We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Sakura sat alone on the bench. She was enjoying the warm sunshine as the leaves began to fall all around her. *it's so lonly being at this place.* she sighed and looked around at all the couples that were sharing the sun's wonderful rays together. *i wish i had a boyfriend. Or atleast a friend. I've only been at this school for a day and i haven't met anyone yet.*Sakura looked up at the sky. A beautiful blue jay was chirping loudly above her in the treetops. Just as she dropped her head, a pink cherry bloosom fell on the top of her head. Because of it's light density, she didn't feel the flower so she never knew it was there. She was too busy searching for a good friend.
Walking through the park alone Karrody is observing all the couples, and more so, those who happen to be alone. Looking at those who tend to be down and out, and slightly moopy (sp?)
By himself he appears as just another lone person walking through the park. His searching eyes well hidden behind his dark glasses. As he continues through the park he notices a girl sitting alone on a bench.
"Good day miss." Karrody greets her in his thick French accent. "Is there an open space for another at this bench?" He asks her.

Sakura looks up at the man who had just appeared.
"Yes, please sit!"She told him, excited that someone had actually gone through the trouble of talking to her.
"I;m Sakura. What's your name?" She asked, putting out her hand to give a warm handshake.

Rayd had been gone for a very long time, too long. He had left the school, hoping never to have to return. Rayd had his new guitar slung over his shoulder as he walked through the park, thinking about whether or not it would be wise to return to Manga High. He had been home, in Australia with his family before his father decided to kick him out, forcing him back here. Rayd felt like his whole life could just be summed up in a series of flashes which may even be the reason for his powers.
The scars which plagued his chest were now fading for good and he had obtained new powers as well. The the 6ft3, now 18 year old slowly looked up to the sky, brushing his longer hair from his eyes which were still, as usual covered by sunglasses. He was wearing a black T-shirt, the sleeves just revealing the flame tattoo on his left bi-cep, and black pants.
Suddenly, Rayd's head turned to the side as he heard a familiar voice... Karrody. Having not seen him for so long had almost made Rayd forget about him though now his anger returned. His gaze then switched to the girl next to him, who, he could tell, didn't have a clue who, or what Karrody was. Rayd grinned and quickly teleported behind Karrody, who would no doubt have known he was now there.
"Still in the game I see Vamp. Though it seems the older girls have become a bit more of a challenge."
Rayd raised an eyebrow above his sunglasses as he looked down on the Frenchman. There would be nothing Rayd would like more than beating the crap out of this guy on his first day back, though he knew he wouldn't be going back to Manga High if he did that.

Sakura raised an eyebrow at the man.
"Well, have it your way."She took back her hand and placed it on her lap.
"So your french? How intreasting. I came from an island of the coast of egypt. Everywho who lived there were experienced elementals. Well, except for me. I have a different talent."She told Karrody.
Suddenly a sharp twinge of another presence came into her mind. *Someone else is here. what's his name....Rayd. So he intends to sneak up on us huh?*Sakura thought as she read the person who was now approaching them.
"Well, it seems we have a visitor."She whispered to Karrody when a man appeared behind them.
Even though Sakura had expected him, she still gasped out of surprise. She didn't know that he could tellaport.

Ignoring Rayd completely as though he were not even there, though it isn't to say he is not annoyed by Rayd's sudden return Karrody continues to speak to Sakura.
"Egypt? I believe I have traveled through the mainland before. An island off the coast would have been a great stop. Mayhaps the next time I go through I will look up the islands that are near."
Sitting down on the bench at the seat that Sakura originally offered Karrody allows Rayd to cross into his range of sight.
"Goodness, it is Rayd." Karrody says in mock suprise. "I haven't seen you around in quite awhile. I thought you were expelled due to one of your outbursts." Karrody adds, hoping to put Rayd on edge with a false rumor that he knew would pass as believeable to others ears.
(OOC: Oh I almost forgot. Welcome back. I am glad we got some people to start rping again. Also, check the character listings and let me know in the Ask the Staff forum if your profile is up to date. MHS was messed up when EzBoard was attacked recently)

Looking to Sakura to reply to her question, Karrody answers with a smile hidden inside. "I believe the correct term would be to say that we have met. I have seen so little of him I had thought he was expelled. Perhaps they are giving you a second chance?" Karrody finishes turning towards Rayd and directing the question to him.

Rayd wasn't too happy about Karrody's intitial comment. He was known for violent outbursts and as he looked at Karrody he was trying to surpress another one.
"Not that it's any of your business, but I left for personal reasons. I had some stuff to take care of... But i'm sure your good friend Lalaru would have told you all about that."
When Rayd first aquired his new power, he caught a glimpse of Karrody comforting Lalaru who as far as Rayd knew was still at the school. Rayd then turned to Sakura and nodded his head.
"Sorry. My names Rayd."
Rayd extended his hand to the new student.
"And don't worry about the whole outburst thing. It's only people like him that have to be careful."

