We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

It felt kinda like setting up a date on one level, and a lot like an olive branch offered on the other. Perhaps this party, and their going to play DDR would help mend the breaks in their friendship, and, hopefully, branch it out farther.
"Excuse me, I need to get the door."
"Hello, I am glad you could make it here. Please come in. There are chips, soda, and cookies on the counter."
Pax also paused to watch Jun-Bo move to answer the door. It was an interesting break to their rather exhuberant activities. Then Ryoko moved closer, that devilish look in her red eyes again.
" Pax, I've got an idea!"
" Jun-Bo has to answer the door, let's steal something from the fridge!"
He chuckled, nodding furtively and beginning to slink up towards the counter. That girl, Hawthorne, was still standing there, but she prolly wouldn't kill their fun, he hoped. He beckoned Ryoko to follow him as he crawled across the floor.
Curiousity had overcome Thorny, and, despite her better judgement, she had followed Jun out of the kitchen to peer curiously at the new comers. The girl she had never met before, but from the sound of her voice, she was as uncomfortable socially as Haw herself.
"Th-thank you..f-for...i-inviting m-me..."
"So wonderful of you to invite the both of us Jun, chips and munchies were over this way you said?"
The second voice though, was familiar. She knew she had encountered the flashily dressed fellow before. She just couldn't put a finger on it . . .
"Let's get you something to eat, then when you're scared to talk to someone here, just put food in your mouth. Then, they'll think you're just being polite and not talking with your mouth full. That should give you a moment to figure out what you want to say."
As Darrien and Saori enter the kitchen, they would encounter a rather interesting sight. Hawthorne was clinging to the kitchen wall, peering around the corner as they approached, and Pax was on all fours on the kitchen floor, with the refridgerator partly open and Jun-Bo's cider jug in his hand. As the newcomers breezed in he froze, the jug halfway to being passed to his accomplice, Ryoko.

Ryoko followed Pax as they crawled into the kitchen. She stayed back while he opened the fridge. He pulled out a cider jug, and Ryoko knew that Jun liked his Cider. It would be funny for him to try and get some when there wasn't any there. When Pax froze with the jug in his hands, Ryoko looked to the people who just entered the kitchen. She waved to them. " Hello..." She said.
Ryoko reached over the grabbed the jug. She jumped up out of her crawling position. " Run Pax run!" She called to him, before running back to the couch they were previously playing at. She jumped over and ducked down, being careful not to spill any of Jun's precious cider while she made her trip back to safety.

*He started to move back towards the kitchen, when he heard the noise and then some one yell run. He leaned around the corner in time to watch the two of them run bye him carrying something and jump back to the couch. Ok he was puzzled now, maybe they were playing another game. He shrugged with a smirk.*

*He stopped with his mixed drink in his hand. He lifted it and took a sip as he waited for them to explain what was going on. Though he did not seem mad at all, in fact he seemed like he was waited for for them to cause a joke or something else like that. He had an amused acusing look.*

We live so that way the energy of life can continue to use us to as carriers in the world. Each and ever person effects the flow of life energy in the world. If one person was removed, the flow would be altered and everyone in the world is effected even if only on the most basic level. Life is very nice that way. But there are some people out there who have bad chi or life flow and effect everyone in a bad way. They are the ones that need to be removed. When the balance between good and bad chi is upset nature changes. If it shifts to the good side, nature will grew and become stronger. The world becomes more pure and more close to natural. If it shifts to bad, the nature around us starts to die. It can cause the nature around us to rear up and attack us with storms and earthquakes.

