Re: A walk thru the grass (Maaz)
Maaz focused on sending her psychic arms out to find the rocks, all the while keeping her body tense in case she had to move. She found the first two on her left were closest to hitting her and sidestepped those before moving her real right arm out of the way of another three.

Mentally, Maaz counted all of the rocks she successfully dodged, hoping to dodge all of them. She was only able to dodge nine and had the crush the other three rocks with her psychic arms. She knew that wasn't what she was supposed to do but she didn't want to get hit in the head again.

"I did better this time, right?" Maaz asked proudly, smiling.

Re: A walk thru the grass (Maaz)
*He relaxed as she was able to block the first few. With a smile he watched as she moved her arms around to block. He watched a few of them turn to powered and knew what happened. He smiled and squeased her shoulder and nodded to her.*

"That was very good. That is more or less what I use the rocks for. Some times I will throw up as many rocks as I can possible hold. I have thrown up more then 200 hunderd rocks before. I am trying to come up with a machine of some sort that can throw the rocks up constantly for me. It would make this type of training much harder and much more fun."

*He smiled and looked around the clearing with a smile. He remembered the way he spent hours working out here. The way the tree felt beneath his feet. The way the rocks flew and came down with a quick pop.*

"So how what do you think of this type if training? If you do it often enough, you get to the point where it because easier and easier. That way you just raise the number of rocks and you get better and better. You could get good enough to block any attack."

Maaz beamed at Jun's approval, finding that she was glad that he was happy with her improvement. When questioned about her opinion of the training, Maaz paused a second before replying:

"Maaz liked it. Maaz is sure Maaz could get better with more and more practice. And, you say you want rocks to come at you constantly, right? Well, Maaz is sure Maaz could help out with that. This one has the ability to do it."

Maaz was too happy and resorted to referring to herself in third person. When she realized she was doing it, she blushed but continued.

"M--I could help out with my other arms..."

*He smiled and listened to her. This was the second time he had heard her talk in third person. He grinned as she went on and on. Then her face lite up when she caught her self talking like that.*

"I am sure you will get better with practice. And yes I would love to have rock come at me constantly in large amounts. It would allow me to train at a much greater rate then I am use to training alone."

*He reached over and ruffled her hair as she seemed very embrassed by the fact she was talking in third person. He thought it was kind of cute. He wondered if she was not use to having people tell her she was doing a good job.*

"It would be nice to have you helping me train. It would go more quickly. So what are you wanting to do now? continue to train?"

Re: A walk thru the grass (Maaz)
Maaz smiled as Jun ruffled her hair. No one ever touched her as much as he did. It made her feel special. She moved closer to him when he pulled his hand away, almost involuntarily.

"If you would like to train still, I wouldn't mind doing it. But, what else do you do over here? I remember you said something about running. What else is there?" Maaz asked.

Maaz liked being with Jun so far. He didn't seem to mind that she was blind and often took that into fact when he spoke to her. Maaz had a feeling he treated her no different than the others who were 'normal'. Maaz wished for more people to be like him.

Re: A walk thru the grass (Maaz)
*He smiled as she moved closer when he pulled his hand away. It was most interesting. She seemed to really like he touching her. It did not bother him, it was a nice change. He smiled and he looked to the trees. He used the trees often enough for training.*

"Well I use the trees for several things. Once I use them for is to train running up things to get distance in the air. I also trained to jump from one tree to another to gain distance up, just as if I was jumping from side of building to side of building working my way to the top.

I also use them to get use to Jumping from branch to branch so that way if I do get in combat in the forest I can fight on all levels. Also I like to be able to use all levels of a place to my advantage.

The other thing I do is swing from branch to branch catching my self to strength both my arms and my reflexes. It is interesting seeing the world pass by as I swing around."

*He looked around as he thought about the different things he did here to train. There was that big rock over there that he used to harden his knuckles and get use to running into things.*

"There is a boulder over there I use to strength my knuckles, elbows, knees and shins on to be able to hit harder with no pain from it. I also use it as a blockade running into it to get use to running into things."

