Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
The Vampire now seemed angry, maybe it was because Yakoutio had just kicked him in the shin or maybe it was because he had taken away his drink but he now seemed very angry with Yakoutio. Yakoutio however had no tolerance for Vampires, from what he had learnt of them before they were more like humans that a demon, which was overall good as demons scared Yakoutio, he however was not a demon and so Yakoutio had better treat him thus.

“I want to know where Grimlock is?” Yakoutio replied as harshly as before, “Now are you going to be kind enough to tell me or do you want to start something out of this?”

Yakoutio kept a strait face though inside he really wished he would seem though enough to persuade the vampire to tell him what he wanted.

"Onee-chan!" Ria dashed up to the two, tackle-hugging Amber so that she nearly stumbled. Amber regained her balance, looking down at her friend.

"Everything okay?" Amber asked, wondering. Was her mother all right? Did Yakoutio destroy anything?

The girl replied with a nod and she looked between Vash and Amber. A small grin crossed her face. She said something to Amber in Japanese, the words "rabu-rabu" included. A blush rose across Amber's cheeks.

"No, no it's not like that at all, Ria..." Amber said, bowing her head. Ria giggled and glanced at Vash. It was probably the first time she could actually study him. Glance up, glance down and she pointed to him.

"D-san. You're D-san."

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Vash looked down at the little girl with a confused expression. D-san? Rabu-rabu? What were the two going on about? It confused him a great deal. He then decided to fight fire with fire.

"ß ìîãó óáåäèòü âàñ, ÿ íå èìåþ íèêàêîé clue âû ãîâîðèòå î" he replied with a smug satisfaction visible on his face.

He then turned to Amber. Maybe she could tell him what was going on. It would certainly help the situation. Maybe he would be able to pick up a few words of, Japanese, was it? He wasn't too sure, but it was some sort of oriental language.

"óáå ìîãó êàêîðè" he started, but then realised he wasn't speaking in english. "Excuse me. What I ment to say was: what exactly were you two talking about?"

* * *

The vampire looked down at Yakoutio with a look of disgust on his face. How dare such a foolish little kid speak to him like that. Did the child honestly think he was above the Buckshot!? Of course he didn't, but he needed to be put into his place all the same. The vampire grinned, showing his fangs as he looked down at Yakoutio.

"Why don't you just go run along and play with your little friends." the vampire said like acid was dripping all over his words. "Leave the grown-ups to their own business."

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Amber and Ria gave Vash an incredulous stare. Amber had to admit to herself whatever he had said sounded both beautiful and alien to her ears. She snapped out of her daze and smiled softly.

"That was nice...I just didn't understand it." She glanced down at Ria and said something gentle to her in less-than-perfect Japanese. Ria nodded and smirked up at Vash.

"I said that you look like a character from a manga I liked, so I called you D-san." Ria said, apparent that she had some English taught to her. "And I say that you and onee-chan looked like lov-"

By then, Amber had covered Ria's mouth with her hand.
"No, not that Ria. Not that one..." She said in a calm voice. Amber only apeared to be calm however, the blush rose to her cheeks again.

Vash looked at the two even stranger than before. They seemed to be keeping something from him. What was it though? So many thought raced through his mind. He couldn't decided what to ask first. Should he pry into it? He looked poised to aska question, but then thought better of it. The dunpeal then simply straightened his jacket a little and slid his hat down a little further.

Why was he so afraid to ask? What was the worst she could say? She obviously knew and obviously thought he didn't, so what was the big problem? His mind just wouldn't let him, couldn't out of embarassment. She was already blushing like mad and he didn't want to embarass her further infront of her little sister. Then again, he needed to know for sure! He quickly set himself up again for the question and then slowly made himself ask:

"Amber...You would...tell me what this 'manga' thing is?"

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Amber took a breath of relief, a question she could answer without feeling self-concious! Ria slipped from Amber's gesture of silence, patted her sister on the shoulder and wandered off a little from them. The girl hummed a song to herself, letting the two talk again for a minute before plotting her next hug-attack.

"Manga is a Japanese comic book; interesting stories, and varying characters and such. They're all over Japan, some have been translated here in the states and maybe in a few other countries."

She glanced over at Ria, making sure she didn't wander out of her sight and then contued to speak.

"The one she was refering to was one that she really liked. I forget the title exactly but it's about a vampire hunter I think, very dark and stylish in its own way. You remind her of the main character, that's why she called you D."

"But he reminds me of him," Ria spoke up, "I like his hat."

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Vash was speechless. He didn't exactly know how to respond to Ria's comment. He had been modeled after a comic book character? Perposterous! What silly rubish that was! He was his own style, his own breed of hunter. Nothing like this 'D' character. He hadn't even seen him and already he had decided it to be that way. No one copied him, and he surely didn't copy someone else! That was just an insult to his family name. The compliment about the hat was nice, though.

