Re: Sophomore English 1st Period
Ciara winces slightly at the thought of winding up with a death on your hands that you weren't prepared for. There were a few times, back in Scotland, when she hadn't learned to control her hunger toward human flesh quite well enough and, as such, had ended up ripping some poor sod's heart out just to satisfy her craving for fresh meat. Returning to her senses just after the kill was complete, a dead body lying in her lap, had not been something that the human side of Ciara had coped well with. Over the years, she'd learned to temper that side of herself, as well as to numb herself the the shock of murder. Similar incidents had happened over the course of her teenage life, but they didn't upset her anymore.

Death still fresh in her mind, Ciara doesn't take long to notice the slip of paper near her desk. She doesn't remember dropping anything, but it's entirely possible that she did. Shrugging, she reaches down and picks up the wayward paper. Unfolding it, her eyes scan over the lines to see what it could be. All she sees is a name, Hisoka Kurosaki, and two dates, a birth date and a death date. She folds the paper back up, confused. Ciara begins to reach over to Hisoka to return the paper and ask him about it, but notices that the three of them are beginning to draw a crowd. She carefully slips is between the back cover and last sheet of her notebook, planning to return it to Hisoka after class or once the commotion dies down.

Once done with that, Ciara returns to listening to Dimitri's borderline rant. He has many good points, though she can see that his words are upsetting Hisoka. She's unsure of how to deal with the other students that have decided to join the conversation. It's not exactly like the topic was supposed to branch out as much as it has. Now that it has, however, there's really nothing that can be done. With a nonchalant shrug, she grins amiably up at Kaji and X-oshi. "Cheers, gents." When X-oshi asks his question, however, Ciara's hopes for a calm discussion drop to almost nothing. There seems to be some unwholesome emotion between Dimitri and X-oshi that could turn this conversation into a full blown battle. Och, I hope that doesna happen. 'Twould be bad f'r us all...

Re: Sophomore English 1st Period
Hisoka listened to what was being said. They no nothing about me. He thought to himself. Nothing at all, not even that I am dead. He added in thought as he remembered the last three horrible years of his life that was spent suffering to a slow death.

When Hisoka had enough he gritted his teeth, part of his mind was screaming to say just get up and run and if it wasn't for the fact that he was in class he probably would have. "You know, you no nothing about me." Hisoka said to Dimitri even though he did not turn to look at any of them.

"By the way you are talking you make it sound like I should be this cold blooded murderer." Hisoka said. He then gave a cocky smirk. "Do you really think that little of me?" Hisoka asked. "If you are that worried about if those guys are a live or not then why don't you get yourself up, walk out of class, and go see if they are or not? Then if they are still alive you can kill them." Hisoka said. "Which I think that a big boy like yourself could do it. Or am I wrong?" Hisoka asked and he looked at Dimitri. He was glad that others were there to in a way defend him.

"Sounds agnostic, paving your own way in principles and values. That's quite admirable."

And then her attention would be turned onto newer faces, newer students that she had yet to keep her eye on. Whatever they were talking about immediately was uninteresting to her and she rested her head on the desk. Maybe it would've been more...what was the word? Ah, polite! It would've been more polite to know the agnostic guy's name.

It's gonna be a long day.

Re: Sophomore English 1st Period
Kobita struggled somewhat moving through the ventalation system. How he was having trouble fitting through anything was unknown to him. He hadn't gotten that much bigger during his absence in terms of width. He was still scrawny. The school needed better ventaltion systems so he could sneak into class more often.

Kobita had recently gotten a transfer to this class...why he didn't entirely know yet. He assumed that based on his age and that they had no former schooling records, they just stuck him were his age should be.

So now that all his hard work in memorizing the way to his 9th grade classes was wasted, he was reduced to attempting to sneak through the ventalation and drop down into class undetected. Cliche and stupid, but its all he had. If this was a sign of things to come...he needed to avoid all the lates he could.

Kobita found the vent he was looking for and slowly began tapping on it. Slightly shaking in it a way barely noticeable and enough that he could loosen the screws. The vent popped out and was quickly caught and brought back up through. Kobita set it down infront of him in the air vent and slowly, and with grace, dropped down from the air vent to the ground.

The way he imagined it happened would be he'd land gracefully on his feet, quickly sit down and he'd hear the teacher shockingly say "How did he get there!?" His vision didn't coincide much with reality. Kobita slightly misjudged his fall, half his foot hitting the side of the desk, causeing him to fall backward into another one, bashing his head with a loud crashing noise.

