We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

The darker Amber had hesitated before she had given her his hand and then he said to trust him. She couldn't entirely, she was not sure what she was trusting him to do.
Then he tossed her up, her wings opened and allowed her to float for a moment. Her eyes can scan the city, its lights, everything from the sky; what a nice view! She glanced down below watching what he was doing below.

Amber suddenly knew and understood what he was doing! The winged girl smirked, she pointed her sword down. A steady aim, she imagined an imaginary line right down into the kami's neck. Amber made a swift descent from the sky.
I give him no quarter...I have no reason to pray for his soul.
She can look into his eyes, not a hint of remorse. The last thing he would probably see is the angel and her blade. Such a lovely thing can be just as deadly as anyone. Two students from MHS, two measley students brought down the king, the kami...
Blade slicing clean into flesh, into bone-that unmistakeable sound that would drive humans to madness once they heard it in real life. Blood, whatever was left in Sogetu's body would flow out from the neck. Precious crimson life force...

A clean cut, the sword sliced right through the neck, through the scale, through the bone. The head seperated easy enough with blood, the red viscous liquid pouring from the opening and staining the snow, concrete and earth. She stood over the kill, he stood over the kill - no doubt their eyes both watched as the last flicker of life fled from the pupils and the cold harsh reality of death set in.
Akai's ever burning eyes locked into that of the monster, the young man started to kneel down with fingers gripping around the collar that was was left on the last reminants of Sogetsu's neck - he reached down and pulled it off, at four points of the steel, the chains connected to the sheath and to wrist. ". . .I wonder why he wore these chain, this collar. . ." Off comment as fingers curled around the steel and pulled to snap it. A spark of light emmited but quickly dimmed down into nothingness.
"Was it teathering something to this world or inside of him?" As the young man, he dropped the collar to the ground and looked over to darkened eyes of the half angel when another voice spoke to them both.
"I want to thank you to for releasing me and putting an end to this monster's life, I have been a slave to his will for many years and breaking the collar, broke the seal and provided me with freedom. I wish there was something I could offer as a sign of my gratitude, but all of my material possessions are no longer a part of this world - the sword's power is beyond replenishing, so the only I can give you is the gratitude of a king." A sweeping bow came from the man who be king of Niagra, the long blue hair which flowed like a river, spilled over his shoulder -- The posture and grace of the ethereal spirit floating in the distance was unmistable and reflected nothing short of pure kingship. The angel didn't move except to hop off the body, blood coating her the blade of her sword. One shake and small splatters would leave a trail on the ground. Weather would make it disappear. She watched as the now-freed spirit gave its gratitude to the two of them before it vanished. The nephilim sheathed her sword and clasped her hands together, another spirit would find its place to peace.
Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen.

The pendulum immediately turned from onyx black to clear again, her body and soul were spared of the blood of the nephilim. The winged girl collapsed to her knees, but she did not pass out. Getting stronger, little by little...her vision cleared up and she found herself staring at the ground, small blood splatters all in a line.

Amber slumped down to the ground after she sheathed her sword and said a quick prayer (in Latin) for the spirit - who after countless years of imprisonment was allowed to move on. But her slumping form was soon catch within Akai's grasp - those vermillion eyes still lighting up across his features, glowing underneath the veil of disposed hair.
"Amber. . ." Just a whisper of Akai's voice came across to caress those angelic ears. Her eyes were shielded away from what had just transpired only a moment ago. Akai's body imposed itself from monster as the distance between him and Amber was practically nonexsistant.
"We should go; Are you ok to walk, or do you need me to carry you?" He had to know if she still had the strength to go on of her own accord - On bended knee he remained like a rock, steady and firm in place.

She was caught, so her fall wasn't as bad as it could've been. The girl looked up at him, blinked once and realized that his eyes were different. Not powder blue, but something much more intense that they could met ice. Amber's eyes, back to her gentle darkness but exhausted.
Where is Sogetsu? Why is Akai so...
"Akai?" Her question was soft, almost as if she was in a lucid state of sleep. She had no idea who this person was, but it didn't seem like Akai. Her hand placed on his shoulder, she tried to stand but she would near collapse again.
"I don't feel well..."

