We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

" So, um, you train in Tai Chi, huh? That's interesting." Alastair didn't know what to talk about. He just sat there for a bit with his red eyes fixed on Amber. He then said," So, what do you like to do in your free time?"

She stared back, the red eyes had not bothered her at all. The demon must be very latent she figured, otherwise he would've lashed out by now. She bowed her head, hoping that she wasn't being too rude for not telling certain things about herself. Why should she? Amber didn't know Alastair well enough to even tell him those kind of things.
"Ah...I like sewing and making dresses. I'd like to be a costume designer or something along that track. I read books about mysticism and folklore. I also make custom dolls for fun."
To most people who had been in her room, it was weird to see the dolls, both the goth-loli rag dolls and the Volks dolls, seeming to staring at them when they enter. Her close friends and maybe Sakura wouldn't have noticed, but newer people might. It was one of the curiousites in Amber's side of the dorm room. Amber sipped her drink before speaking again.

"Not a job specifically, but I have an idea of what I want to be doing for a living. I'd like to make costumes, similar to the style I like to wear. I hope to open a shop someday; but for now...my family and I are well taken care of currently."
Again, Amber said little else about that only because it wasn't meant to be spoken of by orders through her mother. She would look over at Datu and Sakura for a moment, maybe curious as to what they are whispering about. Whispers of love maybe? It was odd to Amber, only because she knew about Maevis and how broken up her roomate was about it all.
She has been weird however...like at the rave.
And then she would look at Alastair, locking her dark eyes with his. Odd how the winged girl didn't seem to fear the red eyes, but that was because she knew another who had such eyes...
"I'm sorry. About what happened at the rave." She apologized, and one could wonder how long she had been holding that apology in. She had not apologized that day, there had been too much that occured; some that she couldn't even remember.

He just sat there, starring. Thinking. Thinking of the hell he went threw in that portal at the Rave.

Apologizing for the blood shed? Oh the poor thing, Amber thought to herself. The blood had been nothing to her, just that acrid smell that would forever stain the floors...maybe. If he had known what she had seen, what she had done....would he be so receptive?
Would he continued to be captivated by those dark as midnight eyes?
But she made no other indication about those darker thoughts, those actions that scared even herself. Those were things she would rather not let surface.
"No need to apologize about that." She replied and she took a sip from her glass of water. A waiter would return and ask for their orders (took long enough). Amber would bow her head and say "Osaki ni" out of habit before she would order first.

The waiter said," We can make anything with good quality from most Asian and European countries."
Alastair then said," Good, I'll have som nice hot Haggas! That'll hit the spot."
The waiter replied," We'll get that for you right away."
"Thanks."
The waiter then walked towards the other two and asked what they wanted.

Datu put his hands on the table, and looking blankly into space, he got up.
"Al, I'm going outside for some fresh air. Call me when the food comes, will ya?" He then walked away from the table, and out the door. He gave out a sigh, and looked at the stars. This job just keeps getting harder.....

Sakura watched as Datu got up to leave, his face was mask of coolness. She would look hurt and confused, she bowed her head to calm her emotions. But something inside her would not find peace. A dark anger was welling inside her, she had to fight it for now. She placed her trembling hands on the table and stood. Her voice low and weak, she spoke with out looking up.
“ I am so very sorry I upset Datu, I will see if I can go find him to apologize. Excuse me.”
She took her coat from the chair and moved off into the restaurant she headed towards the front door. Her cell phone in hand, she flipped it open. She pressed the recent call button, Talons name was first on her list. She went to send message she typed off a quick text.
*I might need you to pick me up early tonight would that be ok, or should we hang out another night? *
She moved to the front door she flipped the cell closed after the message sent. She pocketed the phone and slipped her coat on. She took a deep breath and pushed the door open.

Alastair watched the two of them exit. He then realized that he was alone with Amber. He thought to himself,' Ok, well, I just have to keep my cool, yeah that's it. Keep calm.'
" So, what do you want to talk about. Anything in particular Amber?" Alastair then thought to himself,' This dinner is a wreck. I blew this one big time.' His eyes were a really light shade of red. This obviously ment that he was depressed. He even looked a little down.

Datu watched the stars, and if Sakura came through the door, he didn't notice, for he was pondering about his existence. It made him sad, to keep secrets from his friends. It made him feel lonely. "Will the rest of my life be lived in solitude....?" He then found himself singing softly, to soothe himself.