"Indeed. I do enjoy the hat as well." he said, adjusting it again to it's regular height on his head.

The dunpeal quickly looked back up at amber after answering Ria. So manga was like a comic book. But then why did they call it manga? Wouldn't it just be a comic book? He scratched the side of his head for a moment in confusion. Why were Americans so foolish about this sort of thing? Why not just it a comic book made in Japan? Why a whole new name for it? The question seemed almost unanswerable with his fragments of knowledge, so he decided to ask the expect on hand.

"So why do they continue to call it manga if it is a comic book?" he asked, genuinely curious for some reason he couldn't fathom himself.

"Manga is the Japanese word for comic book. The word got popular in the states, as well as other parts of the world and became as such 'manga'. It really is just comic books, and they read right-to-left."

Amber smiled at the observation. Manga covered many stories, so she would not be surprised if she stumbled across one with angels and demons. Manga was just broad like that, and quite interesting.

"I have a few back in the dorm. I'll show you sometime."

"Rabu-rabu," Ria teased. Amber's cheeks flushed red again and she shot a look at her sister. Ria made a small 'eep' and meandered around the two, whistling a tune.

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
“DON’T YOU SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT!!” Yakoutio bellowed as a green aura sped upwards creating a deafening sound of electricity charging up and wind howling though from an invisible source, he had really done it now, he had treated Yakoutio’s age as a disadvantage and this was something which infuriated him deeply, Yakoutio’s eyes turned to white as the energy grew inside of him.

It made so much sense now, his power was controlled by emotion, deep fear or anger controlled it, like the fear he had felt when Vash threatened him, or the anger he felt against X-oshi, and the amount of emotion he felt decided the strength of the shockwave, so that meant…

“Fine then if you want to start something” Yakoutio said calmly as he tried to clear his mind of the fury he had inside of him, slowly the aura faded into nothingness. Yakoutio held his trench coat open slightly at both sides revealing the sheer number of weapons he had inside it before letting go.

“Tell me if you know where Grimlock is” Yakoutio said, “Don’t make me ask again”.

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Buckshot simply looked down at the child and snickered. Did he really think he could beat him? He had everything on his side in this fight. Faster, stronger, more experienced, theis vampire could flaten Yakoutio. Though, for once, he didn't. He was a kid, plain and simple. He had no clue what he was talking about. So, Buckshot simply picked up another drink and went about his business, shouldering his shotgun once more.

* * *

Vash simply looked even more confused. Ria kept repeating those two words to the two of them. He scratched his ehad, his hat tolting to one side to reveal some of his face. His visible eye had it's eyebrow raised in an obvious confusion. At least his questions about manag had been answered. He thought it made some sense, though why use the same word? Wouldn't they just call it japanese comics? He then shruged the thought away, finding the topic quite fruitless.

"I may take you up on that." he said. "I suppose my interest's attention has somewhat been focused upon this now."

“Ignore me” Yakoutio snarled, “How… dare…!”

Yakoutio powered up a tiny energy sphere on the tip of his finger and smiled, disappearing he appeared in front of the vampire before flicking the energy sphere downwards into the bottle where it floated down through the alcohol while Yakoutio dropped to his feet.

Suddenly the bottle exploded soaking Buckshot, especially round his crotch area.

“You, you, you” Yakoutio stammered in rage, “You suck you… stupid”.

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Ciana and a Medusa had spent the past half an our or so, both wallowing in drunken despair concerning their lost loves. The woman was sobering up though, comforting the medusa. It was only until Yakoutio caused a scene that caught their attention; he was looking for someone and the person he asked gave no answer.
Ciana sighed to herself, the friends her daughter had chosen to be with were not what she had hoped.

Now now, the boy has an atitude problem...and the other is quite direct and dangerous...but she's happy.

She downed a shot of tequila, watching the young boy. If she had do, she would have to stop him for his sake, at least. The woman glanced around, seeing no sight of the small white wings or Ria's hyperactive form running around and chatterig with everyone.

Come to think of it...where did they run off to?

[Meanwhile!]

Amber supposed she would have to tell him what "rabu" was sometime, she figured he would eventually ask and she definetly would have to be truthful. But before she could say anything else, Ria dashed over and attaches herself to Amber's arm. This time, the winged girl barely moved. Day by day, she was able to arm herself against her sister's sudden attacks.

"I saw Yakoutio before I left to find you, who was he looking for anyways?"

With no chance for either to answer, she continued, directing her attention to Vash.

