We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

"If we leave, there just going to round us up again for questioning. Other students must have seen us enter so it dosn't matter right now. WE need to find whomever gave off that scream. Now...who's going down there first?"

Now, at the sound of those dreaded words, anyone who had lived long on Ansalon would have made every attempt to flee for his life. Go up to any seasoned warrior and ask him, "Pardon me, sir, but which would you rather be locked up in a room with--an army of ogres, a regiment of trolls, a brigade of draconians, a red dragon...or a bored kender?"
The warrior will pick the ogres, trolls, draconians, and the red dragon hands down, every time. He will tell you, as will everyone you meet, that nothing on Krynn is more dangerous than a bored kender.

From seemingly out of nowhere, Shiro approached the students. He didn't recognize any of them, due to his leave of absence. Shiro was not one to be afraid of much, being surrounded by blood and strange occurrances on a regular basis.

"Wait!" Alex yelled, finally waking up at the stirring of his great idea. "Kagomi and I should go! Kagomi can phase shift and if worse comes to worse I can use my spirit control. Also, I believe I'm the only one who can read what the message says around here."
Alex nodded to confirm his own idea. It was maybe their best bet. He wasn't too sure of some of these people's powers, but he had a good idea. He then noticed Rayd and got another idea. At least, it was an addition to his first idea.
"I think Rayd should come with me too. As much as I know a lot of us have the prowess to go down there and kick some ass, Rayd can teleport back. That means if we do get overwhelmed, we only really lose me, and hell, do we really need me?" Alex said with a smirk as he hopped off the seat he was on.
Kagomi was still studying the message, but she nodded in complience. So that was it. Alex's plan had been explained. He thought it was the best they could do with the information he had. Maybe it wasn't, but it sure as hell made the most sense. He smiled with pride as he got up and walked to the blood on the ground. He wanted to know for himself what exactly it said.

Amber was initially worried when Alex volenteered himself and Kagomi. Her pendulum had stopped dead over the bloodied message, not a swing it made. The light was gray, and while she had no idea what that meant but she had the bad feeling about this.
Another had stepped forward, the quiet Shiro. She had seen him only once before, but she felt better to warn him.

“No you shut the @#%$ up!” Yakoutio bellowed as he darted in front of Shiro, jumping into the air and spinning around in one fluid motion kicking him around the head with the back off his new rock boot, he didn’t care if the guy was older, bigger and more likely stronger than him he was angry now and this overpowered all his other senses. He stood with his fists by his sides blocking the hole and stopping him from getting there.
“The guy has a plan and you should have the decency to at least listen to him!” He yelled, “Just for that you don’t get to go in the hole, you get to wait here for Rayd to return even if I have to stay here and make sure you do it”. Yakoutio was shaking slightly but he forced himself quickly as he didn’t show that he was afraid, he just wanted to stick up for himself.

Shiro tilted his head to the side to avoid the kick and created a heavy weight around Yakouito's wrists and ankles to keep himin place as he simply walked around him.
"I'm going because his plan won't work. I've got the right abilities to take care of myself, and this mess. You just stay right there while I clean this up. And I'm 100% sure Rayd will back me up on this."

ooc: just to say, Yakoutio is using his ‘blinding speed’ technique so he ‘can’ make a few more actions and contacting hits than normal, just didn’t want to seem like a modder.
Yakoutio suddenly darted forwards appearing almost as a blur as he stopped behind Shiro instantly before powering up two energy spheres in both hands and firing the shards into his back ripping his clothes to shreds before shifting around his body in the blur and jumping upwards, he then kicked Shiro across the head before kicking upwards strait between the mans legs.
“But I don’t know that do I!” He bellowed, “You wont ignore me and you wont be going anywhere otherwise you’ll have to go through me!”

Amber pleaded. She knew how riled up Yakoutio could get and the last thing she wanted was too much chaos for an already strange situation.
"We don't need this right now...you know that. Please..."
The winged girl's voice was calm, as usual. She looked at the bloodied message, and stepped away from it. The blood, it was riling that feeling again and the pendulum was still glowing a pulsating gray light. She clasped the pendulum in her hands tight.
"If someone could read this, then maybe it'll help. It doesn't matter who does it, just as long as we figure out what's going on..."
Alex was exceptionally mad now. The animosity growing inside him was difficult to quell, but he managed. Alex then quickly walked over to Yakoutio and Shiro, his anger rising even more. The last thing they needed was two idiots duking it out.
"You two, stop it, NOW!" Alex said in a harsh tone. "This could be bigger than any of us. We need to work together, and I was just taking a step forward by trying to assume some sort of leadership. If you have somethign against it, fine! Just don't go off alone when nobody knows what the hell is down that hole!"
Kagomi then came back from a quick trip to Alex's room, carrying his shirt, pants and his staff. Putting the pants on, he then walked over to the writting, pulling his shirt over his head. He then kneeled down to try and figure out what exactly it said.