Kobita sat on the ground dazed for a few moments before he quickly got up and sat in his desk, tapping his pencil on the table and whistling aimlessly.

As the late students come in, in there perspective order, Miss Ada enters there name on the roll as the class begins to start up and get loud.

"Enough!" She says loudly to the class. "Everyone take a seat. The next student I hear talk, will have the enjoyment of standing next to my desk looking at the wall for the rest of class. Is that understood?"

"To all the students that were late, I don't care the reason. You will all meat me after school is out today here. Except you Miss MacChruim. I can understand your reason."

"Now, first and foremost. Tomorrow, You all are to wear your school uniforms. If you don't have one yet, then leave your name and room number, I will insure you have one available before school is out today."

"In this class you will learn to expand on what you already know, and the things you do not know about the English language. I expect everyone to have there own pens, and paper. Notebook computers will not be permitted aswell as fighting in class. Does anyone have any questions about this?"

X-oshi quickly heads toward his seat. As he heard the teacher speaking.

"Glad I wasn't late, and on my first day... maaan!"
He said to himself as he was sitting down.

In his mind his was fighting the issue of school uniforms, but his body language was not agreeing with him. He did'nt quite agree with the concept of being the same, thats why he is the way he is.

Different.

Hisoka had actually forgotten the teacher was here and had almost fell out of his seat but he caught himself. He looked over at Kobita then looked over to X-oshi. Hisoka then looked at the teacher and actually got the nerve to speak up. "But what if we forget to wear them or just choose not to?" Hisoka asked in a small cocky tone but that was habbit for him.

"I mean some of us probably have a crazy job and we might forget that one little thing." He added. "Or not that I would do this but what if some of us just choose to not wear them?" He asked. Hisoka really wasn't trying to be a smart mouth. He just wanted to know what the unishment would be for something like that. "Oh and can we wear accesseries like bracelets or watches? YOu know just so we feel like we are not losing ourselves by having to wear the same thing." He added.

At the sound of the teacher getiing upset, Isamu grabbed Yoko's hand and they quickly ran over near Gabriella, one of the few people they knew in class. Yoko sat there quietly listening, but Isamu always had to question authority.

"Or not that I would do this but what if some of us just choose to not wear them?"

"Yeah, What would happen to me if I "forgot" my uniform?"

Isamu's tone was cocky and Yoko punched him for that. Isamu simply smiled about it, why would he get into trouble for asking a question, it was class after all. Yoko continued to glare at Isamu out of the corner of her eye.

'Honestly Isa, you're trying to get into trouble the first day of class!'

'What makes you think that?'

'Damn it, just stop! I don't want to have to stay in class any longer than I have to!'

'Fiiiiine'

Kaji sighed, sluggishly walking back to his desk, feet on the chair in front of him once more. "bout time class started, was about to either fall back asleep or go into a bickering contest with pretty boy over there." Unfortunatly Kaji was wide awake now, his eyes focused and fully aware of his surroundings, including the rather amusing stunt by the kid from the vents.

Hisoka smiled as he was glad that so many people got involved. "Hey Kaji?" Hisoka said. "I bet you would rather be in your room playing your guitar then being here huh?" He asked as he smirked.

Smirking back at Hisoka, "It not just the guitar, its what i hide along with it." It sucked that weapons werent allowed in class, even though most students had powers far beyond any normal weapon or person could do.

Ciara lets out a quick, relieved sigh, glad that the little confrontation hadn't progressed beyond words. It would be an almost irremovable black mark on her record to get in a fight her first day at a new school.

As soon as the teacher lists what they need, she jots down the appropriate items. To amuse herself, she scrawls the items in Scottish Gaelic, smirking at her efforts. Gaelic, even though it's almost a dead language, sounds like music to her ears and looks almost as good once written. If anyone happens to glance at her writing, it looks something like "Eile paipeir agus peann."

Once finished writing, she figures now would be as good a time as any to return Hisoka's dropped paper. "Hisoka?" she whispers quietly. "I think ye dropped this." She hands him the folded paper, smiling faintly. Confusion is easily seen on her face and, no doubt, she will ask Hisoka about what's written on the paper. Later, though. Now is not the time.

"It not just the guitar, its what i hide along with it."

"I know," Hisoka said to Kaji. "Let me know if you need someone to practice with. I am a pretty good guitar player myself." Hisoka added as he gave a wink.