She stood and watched Datu sing, something about his tone was vunerable. She wanted to say she was sorry for what happened but she should wait. She tucked her self into her coat. Slip her phone back into her pocket. It would beep when she recived a reply from Talon. She kept her face down so she could hide her feelings.

After finishing his song, he noticed Sakura standing outside the restaurant. Still looking at the stars, his face seemed sad.
"I don't like keeping secrets as much as you don't like me keeping secrets. I'm sorry...." He then turned to her, his sad face remaining.

Now she was alone with him, how she had a flash of a yearning to slice Sakura's and possibly Datu's heads off for suddenly taking off. What in the world had happened? In their talking, she had not been paying attention to Sakura and Datu out of politeness. She was raised not to interject with other conversations.
Amber looked up at Alastair with a quizzical expression. He seemed just as lost as she was right now, and depressed for some reason.
"Ara...I hope they're both okay?" She said, glancing over her shoulder once in hopes of seeing them. Amber then looked back at Alastair, tilting her head in that curious way.

Alastair could feel his heart begin to pump faster. He looked up at her and then just looked back at his coke.
" Well, Amber..... I'm sorry. I should never have asked you to dinner....... We just met and I asked. I was stupid."
Alastair put his hand on his forhead and rested his elbow on the table. He just stared at his drink. With a sad look of depression in his eyes.
He then mumbled to himself very quietly," This dinner was a failer." Alastair's red eyes didn't move. He then slumped down. He thought that Amber didn't think much of him anyway so it doesn't matter if he gets depressed. He felt crushed. He didn't know if Amber had a face of disgust or concern. He didn't want to look up to find out.

A moment of complete silence from the angelic girl.
"Why are you so hard on yourself, Alastair?"
Had Alastair been able to face her, he would see the gentle and piercing sadness that crossed the girl's face; one that would match the sadness in her voice. Sakura and Datu had left, the food was taking its sweet time coming and now Alastair was depressed over something that she couldn't understand. The girl's hands clasped on top of the table, the chain link that belonged to the pendulum was visible. She bowed her head, looking at the crystal pendulum for peice of mind and then she would speak again.
"So things have not gone as you may have planned. THis will always happen, especially when people like us, like Datu and Sakura are involved. It's just the way life goes. That doesn't mean it's all said and done."
Another pause and she poke again, retaining her cheerfulness for a moment. Cheering others up had become second nature to her now.
"The night is young, ne?"
The winged girl took delicate care in picking up the glass of rosy wine and took a sip.

Alastair listened intently. He realized she was right but he just couldn't help blaming himself for these things.
" I'm so hard on myself...... because, well, I was raised by a slave owner you could say. He blamed everything on me. I just..... Fell if things go wrong, it's my fault."
Alastair sighed. He didn't move his eyes from his glass.
" I'm sorry Amber. I shouldn't be so depressed. It's just.... the way I was raised."
Alastairs eyes then moved up to Amber. He tried to put on a smile but he just couldn't.

"That's no way to live, is it? Constantly burdened by your own depressions, apologizing for being nice...you shouldn't have to do that if it comes from the goodness of the heart."
The winged girl's eyes would not leave him, a smile would not cross her face just that moment. He was trying, she realized but still it seemed unfair he had to be saddened because things didn't go as well. Compared to the things that happened when she was with friends, this was actuall more of a walk in the park; no angels, no demons, no old women with cursed bells, no zombies.
"Consider yourself lucky, Alastair. Nothing significantly bad happened, and by that I mean more of what happened at the rave."

" That's true. I guess." Alastair finally put a small smile on his face. He then said," I'll try to change my ways. I'm just.... New to society you could say."
Alastair saw the waiter coming with the food on a big tray.
"Here's your food........ Where are the other two?"
Alastair replied," They just went out for a sec. Just leave their food on the table. Thank you."
The waiter put the food down and then left. Alastair looked at the haggas on the plate in front of him. He picked up his fork and knife and cut into his haggas. He then took a bite.
He chewed and then his eyes grew wider. He held up his index finger to Amber and ran to the bathroom. About 40 seconds later he came back.
" Sorry Amber, The haggas here sucks. I'm not paying for this crap!"