Amber looked into Akai's eyes and had seen the change in him, those bare finger tips touching to her shoulder's never before had she seen his right arm and this was the first time she could do so with her own eyes and not darker, uncaring eyes of her other side.
"I got you. . ." She would near collapse, but her body would not do so - the grip was firm and Amber was held steady in the arms of Akai - almost intimate, but not. It was a friend showing care for another, as simple as that. ". . .I got you Amber." His eye may look the vermillion sun at the time of dusk, ever burning, ever setting in the west - But his voice was that of the whispering wind, caressing the cheek softly.

Behind Akai - infront of Amber, there was a noise. Akai's body impeded anything that Amber should be able to see. As if should was shifting, the earth started to vibrate slightly - they can feel it -- but Akai didn't want to see the body behind him so he stuck at an impass. . .

The ground was rumbling, there was no doubt even in Amber's drained state. Her dark eyes stared at the grund, she could even feel the chi shaking below her.
"Akai...the ground..."
The ground cracked and rumbled beneath them. For a moment, the floor shifted and then caved in beneath them. Amber had no energy to scream as the groud gave way beneath them.
How far will they fall and how could the day get any worse?

Akai looked back over shoulder - Amber's Shard of Vis Vires ripping over the ground had more than damage than one could have possibly known it do. Like a mouth, the earth opened and swallowed them whole and their descent was a rapid one - the body of the beast was falling as well sucked down into the vortex with gravity showing no mercy -- Natural instincts guide Akai's thoughts and reactions as he looked to the half angel.
The first ten feet or so are jagged ledges, Akai touched down on the nearst one - his back slamming into the rock, drawing out feral roar of pain, he shirt was ripped from behind and the skin nearly broke, but this new Akai was tougher and more durable. He looked up and as soon as he came to a stand, the body of Sogetsu came crashing with authority, breaking right through that first ledge, bringing Akai with him -- the young boy looked up towards Amber as the earth gave under them "AMBER!!"

Somewhere in the darkness, Amber could not remember when exactly if she had opened her eyes or even woke out of the drained state. While she was tired, her body did react; she grabbed Akai's arm and her wings spread, their descent was softer than it it could've been.
There was a thud, something heavy took a greater fall than she had. When she landed, the girl collapsed on one knee and that's what she was able to remember.
She reached out her hand and felt the ground below her, level and smooth, maybe with some patterns if she moves her fingertips up or down. Where were they? What was this place in the dark? She could hear the white noise, the rushing of the falls echoing but there was no water here.
"Akai...?" she said in a weak voice. She was still holding on to his arm (when did she do such a thing).

It was dark, very dark, so dark that neither of them could see anything right before their face, not even a finger that would poke an eye out - its hard for eyes to adjust to such darkness - a deeping, almost supernatural darkness - but no, it was natural. Akai could feel the Amber's hand holding on to his arm, his eyes had flashed back to blue - so they were not glowing in this perpetual darkness.
"I'm here." He reached out to help Amber come to a stand - or atleast attempted to - his hand went somewhere along her chest area, and cupped whatever may be there. . .Akai paused for a moment - hidden by darkness he turned red as beet and yanked back the cupping hand. "ummm. . " Coy, he turned from fearless to shy in mere seconds as they sat at the bottom of the cave formation.
Then that strange glow started to happen - not quite iridescent, but more golden -- pure golden. All over that right arm of his, the glow eminated and shined brightly through the room - his eyes run over the patterns of the other two seals, cutting Akai from the rest of his potential to achieve his perfectself - silent contemplation. "Improv torch?" A slight smile took his lips as he looked towards the half angel.
The room around them was massive, a few stagamites here and there crawl up from the floor underneath them -- drip, drip, drip, drop -- it echoes through the room, the blood of Sogetsu's impaled body high above on the tip of stagamite falls to the cave floor. It was hard to gain their bearings, which way was North? They say moss always grows on the north side of trees - there were no trees, and no moss to be seen, not even cave moss. It was deep, dank, and onimous.