"Ne, ne D-san, where's your house? Is it big and dark castle with secret passages behind the bookcases and a small man with a hunchback with the name Igor saying 'yes master'? Because you really look like you would live in a cool castle with lighting in the background and maybe on top of a mountain overlooking the town! Or maybe a really big house with a creepy looking Frankestein's monster for a butler, maybe a lab where you can create really creepy things like black carrots and kamquats! Yeah! And a graveyard in the backyard with fog rolling thrugh it all the time! Maybe even a giant plant monster for a pet that eats humans and sometimes ham. That would be so cool!"

Amber blinked, not being able to get a word in edgewise between Ria's ramblings. His name's not D, she was going to say but Amber let it slide.

"Ria, calm down..." She spoke finally. Even just hearing Ria talk sometimes exhausted her.

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Buckshot looked furious at the little kid. He had disobayed his request to leave him alone and now he thought he could be a little brat about it? As the boy attemped to move, the vampire quickly brought out his hand and caught Yakoutio at the end point of his little jump. He then tossed his beverage away as the ball landed inside of it. It exploded in mid-air, attracting the attention of near by guests. The boy had now caused a scene and most definately with the wrong person.

"You little ass fucking son of a bitch! I'll rip you in half and trail your insides all over Transylvania before burning you and your fucking family at the cross, you pint sized demon child!"

He then tossed Yakoutio up and grabbed the back of his head. His claws sunk into his skull and latched on tightly. Then, without warning, the vampire slammed the boy's face into the table, mashing up the liquor bottles as he went. One...two...three...four times into the table, shards of glass everywhere now. Yakoutio's face would undoubtably be cut up now from the destroyed bottles. After his four mighty slams, Backshot threw the child into the table, cracking it down the middle and breaking it. Truely the work of an enraged madman.

Vash had been watching the scene, but was hesitant to get into it. He wanted to save Yakoutio, he truely did, but the dark void that was now in Backshot's eyes seemed to paralyse him to the spot. The room had an uneasy tension to it, the other guests having bestilled by the same worry that consumed the dunpeal. Backshot was one to be feared by all and the small demonstration he had presented was enough to show it. Rumours among the hunters had built up this fear, picking at their minds as to when the time bomb that was Backshot's mind would go off! Yakoutio had finally set it off once more, unleashing something dark within the hunter, dark enough to be consumed with rage and assault all who opposed him. There was a killer instinct that radiated from him and it spoke louder than anything anyone could explain. He was a force to be reckoned with as the most powerful of the hunters here tonight showed with their overabundence of restraint. The vampire then towered over the small child and began to speak once more.

"I'll crush you beneath my foot you worthless scum. You're not fit to walk along with the gods among men. You aren't even fit to walk aomng the mortals that praise their saviours who shield them from the horsemen come to take their bounty. I hope you learn that quickly or the next thing you'll see is the barrel of my gun planted into your eye socket with your brains being forcefully blown out the other side of your head!"

Re: Tradition...(continued...again)
Yakoutio rubbed his head against the table feeling the blood drenched wood with his face, he hadn’t meant to loose his temper with Buckshot and he assumed that even though he was a vampire that being an adult he was safe, but how could he trust an adult again, he had tried to believe that most adults were good but this proof meant that he was right all along, adults were horrible monsters, he was back to square one on his theory.

“You didn’t have to go and do that” Yakoutio whimpered his voice slowly turning into a sob, “You… cut… my face… again you bastard”.

Yakoutio eased himself up off of the table and stared at the vampire, his face was bloody but mostly red as he was crying, his huge watery eyes glistened in the light as he stared at him.

Suddenly he bawled out loud, louder than he had ever cried as a blue aura charged up around him, he knew the vampire was Buckshot but to him all he saw was his father, all he saw all around him in every adult in the room was his father, it terrified him almost as much as that day when his father had killed his family.

Suddenly a red aura enveloped around the green aura creating a deafening sound of roaring wings especially from inside the little room but still Yakoutio continued to cry, he had tried as much as he could to act tough and grown up but he had still been put down in his place, he hated Buckshot for this, he was terrified but still he wanted to kill him more than anything.

Suddenly a green aura flared up around Yakoutio as Yakoutio continued to cry, small lightning bolts flashed from inside the flaring aura as it became unstable.

“I won’t lower myself to you!” Yakoutio bellowed at the top of his lungs as he leapt into the air disappearing from sight.

A split second later Yakoutio appeared above the building souring upwards into the sky as he had just jumped upwards off of the roof.

The resulting explosion sounded like a sonic boom and sent a colourful wave of energy and wind that blew down onto the building blowing dust high into the air around him.

Yakoutio fell to the ground as the explosion echoed into the distance, there he began to cry once more.