The blush already apparent on the poor girl's face turned an even deeper red as she felt his fingers touch hers, and she squirmed a bit nervously as she watched him shake her hand. It was quite obvious she wasn't used to physical contact, and it actually made her a little frightened; it wasn't that she really minded, and she didn't do a single thing to make him stop....she was just scared. But, after a moment, she lifted her big, wide eyes up, to give him a look full of child-like innocence. She nodded slightly, agreeing, as her blush deepened.
She was already quite embarrassed at the situation...
As Jun invited them in, she was going to thank him....but she didn't have the chance. Before she knew it, she felt Darrien tugging at her hand, and she had no choice but to follow obediently and submissively; though she did let out a squeak of surprise.
"Let's get you something to eat, then when you're scared to talk to someone here, just put food in your mouth. Then, they'll think you're just being polite and not talking with your mouth full. That should give you a moment to figure out what you want to say."
She nodded a bit up to Darrien as they walked to the kitchen. Still not knowing him too well, she had no idea what to say; but she did let out a small, cute giggle in response to his words.
They rounded the corner, to find a kitchen full of people. Saori was a little surprised; she'd expected to maybe end up running into people one at a time, if that....but all at once? For a moment, she stood there, her eyes as big as saucers as she looked at the people in the room; it seemed everyone had frozen. Then, as Ryoko shouted, "Run Pax, run!" Saori squealed loudly and jumped behind Darrien again.
She wasn't thinking about the awkwardness that would follow between her and the boy; she was simply afraid of all of the strangers in the room. That's why she didn't think about her hands clinging to Darrien's arms, or her cheek pressed hard against his back, as she tried to hide herself from everyone's view.

It felt as if he'd adopted a puppy almost. Saori was so small and shy, but when you got her to open up a bit, she was an adoreable little companion. It would take a little work, but he was rather confident that they'd become casual enough for jokes and pranks in short time, providing the both of them with a much needed closeness to another.
Palling around with her felt different than most other girls. He didn't feel his innate need to impress, it was more like a little sister type thing, without the fighting and hair pulling.
When they arrived in the kitchen, their solitude lasted a mere few seconds until a pair of hooligans darted in to snag something from the host's fridge. Darrien's reaction was non-existant, he just watched as they made such a show out of it, then giggled somewhat as they appeared to barely escape being caught.
When the little wind mage began using him for cover, a strange feeling flooded through him. His face flushed a little, being caught off guard hapened to him so seldomly he wasn't sure how he was supposed to react to it.
A moment was all it took to regain the suave composure he carried with him, and he stood like a pillar until the coast was clear. Then, when he was certain the dynamic duo of cider snatchers was at a safe distance, he spun around and crouched down to face the girl.
"That was unusual now wasn't it? I'd like to say things like that rarely happen, but I wouldn't be telling the truth then would I?"
He reached a hand out and softly pinched her cheeks together, making a fishy face just below the frightened green eyes.
"Take a couple deep breaths, then we'll make our move to the living room area. Once we get settled in and properly introduced to everyone things ought to calm down some."

Ryoko grabbed the jug after greeting the newcomers and then took off. He sat down stunned, looking around in complete confusion. What was happening, they were caught?
" Run Pax run!"
He jumped up and went gallumphing after his friend, attempting to make a clean getaway. Unfortunately he tripped over himself and nearly crashed into the fella standing like a pillar of protection in front of the skittish girl, before he launched himself at the couch, knocking it, Ryoko, and Jun's cider over. He sat in the middle of the disaster he had caused and blushed.
"That is very interesting. Ok you two, what are you up to?"
Hawthorne came up behind Jun and placed a tentative hand on his arm, so that she could more peer around him. She chuckled at Ryoko. Having met Pax briefly, and having gotten close to Ryoko, she could pretty much ascertain the cause of the latest scene.
"Ryoko, what are you putting your new friend up to?"

Ryoko waited on the couch for Pax to hurry up. Then suddenly the couch moved from under her and flipped up, causing her to fall back onto the floor and Jun's cider to slip out of her hands. She crawled quickly across the floor, before pushing up and catching the cider in her hands. Ryoko breathed a sigh of relief. But then she saw Jun and Hawthorne looking at her.
"That is very interesting. Ok you two, what are you up to?"..."Ryoko, what are you putting your new friend up to?"
" Nothing!" Ryoko replied, standing up and hiding Jun's cider behind her back. She walked backwards towards the couch, placing Jun's cider on the ground and putting the couch back into its normal position. She picked the cider back up and held it behind her back again. " I do not know what you are talking about." Ryoko explained to them both.

The moment of fear was over, and Saori quickly realized she was clinging to Darrien. Immediately, she squeaked in embarrassment, and jumped backwards, letting go of his clothes. A deep blush covered her face once more, and she lowered her eyes to the ground, hiding her face behind her long, thick bangs. What must he be thinking about her, after she'd touched him like that?! She sure hoped it wasn't anything awful!!