Lucky for him, the winged girl didn't feel the alleged grope. She remember feeling herself trying to walk. Even her little wings drooped, how long woud it be before she would collapse beyond the standing point. With Akai leading and the pendelum around her wrist glowing with white light (an extra torch to light the way), they descend into the cave. There was a faint, musky scent resembling an old library.
How odd...why does a cave smell like this.
Small drips echoing and the rushing of the falls became more faint as they walked.
"There has to...be a way out..." the girl said in a weak voice. While her pendulum glowed bright, she was fading. She was gonna sleep like a rock when she was able to find herself in a bed.

They had been walking for an unknown amount of the time, the sound of the dripping blood fades - while the sound of the rushings falls ever persistent - drawing closer? farther? No - persistent. Akai looked at Amber, watching her body and how she reacted to the walk, she was tired, her feet looked heavy, as though she were steel shoes - Akai stopped, the glowing arm moved flowed through the air, graceful - bearing the mark of perfection ( his father's ambition ) to touch against her shoulder, fingers sling tightly as words speak strong, determined and fierce.
"Come on Amber - I'll carry you" He moved to kneel down in front of her - eyes look back over his shoulder, looked into the shadow dark eyes that were apart of her features. " And we'll find a way out of here -- I can feel it." His firm set jaw clenched down tightly with that look of steel-y determination growing in his eyes.
Amber was a good friend of his and she once asked him what lies inside of him and he told her -- and what he told her, to this day, it still rings true.
When Amber climbed on his back they continued - the light from her pendant and the glow from the markings wrapped around his arm combined to shine brighter in the close proximity that was shared. The further he walked the more the massive cave shrunk down further, they came across a hall, where the rushing sound of falls played steady.
". . .I know this kinda out from left field--" There was pause as the voice reverberated through her ears, his eyes turned to look at her, through the veil of hair, then continuance followed. "--but who was that guy your mom thought was a girl. . ." Visible annoyance? Maybe. Vocal annoyance? Maybe.
The walked continued on till they entered inside of another opening - there were things here, almost camp like atmosphere - the air quality was better. A bed roll was worn and provide very little comfort from the hard ground below and there is book on the ground, it's old, it's dusty, and it looks as about as a fragile wet paper bag. Akai was silent.

She felt better, not having to walk now. It was still unsure how long the cave went and walking anymore would exhaust what little energy she had left in her body. Akai's question had not even crossed her mind immediately, but once it had, her reply sounded as if she had woken up from sleep.
"Kobichi..." she said. "Kobita...mom wants to adopt him...would be nice..."
The half-angel closed her eyes again. If she was more alive, she would've insisted on walking. Girlish worries, being too heavy or too much of a burden would've been part of her concern.

Akai stride was not hindered, in fact - with her on his back the pace was picked up so he could move faster through the formation. Its was a pretty linear path to follow, and that was fortunate for them. It lead them to place - where there had been a signs of life, not recent -- but it was still a sign of life.
Akai's body paused, his eyes turned to look at Amber again, she getting way to comfortable to the point it looked like she wanted to fall asleep right then and there. Great, now she wants to get some sleep? For two says, she lay in sleepless nights and after a battle, her body must be tired from expending all that energy.
But to her question, he says. . ."He seemed, blindly concerned about you and V'. . .and--" There was that pause again, Akai glance around like someone was watching right at that very moment, those eyes shift from the left, then to the right - back on Amber. ""--he does look like a girl."
AKai walked over to where that old dusty book lay on the ground, those blue eyes look it over while a foot kicks the against the spine. It was sturdy and had withstood the test of time.