*He smiled and thought about the area around he. Some times he used sticks to train fighting againest armed oppienants, but that was only when some one else was there.*

"There are others things I do here as well. What are you thoughts of all this?"

"You are very creative with your use of the surrounding area, Jun. I'm sure not many people have thought of this type of training. Or, at least I haven't." Maaz said, nodding slightly. She paused, thinking of what he said that quirked her interest.

"I'd like to try swinging from branch to branch. It sounds....interesting. And, I'm quite sure, if you were being chased, you could lose your pursuer by taking to the trees in such a fashion. Again, you are very creative, Jun. Is most of what you do very difficult?"

*He smiled as she looked to her. He was not sure if she was asking him if what he did as a Shih was diffcult of training wise. He pondered that for a moment letting him go over what he had told her about him self thus far and if she could have figured out what he was from that or not. He smirked figuring it was an innoceant question and decided to answer it as such.*

"I try to come up with training that strains the body in ways that are not normaly used in every day life. That way, my whole body, i mean every single muscles is at its top performance in case it is every needed.

As far as is it diffcult. I is only as hard as you make it. You can do it the easy way or the hard way. I try to always do the hard way so I can push my body past its limits and keep raising the barrier that tries to limit what I can do."

*He smiled and moved a short distance from her, then turned and looked back to her. He tilted his head and smiled. She had said she would like to try the tree swinging. He figured she could do it, speicaly with her pyshic arms.*

"So do you want to try the trees now, or is it in the fucture you wish to try them?"

*His moved his two hands together and streched his wrisit lightly. He was not one to take training lightly. Even if it was another's training.*

Maaz listened closely, knowing what Jun said to be true. She knew she wanted to stay with Jun. He would be a great teacher and an even better friend.

"Yes, I want to try the trees now. Will you help me?"

*He nodded and smiled as she asked if he would help. He looked to the trees and took her hand leading her over there. He smiled and looked to her. He was not sure how she wanted to train on the trees. He figured she would want to try the swinging.*

"Want to try the swinging? There are two ways I can help you train this way. Well no there are three. I can watch you from beneath and explain where the branches are and how best to do it.

I could go up with you and swing along the branches with you, attached if you want, and make sure you feel safe from there.

Lastely I could follow beneath you ready to catch you if you fall. So that way you can not get hurt.

What are your thoughts and what are you wanting to do?"

*He smiled as he still held her hand. He listened to the wind whip thru the forest. The trees and leaves made almost a type of music that he liked to listen to*

Re: A walk thru the grass (Maaz)
"Stand beneath me just in case I fall. I want to try this on my own first. To test my limits." Maaz said, removing her hand from his when they stopped and letting her psychic arms come out. The divided and searched in front of her, searching the area for a tree.

She found one and moved forward, touching it with her real hands to fine some way up.

"How do you usually do this? How far are you from the ground? CLose enough not to get hurt if you fall, right? But not too close. And it's better to over jump the first time than under jump..." Maaz stated, more that asked. She found good leverage and began to climb, using her two psychic arms to help her up.

She easily reached a branch that supported her light weight. She swung a little, testing it out against her hands and her movements. It was sturdy enough. Sending out her arms, Maaz searched the area around her, finding she had more than enough room to go. She didn't though, finding she was a bit frightened.

"How far am I from the next branch? I can't find a good one with Them." maaz asked, referring to her psychic arms.

Re: A walk thru the grass (Maaz)
*He smiled and watched her climb. His listened like he always did when some one spoke to him. He was curious how she was going to pull this off with out being able to see. Then again it was not the worse thing he had ever seen some one do. He remembered one perticular were wolf from his past that had no arms period and yet he was still one of the greatest fighters he had ever known. His bite was the worse he ever felt or had seen. Those teeth were one of the very few this that had ever left a mark on his bodies.