Yakoutio growled before powering down the two energy spheres in his hands and walking away from Shiro towards Amber before stopping next to her, he always felt compelled to do whatever she wanted him to do because she always seemed to know what was the best thing to do for him.
“He didn’t listen to what Alex had to say,” Yakoutio said weakly as if he was a lost lonely child, “He should have listened…”

X-oshi pointing towards Alex (whom he has never met).
"For all you know What ever did this could be a whole lot stronger than any of us here."
X-oshi eye twitched as he looked through his perriphials to the right, into the bleachers it seemed like the red filmy stuff kept moving.
"Now, I don't mind going down there myself. However I know I'll need someone with me. And you know the police probbaly would come but I don't think that gonna happen."
X-oshi walks over towards the spherical object once more to examine it again.

Vahs had stayed deathly silent through this whole ordeal. Arguments had flared and quite frankly, he was fed up. The bickering was getting them no where quickly. He had watched Yakoutio have a physical squabble with Shiro, but decided not to interfear. The boy needed to grow up by himself sometimes too, despite Vash's need to warn him about every step he took along the same path he had already treded. He then walked over to Amber and Yakoutio, finidng safety with his tight-knit friendship with the two.
"As much as I hate to admit it, we do need to work together. X-Oshi and the queer kid have a point. We have no clue what exactly is down there. If we plan on surviving our encounter, we will have to have a job each our own. Who leads us is still a toss up, but I am sure someone will win that head butting contest soon enough. For now, I shall keep watch for any law enforcments that come our way, as that seems to be the best use of my time."
With that, Vash lept into the stands, onto the rafters and to the top fo the stadium. He then quickly slipped outside and squated down, survaying the surrounding area. All was quiet, which suited him just fine. He just wanted to know what exactly was going on inside the stadium, but the students were infighting. That wasn't good if they planned on facing whatever caused that strange message.

As X-oshi examined the sphere. He pulled his MP3 player from his backpocket and whipped his headphones on and blasted music into his ears. Maybe to drown ou the rest of the world. Or something. However X-oshi needed his daily dose of tunes.
X-oshi looked up. And saw the Guy with the hat jump and sit atop the arena.
"Probably on the look out."
Walnut's, Peanuts, Pineapple smells

X-oshi sung to himself as the crowd of students filled the Arena.
After looking at the sphere X-oshi walks back towards the crowd of students.
"OK who is going down and who is staying here. I think those who stay here is just as important as those who go down. For some reason I think this stuff..."
X-oshi bends down towards the ground and places his finger on the ground...

"It does feel like it." Merciah admits to X-oshi as he has been walking around quietly trying to see if there is anything else to the seen that might have been missed, due to everyones excitement about the Japanese writing.
Walking up behind Alex to see what it might say, Merciah realizes that he doesn't understand the meaning of what is written. Knowing how to read Kanji, though not being able to read japanese hiragana, or katakana, makes it so that he now looks to Alex.
"Can you understand what it says?" Merciah asks his friend.
(OOC: Any further inquiries about the SL should go to Cavix Yans. I only new the translation for the Japanese script because I was the one who did the English -> Japanese Translation. That was the end of my inivolvement on control for the story.)

Rayd laughed as he watched his friend Shiro and the other guy have a disagreement. After in finished, Rayd began walking towards the hole, not saying a word. He lifted his sunglasses and kneeled down beside the hole. His white eyes turned grey once more and his vision took him into the hole. Unfortunately, his vision was unclear, and Rayd straight away new that whatever was down there had to be a great darkness, a pitch black that even Rayd's power couldn't penetrate.
"Well... While you ladies decide what your gonna do. I'm gonna scout out whatevers down here. And dont give me the 'You dont Know Whats Down There' crap... I have enough of an idea."
While Rayd didn't know exactly what was down there, the presence he felt gave him a slight idea. And he could get out quickly anyway if he needed to. Rayd eyes turned back to white and he jumped into the hole before anybody had the chance to stop him. Once inside his White eyes became brighter in the darkness and he began his journey forward...

