feel ten feet tall. However on top of that she was the first to actually see what he could do. That was probably the pinnacle of great power he had. Even though he had others. But he also more tricks.

"Well for some reason there used to be a real dark evil type thing going on up here, he tapped his skull, but with tha help of Jun, we was able to control it. Even to tha point of me using it for extra powers. Well, it gave me more power than I thought. It made me smarter, by that happening, it made me be able to rip holes in the time and space continuum. First I had to learn about all that crap then I finally was able to do it. I ended up waking up in somebodies else's room. Yep, that was just mostly my own momentum and just using portals to redirect me."

He stood up as he had calmed himself.

"I can do some real clean shit, but for now thats enough. So yeah don't tell anybody. Im sure you won't and all but still. The less students know then... yea."

She wasn't used to being thanked for expressing herself. She felt that his abilities were really something special, and she had said so, that was all. She grinned at him. Perhaps he wasn't used to it, but how could he not? It was just so . . . cool.

Her eyes boggled at all his explanation. Something evil in his head? Jun had helped with that? Well, that didn't surprise her much. Jun-Bo helped everyone all the time. He was like that. She was impressed that X-oshi had managed to overcome something like that though.

"Wow. Regardless of whether or not you had help, you must be a very strong person to be able to defeat the enemy that lies within your own mind. I admire that."

She stood up and bowed to him, to show respect for his monumental actions. She had seen some of the older members of the reservation do such things when in the prescence of the tribal elders, and she felt that this boy deserved it just as much as they did. He had mastered not only great skills, but control over himself as well.

"I could understand not wanting word of your ability to spread too far. Too many young hotbloods would want to prove themselves great by calling you out. I'm sure you could take them, but who wants to mash an endless line of newbies, right?"