"Hisoka?" she whispers quietly. "I think ye dropped this."

Hisoka blushed and felt his pockets. "Crap." He said in a whisper as he took the paper from Ciara and smacked his head with his other hand. Hisoka put the paper back in his pocket and acted like he was looking in his backpack for paper and a pencil.

"So you know then?" He asked in a whisper as he still pretended to look for paper and a pencil which he only had a pencil. Good thing today seems like it is just going to be a day that would review over what we will be covering this years. HE thought to himself.

"I can explain everything later." He added in a whisper still as he only took out his pencil and sat his back pack back on the floor. "Wanna go shopping with me later for suppilies?" He asked Ciara.

(OCC: I think I need adding to the list.)

Reikia blushed violently as she entered the classroom, not that anyone could tell since her face was already crimson from running. She couldn't believe she was late on her first day, and wished secretly she could disappear. Unsure what to do, she mumbled a quick apology to the teacher and sat at the nearest seat available, which happened to be on the second row. Nervously she gave a timid smile as she flexed her hands on the desk in front of her, waiting for the class to start, if it hadn’t already.

Ciara watched him hit himself and wondered if she wasn't supposed to find out. Well, whether or not she was supposed to, she knows now.

"So you know then?" She nods sheepishly. "I'm verra sorry. I didna know it was yers until I read it," she whispers back. "I thought 'twas somethin' I dropped." Ciara's one of the few people that she's ever met that actually has little to no interest in other people's secrets. Of course, she'll listen to what they have to say if they tell her, but she doesn't go around snooping through their personal things or asking them a never-ending torrent of questions to figure out what makes them tick. That this happened with Hisoka was purely a mistake and, for that alone, she's truly sorry.

"Wanna go shopping with me later for suppilies?" She smiles, taking the offer as a sign that she's forgiven for her error. "Aye, I'd like that," she whispers back, giving him a quick grin. With that out of the way, she turns to a clean page in her notebook and tears it out. She hands the page to Hisoka, as is seems that he doens't have any paper of his own, then turns back to her page.

Re: Sophomore English 1st Period
Suddenly the door burst open most likely for the more than first time in the day as another student darted inside, slamming it afterwards and leaning back against it so to hold it down. He was breathing heavily and his hair was sopping wet, long strands were over his face which he had to move out the way by wiping his forehead with the back of his hand. His eyes were closed but he was smiling through the short gasps of breath until finally he stepped forwards dizzily and laughed loudly.

“I lost them,” He cheered happily before opening his eyes and looking around, “And I’m at my lesson all right two birds with one stone”.

Yakoutio reached into his satchel pack and fumbled around inside of it for a bit before pulling out a piece of paper and slamming it on the desk before smiling wildly and stumbling dizzily backwards, almost tripping over a desk at the front however still remaining to keep his balance. Stopping and skipping onto his feet slowly before walking forwards again and laughing, pointing towards the paper.

“I would love that to mean something but, but it…” He giggled as he picked the paper up again and pocketed it, “What?”

Suddenly Yakoutio stopped stumbling on his feet and twisted around on his tip toes for a full three sixty degrees to look back at the teacher, though this time when he looked at the teacher his facial expression was completely different. His look of confusion replaced with a sort of amused look, though a more serious one than before, Yakoutio hands were on his hips as he slowly raised his hands upwards, it looked like he was actually feeling himself for a second.

I think I know what’s up with lil cute Pip is” Yakoutio said slowly, “But to tell would make me a tale tale, and we wouldn’t like that would we?

Suddenly Yakoutio stepped into another pose before disappearing and reappearing in a seat towards the desk, with his feet up on the desk however after a sudden giggle he swung his feet underneath the desk and put his satchel on top in place of them.

Be this not a lesson of literature? I shall excuse my sudden interruption and explain my reasons at a later time but for now we must commence forth the basis in which we...” He said loudly before laughing once more, though suddenly he stopped and tilted his head backwards and shook it from side to side incredibly quickly, when he looked up his facial expression had changed to confusion at his current state.

"If its at all possible lets just get this damn class over with" Sighing almost at the same time he sunk down in his chair, feet still kicked up on the one in front of him.

Re: Sophomore English 1st Period
Looking to all the students as they get back to there seats Miss Ada is pleased with the speed they did as she instructed, and then. They get smart....