His mind used bodies, because he had, had more bodies then most body snatchers. He smiled as she got to the first branch. He force his mind back to the task at hand.*

"I normally use my weaker hand to hold the limb while I swing out with my strong arm holding it out aiming for the branch. Though over shooting can be more dangerous then undershooting. Because if you over shoot by too much you can bash into the branch and send your self spinning off the branch wildly.I normal go as high as I can find branchs that support me."

*He looked up and could see the look of frieght on her. Then again, her chi was wild as she was trying to get her body ready for the worse. It was normal for a human to do this. He was one of the few that controlled his chi well enough to keep it normal in the worse situtation.*

"There is one that will support you easily about six feet in front of you. It is about two and a half inches thick. Also I am down here. If you miss and start to fall, just relax and trust in me that I will not allow you to get hurt. If you freak out and swing you arms around you may bash a tree or something like that on the way down. You could even knock my own arms away when I go to catch you."

*He waited for her to ask more and make her jump*

Re: A walk thru the grass (Maaz)
Taking heed of Jun's advice, Maaz readied herself. She took two deep breaths and sent her arms out as far as they would go, searching for a branch. She couldn't find the one Jun spoke of but that didn't bother her. If he said it was there, then it should be there. What reason would he have to lie to her?

"Okay." Maaz said, reeling herself back and then launching off carefully. Because her arms were out and Jun told her about the branch not too far off, Maaz was able to grab ahold of it with her psychic arms. She used it to help pull herself to the next branch. She knew she went to slow through the air and Jun would probably know she cheated. But then again, what else could she do?

Maaz pulled herself up ontop of the branch Jun had pointed out and stopped, not sure what else to do.

"I think this would be too hard with the weakness of my eyes and Them. I don't have the ability to know where the branches are. I thought it'd be easier but its not. I'm at a disadvantage. I sure as hell couldn't have someone tell me where the branches were everytime I wanted to swing from trees. Here I come." Maaz said, jumping off. She used her psychic arms to make sure she didn't hit any branches on her descent. When she reached the bottom, she sent her arms out to search for Jun, taking steps in the direction she had just come from.

*He smiled and watched her leap out. His eyes were able to pick up the fact that she cheated very quickly. He smiled and nodded. She then started to talk about how it would be too much of a disadvantage. He shrugged and watched her jumped down. He moved close enough so he could catch her if she needed it.

But she landed alright so he just smiled and looked to her. He wondered about what he could do to make that more easy for her, or some how make it work for her. Every weakness had its advantage, you just had to find it and there was always a way around every weakness.*

"Lets see. I think that you just need to learn to react faster to the things going on. Maybe you could learn to leap out and search as you fly thru the air. Hmm. I will have to think of this one and come up with a way to make it work. I refuse to be beaten by any probelm.

So what about learning to run up the tree to get more distance in the air. It can add a good 5 to 10 feet to how high you can get in the air."

*He held his left hand out a little so that way, if she got close enough she would be able to find him. Besides it was always good to help another.*

"Well, that's the thing, They don't go out as far as I would like them to. Only about....five feet all around me. I'm sure I could learn to search while I'm jumping, that would be easier for me..." Maaz said, going to Jun. She took his hand and held it for a moment before letting go.

"I'm going to try again until I get it right. Do you promise to catch me if I fall?"

*He smiled as she got the nerve to try the act again. He smiled and held her hand back for the momet tell she took it back. He was falling for this lass and sure to hell hoped she would fall for him. He smiled as she asked if he promised he would catch her. He nodded and leaned forward kissing her forehead quickly.*

"You havemy word, that I will catch you and you will be unharmed."

*He grinned and watched her to see if she was going to head and head to the tree or if she would ask something else. He smiled as he thought about it.*

"I am sure you will do fine."