In response to his statement, she gave a small nod of agreement, looking down again to avoid eye contact.
"Y-yeah...I...I guess so..."
Suddenly, he touched her! She felt his fingers on her cheeks, and let out another small squeak of surprise as he lifted her chin. Though she made her best attempt to look away, she couldn't help but find herself making eye contact with him; her blush deepened so much, she didn't think it could get worse. He pinched her cheeks together, but she didn't even seem to notice; she was just going along with it submissively, giving in to whatever happened like she usually did...

The living room?! Wasn't that where everyone else went?!"
Her eyes widened at the thought of being around such a large group of people, especially in such a small room. Still, she couldn't say no! What would Darrien think of her if she disobeyed something he'd said? She couldn't imagine being disliked by such a nice guy like him. So, despite the butterflies in her tummy, she gulped and nodded shyly to him. "O-Okay..."
And then, she obediently waited for him to lead the way.

This was an awkward situation indeed. The shy little girl seemed to be clinging to his words as tightly as she had clung to his clothing, which, under normal circumstances, he'd be an advocate of. This felt different, forced almost. He started laughing slightly as he crouched before her, then he barried his head in his free hand and sighed. Taking his hand from her chin, he pulled her bangs to reveal her other eye and gave her a quirky smirk.
"You don't have to do anything you don't want to, don't let anyone make you think otherwise."
With that, he stood up and turned to the fridge. This school was just full of surprises, wasn't it? For the first time in his short life, Darrien met a female he wasn't interested in on an intimate level. This one was definately different, and it made Darrien feel a little awkward, not that he'd show it, but it was there. She was too innocent, too pure for that manner of interest. He felt an innate need to protect her, for reasosn he couldn't yet explain to himself.
He took two orange sodas from the fridge, and opened both one by one. He returned to facing the girl, then extended one in his right hand.
"We'll go out there when you're ready to, and when we're out there, if you feel any aversion to what's going on, you feel free to come right back in here, ok Whisper?"
A nickname. Familiarity put people at ease, and she was definately in need of easing.

Pax lay sprawled across the floor at the foot of the newly righted couch, grinning dumbly at Ryoko. He had, after all, made a rather impressive entrance. Unfortunately a squad of disapproving onlookers seemed to be pouring into their hideout, so he turned his brightest look of innocence, still lying on the floor, to Jun-Bo and Hawthorne.
" Nothing!"
" I do not know what you are talking about."
"Yeah, me neither. No clue whatsoever what ye may or may not be suggesting that we were plotting. Ulterior motive free over here, scout's honour, y'know?"
Hawthorne put her hand in front of her mouth, stifling a chuckle at the pair's antics. They were definitely up to something, and she wondered what Ryoko was hiding behind her back. But this was their game, that they were involving Jun-Bo in, so she was content to stand at his side and watch for now.

"Eh?"
Pax sat bolt upright, shaking his head vehemently. He didn't want to be caught about their trick quite yet, since he thought that Ryoko might be disappointed if their cards were revealed too early. And he wouldn't want to see her disappointed, she was his friend.
"Nope, no way. No cider. Never saw any cider, I don't have cider, do you have cider, Ryoko? Never saw cider in my whole life."

Ryoko looked at Pax. It seemed that he was still on the floor. Why he was still down there, she didn't know. He was lucky. He wasn't the one with the evidence in his hands. She looked over to Jun, then back at Pax, then to Jun again. Ryoko took a small step backwards so she was clear of the couch if she had to run away from him.
"Is that my bottle of cider? What are you two doing with it?"..."Nope, no way. No cider. Never saw any cider, I don't have cider, do you have cider, Ryoko? Never saw cider in my whole life."
Ryoko was about to say something when Pax spoke. She just stared at him blankly. Lieing didn't seem to be something he was that good at. Actually, she wasn't really listening to what Pax had been saying. Ryoko was busy counting how many times he'd said cider. " That's right Pax. Nothing incriminating to see here folks, move along." She replied.