As a few of the students ask of the consequences about 'forgeting' to wear there uniform for some reason, she looks directly at the two who first spoke of the ideas. "How about I make this simple, it would be wiser to show up late for class then to forget your uniform. I don't want any excuses for you not wearing the proper attire. Aswell, before you go ahead and get any ideas, you had better not be late either. As all of you who are late today are going to have an extra long school day as it is. when you come back and see me afterwards.

"If you wish to wear watches and other like accesories, yes you may." She adds before turning to a noisey student. "Takeda. You talk to much aswell. Both you and Motomota will see me directly after school aswell. I hope that is understood."

Turning and walking back to here desk she takes a stack of papers from her desk and looks again to the students. "Kurosaki." She says, volunteering someone. "Thankyou for talking so much, you made it so much easier for me to decide who's going to help me by passing out these papers. So do please come up here."

After handing the papers to Hisoka Miss Ada goes on to explain what they are for. "On this paper, you will find the things that are expected of you while in class. I'll read directly from one myself so as there is no confusion.

"Welcome to Sophomore English. In this class you will be expected to expand your current knowledge on how you grasp the English Language.

"You will be expected to have atleast two pens, and a binder containing no less then fifty sheets of unused, college rulled writing paper for class.

"Uniforms are required everyday in class, except for special occasions. Accessories and modifications to your uniform is permitted if kept within reason.

"No weapons, and or powers are to be brought to, displayed in, or used in class. There is a zero tolerance rule for this. That means Mr. Nabokov and Mr. Takeda, I will be seeing you immediately after class.

"Tardiness and absentees will be expected a five hundred word essay explaining there reason for such occurance. Regardless of whether it is excused or not. (Not in real life people. So don't worry.)

"Food and drink is permitted as long as it doesn't disrupt the class. Homework will be given each day, including the first day, which is expected turned in completed teh next school day. Class work will make up 40% of your grade, Homework will consist of 50% and classroom participation will make up the other 10% of your grade.

"Aswell, this is a learning environment, if I hear foul language, it will be delt with on the spot.

"Is there any questions as to the classroom rules?"

Yakoutio quickly put his hand and waved it around in the air before putting it slowly down and thinking to himself, he seemed really confused about his current situation and took a while to think to himself before throwing his hand up into the air again. He was almost standing on his seat in the wild attempt to be seen above the groups of other people around him, his height compared the rest of the students around him making him very hard to see. Suddenly he disappeared and reappeared next to the teacher’s desk again, hopping up and down on the spot with his hand in the air.
“Miss Ada Miss Ada what about my power it’s not like I can just turn it off all of a sudden” He said before suddenly darting to the other side of her desk in an instant, “I can’t stop being fast it’s just a part of my body now I can sit down but what if I want to write at my top speed can I do that I mean I’d be using it for educational purposes”.

Suddenly Yakoutio stopped to take a deep breath before looking up and smiling again before he sort of moved in a sudden blur of movement appearing in his seat with his hands crossed and a look of satisfaction on his face.
If you moved as fast as you talked I’m assure you that you would travel forth in time” Yakoutio said to himself suddenly, “Bite me Pytho”.

Re: Sophomore English 1st Period
One would think that some one as hyper, loud and proper as Kyla was, who was striving to become a police officer like her father, would know to get up in the morning and get to her very first day of class. One would also think that if her roommate was in her class, her roommate would wake her up before she went to class herself. It seemed that Kyla had no such luck and she was more than just late, she was late and sleepy. First period was always the longer and most tiring class, unless you slept through it, which Kyla really wanted to do, but she was a future enforcer of the law, she couldn't be so selfish.

And so, after dressing in Capri’s and a bright pink and white T-shirt with the words “Guns A Blazing!” on it, she was running to her class, asking directions, but never actually slowing down to hear the answer. It was the reason why she was super late instead of regular late. But she had made it and as she stood at the door, she sighed a bit. "Let's do this Kyla!" She said to herself, ready to meet more people. Taking a large and very unnecessary step into the classroom, Kyla came in, one hand on her hip and the other in the air. "Kyla Casey reporting for duty! I'm geared up, mostly awake and ready to go." She started off with a yell as she suddenly pulled her gun from its holster at her waist and aimed it for no reason.

"Sorry 'bout being late, but even future officers make mistakes and all." She continued in her loud voice as one of the paper slid to her feet. She picked it up, skimming it quietly as a sweatdrop ran down the side of her face. Kyla quickly hid the gun behind her back with a large smile. "I'll go sit down now." With that, she scurried off to a random open seat, putting her gun back in its holster and sitting as if nothing had happened.