"Yea, i know your name. Look, i'm sorry about reading you before, i can't exactly help who i do it too."She told him as she grabbed his hand and gave him a friendly handshake.
"So what is your power exactly? If you have outburst, then i should know so i know what to expect. Just in case."She asked him boldly.
Rayd grinned and stepped back a little. He placed his guitar on the ground and without warning, and in a white flash, disappeared. A voice then came from behind Sakura.
"I can teleport."
Before she could turn around, he was now in front of her again.
"And, my new powers are pretty interesting."
Rayd removed his sunglasses, revealing his white eyes, no pupil, no iris, just white. Then Rayd's pupil and iris returned, revealing his grey coloured eyes.
"Before I had gained by powers, my eyes looked like this. Now my eyes only look like this when i'm using my new power... It's kind of a second sight, I can see you now but I can see your heat signature. I can change it to night vision, or X-ray vision. I can see incredibly long distances or even microscopic objects. But the most imazing thing is that I can, on demand see anything I want around the world. I can concentrate on my home back in Australia and see what is going on inside, and if I wanted, I could teleport there. Which is good because both powers kind of go hand in hand."
Rayd's white eyes returned and he placed his sunglasses back over them.
"I don't have any offensive powers though. But as you can see, I wouldn't be a pushover."
Rayd tensed the fairly large muscles on his left arm.
"I've learnt how to fight in various styles and weapon combat. Though even if I had offensive powers, I wouldn't want to rely on them anyway. And even if I had an outburst, I would never hit a woman."
Rayd picked up his guitar and slung it over his shoulder again. He shot a glance over at Karrody before looking back at Sakura.

Sakura gasped as he telaported right before her. She was still not used to it.
"Well, that's some nice talents. More useful than mine anyway. As you might have guessed, i can read any approaching person and be able to know who they are, where they are, and what they intend on doing." She told him sadly as she regained her somposure.

"Well, Rayd. I don't know whether to be insulted or flattered. People like me? I am curious, was that due to the fact that I a French background. I just do not understand peoples lack of respect for the French." Karrody says shaking his head.
"Oh yes, our dear friend Lalaru. I am sad to say that I have not seen her around as of late. Or even a large portion of the student body. It seems a great number of students might have left the school."
(OOC: There was an attack on ezboard which wiped out a large portion of its databases. If you look through the forums and notice that a years worth of posts are missing, a large number of players decided ezboard wasn't worth their time when that happened )

OOC: Yeah I know. A couple of the boards I Mod at and even my own board was attacked. I was just incorporating it in cuz it was a part of my History and Rayd wasn't aware of the disappearances.
Rayd shook his head at the French man and rolled his eyes, not that you would notice it.
"It's not that your French, I have nothing against the Fench. Though bloodsucking fiends are a different story."
Rayd wasn't very happy to hear the news that many students had left, especially his close friends. He looked away for a second.
"Well i'm so happy you decided to stay."
Rayd said in a sarcastic tone.
"But it's good to see a new face anyway. Lets hope more follow."
Rayd removed his guitar from his right shoulder and placed it on his left, looking at the sky for a moment before turning back to the others.

"Yes, I would have a problem with a what did you say, 'a bloodsucking fiend' yes, I do not think I would enjoy the company of something deserving such a title" Karrody says, a sideways smile directed at Rayd. Slight enough for it to not be readily visible other then the fact that he is looking at Rayd when he does it.
"I am glad you are pleased that I stayed. I would have thought that I were nothing more then another face in the croud to you, with your extreme popularity that you carry with you. I am amazed you even remembered me." Karrody says in an almost believable tone.
"Well, Mademoiselle." Karrody begins, turning his attention away from Rayd. "Forgive me if I seem to have been neglecting your company. I have not spoken with my classmate Rayd in sometime and it seems we needed to do a little catching up. So might I ask. How has your brief period of time here at Manga High School been?"

Sakura had been listening to their conversation intently and was surprised when Karrody asked her a question.
"OH, well i don't mind! I like to learn new things about people, and you two seem to have formed a history around each other. It's very intreasting."And then addresing his question, "I love it here, it's so beautiful and big. It feels like home except all your friends live here with you."She smiled and closed her eyes. She loved to enjoy the cool breeze out here where so many people could just talk and sit, and have a good time.

Hearing Sakura's way of addressing Rayd's and his conversation Karrody smiles. "Yes, a history. I believe that would be an adequate title for what we have developed for each other."
"I especially enjoy the ability to spend time in the open with friends and not have to be bothered by unneccassary disturbances. The size of the area, like you said is so big, that you don't have to worry about things such as that. Anything coould happen and you don't even have to know about it." Karrody says smiling at Rayd, knowing his words could be taken multiple ways, yet knowing what Rayd must be thinking.
(OOC: Sorry Rayd, Karrody can be an @$$hole sometimes. hehe)

IC: Rayd just ignored Karrody. He had a few comments, but he decided to keep them to himself, he didn't want to make too bad an impression in front of the new student. Rayd's hands came from behind his back and he looked at one of his fingers.
"Oh look. My fingers bleeding. You wouldn't have a tissue or anything would ya Karrody? I wouldn't wanna die of blood loss or anything. And it would be such a waste of blood too."
Rayd grinned as he looked at Karrody. He was now just messing around. He knew Sakura wouldn't have a clue what he was talking about, but then again, depending on the extent of her powers, she might. But if she didn't know, to find out may make her a little uneasy.

Seeing Rayds fingers, Karrody tries not to laugh at the stereotype that Rayd is going off of to try and egg him on. Knowing that he now has something he can use gainst Rayd to his advantage Karrody doesn't do anything that would visibly make Rayd know what he he is thinking. "Well, forgive me, as I tend to not karry such things on me."
Turning to Sakura so that his face isn't visible to Rayd he uses his facial expression to silently say that he has no idea why Rayd's hands are suddenly bleeding by giing her an almost confused look. "Do you by chance hae a cloth to use Mademoiselle?" He asks her.

Sakura looked at Rayd's finger and gave a shock of grief. She hated the sight of blood no matter how small it was.
"Uhm, uh, yea, let me see."She ruffled through her black purse for something large enough to cover the blood. She franticly caught hold of her oversized handkercheif and thrust it towards Rayd, trying not to touch his bloody hand.
She felt as though she would throw up at any minute, but she held it in by pure will.