Stella's hand paused as she prepared to knock on the door. It was the right house, she had made sure. And the overnight bag she had brought had everything she could need, that had been checked too. But she still paused, her lower lip caught under her teeth. Jun had not told her how many people to expect, and though Stella trusted her brother she still was not sure if she could handle too many people.
Her hand was apparently not paying attension to her mind, and rapped smartly on the door. Stella had not even thought to check if it was unlocked, it was polite to be asked into a friends house, not just to barge in yourself.
Her white skirt (she was still not prepared to wear pants) hung past her knees, and her silver top was very cozy. But the air was still chilly, and she shivered slightly as she waited by the door.

Lucas walked quickly through the streets. He had planned to accompany Stella to this sleep over, but forgot to ask her in advance. Looking through the numbers, Lucas looked for the right house. He was dressed just like he usually was, a pair of navy blue pants and a white long sleeve shirt. He brought a bag with him, and he carried it over his shoulder as he approached the street.
When coming near the right house, Lucas spotted Stella. His heart began to race a little when he looked at her. The musician stopped on the sidewalk to try and calm himself down. She still didn't know how he felt, and he was going to keep it that way. Telling her would only make things awkward. Lucas was half tempted to turn around and start running. After a moment, Lucas continued to walk towards the house. He gripped the strap to his bag, holding onto it for dear life as he walked up to her.
" Hi." Lucas greeted, with a smile on his face. He was always good at hiding his feelings, and now was no exception. He noted what she was wearing, the same colours as usual. " You look lovely tonight Stella, just like always." Lucas said. Shut up you idiot! He thought to himself.

He'd seen right through her; not knowing what else to do, she simply blushed and nodded, her fingers clenching a little as they hung together in front of her thighs. She didn't want to say no to him, for several obvious reasons....she didn't like disagreeing with anyone, and she knew that it would bring up an uncomfortable conflict if he began lecturing her about doing the right thing!! So she did what she always does: she shyly agreed with him.
"B-but...then..." She looked down at her feet shyly. "Wh-what would we do in here?" Though she was desperately afraid of being around such a large group of people, she didn't want to deprive Darrien of his fun....
So far, Darrien had been nothing but nice to her. He'd protected her from the scary people, both when she'd first met him downtown and here in the kitchen. The more she was around him, the less shy she felt.....in fact, it was starting to feel more like when she was with her brothers! Her emerald eyes glanced quickly at him....he sure wasn't much like either of them, but...still...he treated her like they did.
As he approached with the sodas, she took the one offered to her with a small smile on her face. With a quick bow of her head, she opened her mouth to utter a thanks to him....just as the doorbell rang. Completely surprised, she let out a tiny squeak and jumped, scurrying around behind him once again to hide.
"We'll go out there when you're ready to, and when we're out there, if you feel any aversion to what's going on, you feel free to come right back in here, ok Whisper?"
She glanced up at him with a faint crimson color on her cheeks, a little embarrassed at her last action. Obviously, the doorbell wasn't going to harm her, right? She giggled nervously and nodded.

Skittish, almost like a baby kitten. When something occured that she'd never been exposed to, she jumped like it was the first step in a nuclear launch. Not to say this wasn't endearing in its own right, Darrien took extra measure not to giggle or stare when these things happened. He wanted her to settle down so she could enjoy the party, and he figured laughing at her would be a step in the wrong direction.
Finishing his own soda, he took a moment to think over her question.
"Well, I don't believe I've met any of the others in there myself yet, so it'll be an adventure for both of us."
He took slight notice of the doorbell ringing, then something occured to him. The sexes were rather disproportionate at this party, at least from the guests he'd met they were. Jun must either be attempting to improve his odds, welcoming a foreign dignitary, or making an announcement Darrien wasn't sure he wanted to hear. Shrugging slightly, he turned head toward Saori once more. Offering his hand to her, he smiled brightly.
"Shall we?"
When she took his hand, they'd walk into the living room, between Jun and the pair that abducted his cider jug, to a vacant couch. Darrien took a seat, hoping Saori would do the same.
If you're important, people come to you.
A phrase he wasn't sure who authored, but lived by none the less. Sometimes, the best impression is the quietest, it retained the enigma of the man.