X-oshi swings around to see his first friend of the school show up. Moving in as silent and unnoticed kinda wierded X-oshi out and made him think of his own falls at his awarness.
X-oshi spoke under his breath, "It's been a long time Merciah, how are you. How was the fight against that guy. I saw that fight (or some of it).
Oh well."
X-oshi walks towards the writing and examines it once more, looking intently at it X-oshi speaks,
"Can anyone please tell me what this says., I can't read it for nothing."

From wings below we come.
A demon manifests.
And the spirit wails.
Alex looked at the writting, his eyes widening as he finally figured it out. The blood had made it difficult, as the characters leaked out a little and any small change could alter it into being a new letter. Though what he got made enough sense to be the original message. As Alex watched Rayd jump down, he felt frustrated in the fact that everyone was trying to be some hero. If he knew anything about anything, it was that there was a time to be a hero and a time to work together. Hero time would be for later and even Alex's overblown ego knew that.
"Awww @#%$...Why the hell did he have to go and do that?" Alex said, standing up and backing everyone away from the hole as best he could.
He then faced the crowd to address them, being the only one who knew what was going on. This made him, in his mind, the best leader for the job. The writting had also said something about a wailing spirit and demons, so that was in his favour as well. He slowly took a deep breath and began his analysis.
"Well, from what I've read, I've determined whatever is down there is big, nasty, and could probably rip us apart. The scriptures said something about a demon coming for us. I'm not exactly sure what kind of demon, but I'm sure there's at least one. Obviously, this guy didn't come to give us candy and cake. So, Rayd is already down there trying to be the gung ho savior, and we need to get ourselves a plan, which I luckily have!"
"So...from what I know I've devised two groups. One is going to go down and try and figure out what the hell is up with the hole and hopefully come back with some answers. The other group is going to have to play the waiting game and wait for us. The only reason I don't want everyone going down that hole is incase, well, we screw up. I'm sure everyone here is willing to put it all on the line to help the school, but I think it best to keep some sort of defense up here in case we don't make it back. It's grim, but it's the truth sometimes."
"Since Rayd is already down there, he's on the exploration party as planned. The kid" he mentions as he points to Yakoutio, "Kagomi and I will go and back him up. The reason I picked the little guy over the rest of you is because I know he can haul ass from what he attempted on Shiro. I don't feel like facing some horrific monster on his terms, which is why I'm picking people that can get out without taking much damage. The reason I'm going then? As much as I love adventures, even I don't want to go down there and I'm only going because Kagomi and I are a team. Each of us is only half as good as one of you alone. So, if anybody has a complaint, tough. We don't have time to argue because god knows what is eating Rayd alive right now."
"The second team will consist of the rest of you: X-Oshi, the ninja, the guy with a serious attitude, Amber, the guy on watch and Merciah, who I hope will accept the responcability of taking some form of leadership. I thought he would be best seeing as he's been here the longest, everyone knows him and is probably on the best of terms with him. Don't like it, tough. Those who know stuff need to be doing stuff. The rest of you may know something about whatever is going on down there, but that's all the better seeing as if we fail and don't return then we'll need some experts top side as well."
Alex then leaned towards Merciah, keeping his voice low.
"Take care of them buddy. Try keep the peace up here while we're gone and keep them away from the hole. I don't plan on being long."
With that, Alex gave Merciah a soft punch to the arm as he looked into the pool of blood. It disgusted him to think he would have to jump in that. He shivered slightly before turning to Kagomi.
"You ready?" he said to her, still speaking in a low tone.
"As long as you are, I know we can pull through." Kagomi said, smiling back at him.
With the somewhat comforting words of Kagomi, Alex extended his hand and concentrated on his spirit companion. He could feel the connection of thier energy begin to link. As the connection completed itself in mere seconds, Kagomi's body quickly turned into strands of energy and shot into Alex's hand.
"SPIRIT CONTROL!!!"
As the two merged once again, Alex could feel the familiar strength flow through his body. It made him feel more confident to know Kagomi was with him all the way. His body was windswept by the energy he was putting out and he looked much more focused than before. Then, before anyone could admire his new found strength, Alex jumped into the portal, drawing his staff in case of any danger around them.

"Please be careful down there!" Amber called out after Alex and Kagomi. Yakoutio was chosen to go along too and she gave him an encouraging smile. She would stay as instructed, glad to see that there was a plan in place now. She bowed her head, praying for protection to the ones who ventured into danger.
Saint Michael, pray for them and give them strength should they meet battle.
She ws about to join Vash, but was not sure exactly where he had went. Instead Amber took care in kneeling, fixing her ruffled black dress and tucking her legs beneath herself. She inspected her pendulum, the mysterious gray light still pulsating.