Re: A walk thru the grass (Maaz)
With a bit more confidence, Maaz nodded and returned to the tree. She climbed it again and sent out her arms to look for the proper branch. Maaz knew she could always go for the branch from before. If she did her jump a little better this time instead of holding back, it would work.

"Okay....here I go." Maaz announced. She took a deep breath to calm her nerves, counted to three, and jumped. Her jump was stronger than before and carried her farther. She held her real arms out for balance and sent her psychic arms out to search for the right branch. Maaz found it and latched on, swinging to a rough stop.

The jump was no where near perfect but at least she held herself up. Maaz knew this is what she would have to work on if she wanted to get better. Jumping and catching a branch was only half the work. She'd have to keep moving to be able ot move through the trees. And that would mean being able to reach farther and move quicker.

Maaz searched below her to see how far down the ground was. It wasn't bad so she let herself go and landed on her feet with a soft thud.

"I think I'll do it again."

*He watched as she climbed up the tree. He smiled lightly wondering if he would have to catch her. He was not worried, she was not that heavy. He smiled and watched her get ready for the leap. He moved under her and waited for her to jump. He moved right with her as she jumped. She then caught the branch and just caught it. When she let go and started to fall, he placed his hands out and caught her side lightly as she touched the ground. He was making sure she did not hit hard and keep her balance. He smiled warmly as she landed. Then she said she would do it again.*

"You did a very good job. Some more practice and you will have it done pat. And I will be here if you need me."

*He smiled as he held her sides for a bit longer, he was just waiting a moment longer for her to get her self in order. That and he enjoyed the feel of her. He sighed lightly as he let her go so she could climb again.*

We live so that way the energy of life can continue to use us to as carriers in the world. Each and ever person effects the flow of life energy in the world. If one person was removed, the flow would be altered and everyone in the world is effected even if only on the most basic level. Life is very nice that way. But there are some people out there who have bad chi or life flow and effect everyone in a bad way. They are the ones that need to be removed. When the balance between good and bad chi is upset nature changes. If it shifts to the good side, nature will grew and become stronger. The world becomes more pure and more close to natural. If it shifts to bad, the nature around us starts to die. It can cause the nature around us to rear up and attack us with storms and earthquakes.

Re: A walk thru the grass (Maaz)
Maaz smiled at Jun's compliment and moved to the tree again. Her confidence was a bit higher this time but she was still fearful of failure. Maaz decided to just practice getting to the branch with her arms and then finding another to keep moving onto.

With about the same amount of power as before, Maaz jumped from the branch she stood on and reached out for the branch in front of her. She caught it with two of her psychic arms but with the other two she searched for another branch to grab ahold of. There was one not far from the one she caught so, using the momentum from her jump, Maaz propelled herself forward and used her other two arms to grab onto the branch.

Fearful of hitting a tree, Maaz held her real hands out in front of her and braced for impact but she hit nothing. After coming to another rough stop, Maaz used two of her psychic arms to search in front of her and sure enough, not four feet from where she hung was the thick bark of a tree.

"I almost hit a tree. There are a lot of factors I have to take into account when I do this kind of training." Maaz said as she lowered herself to the ground some before letting go.

*He smiled lightly as she decided to continue on. He moved along beneath her, smiling. He watched her carefully. He noticed the tree she was heading towards and figured she would stopped when she noticed it. When he saw her hands in front of her he smiled and moved closer to catch her if she lost her grip or hit hte tree. She then stopped and comment about the tree and amount of things she had to think about in this training. He chuckled and gently set his hands on each side of her, helping her to land safely. He was glad she was enjoying her self.*

"Aye there are alot of things to look out for and take into consideration when doing it. But to be honest I often do not use my eyes as much as my other sense when I do this. I tend to move fast enough that my eyes can not give me relibale data to work off of."

*He let go of her and just left his right hand on her lower back as he talked. He was glad she was willing to try his training even though her weakness. To him, her weakness may be her strong point as well. It has trained her to be use to living with only the other senses.*