So Pax wasn't the smoothest when it came to hiding things, what else was new? He wasn't good at a lot of things that involved interacting with people. Still, he was aware enough to notice Ryoko was moving into a position where she could flee, so he scootched over a bit so that at the very least Jun-Bo would have to trip over him trying to catch her.
" That's right Pax. Nothing incriminating to see here folks, move along."
"Like the lady says, fellas, no cider here. Never saw no cider no how, anyway. Move along, no cider to be had here."
Okay, so he was really suspicious. So sue him, the most he'd ever snaked in his entire life was a chocolate bar from his older brother, and he'd been beaten up for that. Still, you'd think he'd be able to manage it fro a little joke.
"Ok something is out of place here, and I think it will start with what is behind you back."
Jun was looking towards Ryoko, with a very dangerous glint in his eye. Pax didn't like that smirk either, it promised trouble, and trouble for Ryoko seemed to mean trouble for him as well. Damn that girl was a handful, but he knew what he was gonna do.
"We going to settle this the easy way or the hard way?"
Pax lunged to his feet, grabbed the bottle from behind Ryoko's back and took off at a dead run. Sadly, he hadn't noticed the fact that the couch had been reclaimed, and he tripped over the occupant's feet. Still, not letting that stop him, he scrambled across the floor, cider in hand, pulling himself up when he reached the stairs, and started clambering upward. ESCAPE!
With all this excitement, Hawthorne figured she'd better open the door this time. She touched Jun-Bo's arm lightly, indicating that she would get the knock, and then she flounced out to get the door. Poor people, what were they coming in to.
She swing the door wide, and burst into a grin. Stella and Lucas! She was so happy to see the two of them together. She grinned broadly and flung her arms around Stella in a rather exhuberant hug.
"Hey guys! Glad you got here! Welcome to the madhouse . . . don't mind the nutters."

Stella turned as Lucas greeted her; very glad her room mate was here. She smiled brightly, her eyes shining. That made it two people she knew she would know, and two was much better then one.
"Hello Lucas."
"You look lovely tonight Stella, just like always."
Stella's cheeks began to go pink, but she gave another smile, even laughing softly for a moment. Compliments always threw her. Her grip on her overnight back tightened slightly, and then relaxed.
"It's most kind of you to say so. You too look well."
Stella bit her lip again slightly, and looked back at the door. She always felt nervous around her room mate, constantly unsure if she was saying the right thing or not. But silence was not really an option, for silence led people to believe you did not enjoy their company, which when applied to Lucas was completely untrue.
Stella's circle of thought was broken as the door opened. She had time to take in the face of the person there before she was swept up in Hawthorn's embrace. Stella had stiffened slightly, but she quickly relaxed and returned the hug.
"It is good to see you again, Hawthorn."
Here was someone she could talk to about her reactions to Lucas. Stella could have cried out in relief.
"Hey guys! Glad you got here! Welcome to the madhouse . . . don't mind the nutters."
Stella laughed, her eyes bright. Suddenly she did not feel so edgy at all. This was going to be fun.

When Jun moved towards her, Ryoko swapped looks from Pax and him. Then Pax ran up and took the bottle from her and started running. Best solution? Follow him of course! It wasn't like she knew where she'd be going anyway. Maybe they'd split up on the second floor of the house and see who he would chase. He'd probably go after Pax, but if Ryoko took his cider now, he wouldn't know who to chase.
After making it up the stairs, Ryoko grabbed the cider back from Pax. She pointed to the left. " You go that way, I'll go this way." She said to him. Ryoko headed off to the right and hoped Pax didn't randomly decide to follow her. She found herself in the doorway to one of the bedrooms, and looked around for the best place to hide.
"It's most kind of you to say so. You too look well."
Lucas mentally slapped himself in the head. He should know that his roommate didn't do well with compliments, but it was in his nature to give them out. All Lucas did was smiled at her. He tugged lightly on the strap of his bag, loosening the grip he had on it.
"Hey guys! Glad you got here! Welcome to the madhouse . . . don't mind the nutters."
Lucas looked to who opened the door. It was Hawthorne. Thank god she was here. Lucas needed to get away from Stella and calm down or he might say something incredibly stupid like: I love you lets be together, or something along those lines. " Hi Hawthorne, good to see you again." He said.
