We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

The crowds have thinned and are thinning still. Akai is looked for; he's not with Yakoutio and Ness; did he get the popcorn, etc. But then Yakoutio is pointing to the clock; he's grabbing Ness and racing for the corridor; and Ness -

Completely contrary to Ness's sudden (strange) aversion to Vash, the winged girl immediately hugs his arm, happy-happy to see him. For a moment she had been sure he was not even going to join them. Better late than never.

Had Akai just been standing around doing nothing all this time the girls were in the bathroom? No - and his short little scene played out like this.
Akai "Gimme, that, that, annnnnnnd, that. . ." Point, point, annnnnnnd point.
Consessions worker "Will that be all?" Gather, gather, annnnnnnd, gather.
Akai "...Maybe..."
CW "What do you mean, maybe?"

Akai grabbed all the stuff and watched as Yakoutio and Ness darted towards the theater - then with a looooooping swing of his head all the back towards where Amber (clinging to Vash) and V' were coming from the bathroom and Vash (being clung to by Amber) who had just been insulted by Ness, he waited till When they got closer before spoke and those words, were meant for Ms. vendetta. "I you some popcorn and some other sugary. . .treats - with a drink, they had apple juice." Shrug, carry on. . .

Yakoutio stopped in mid walk releasing Ness’ hand and swinging around to look at him, in the background he could see the rest of the group talking to each other, clearly they were all excited about Vash’ arrival but Yakoutio was too excited about watching his first legal PG13 to care that much, besides he saw Vash every day as it was.
“Vash is not a pervert!” Yakoutio snapped forcefully at him, “Why would you even think such a thing. No don’t even say it”.
Yakoutio walked away from Ness towards the corridor entrance before swinging around however not giving Ness the liberty of eye contact.
“You guys coming?” He called out to them.

Ness sighed to himself as Yakoutio didn't listen to him; he'd given the warning, but he wouldn't limit Yakoutio's freedom by stopping him from speaking to someone if he wanted to, even if it was to a perverted, pale-faced, weak-chinned freak like that "Vash" character. Well, if "Vash" kept in character, Yakoutio would soon see him for the monster he really is... He shrugged to himself, and walked forward until he was level with Yakoutio, and proferred a hand to be taken if Yakoutio wanted to. The hand was simply there, ready to be taken, but not forcing anything. Whether Yakoutio takes his hand or not, he'll follow him, only a step or two behind.

Vash felt a little surrounded as the group gathered around him. Of course, he felt a little hurt as Yakoutio totally dismissed him and his birthday greetings. He then quickly ignored that fact with the justification that he was only thirteen and probably had a million things on his mind right now. The hunter would get his chance once they got home to congradulate him on his coming to the teenage years. His arm was then tackled by an excited Amber.

Vash looks at Amber huggling his arm(floating hearts optional) with an annoyed expression.
Vash shakes his arm violently to try and get her off.
Vash stops and sighs with a sweat drop on his head as Amber's still attached and rubbing her cheek against his arm(again, floating hearts optional).

"Uhh...Hello to you too Amber." Vash said, blushing underneath the shadows of his hat. Being love glomped wasn't one of his stronger skills.
He then looked to Ness. He had once again refered to him as Entay. This was getting annoying. He hated being overshadowed by some fictional character. It seemed to make jest of his occupation and his deeds of valor. He seemed so familiar though. It then finally hit him. Ness, Nessa, Doppleganger! It all made sense! A small smirk came onto his face, knowing he most likely had the upperhand now. In time he would use it as his own little weapon, but for now he simply began to walk into the theatre, trailing behind Ness and Yakoutio with Amber still clinging to his arm.
"Then again, wouldn't you thinking already be thought out, so that your thinking is involved in what you'll do? So that means if you didn't think then you wouldn't get to the same conclusion as you would if you thought about it, right? Oh well, best not to think about thinking about thinking, you think so? Amber did release Vash's arm suddenly, she had just remembered what she had wanted to get. That and she wanted a moment to collect herself.
I can't believe I just did that...control myself better...
Yakoutio had asked if they were coming, she was but first she bought gummi bears and a soda for herself. A speedy return to everyone else, more thoughts crawled into her head.
Eh? That's right...Yakoutio's been clinging to Ness often today. Oh dear, that might be problematic if its truly that. Ah, and Vash seemed a little worn out...I wonder if everything will really be okay today.
And with her own thoughts swirling in her mind, she followed after them into the theater. Her neck felt better at least, less of a dull pain.

"Thank you." V takes the popcorn and (apple juice? So healthsome) looks down at the butter-yellow-and-white kernels, the very smell of the American movie experience. Normal; out of place, perhaps, in this particular group of teenagers. Normal isn't a term that anyone should be able to put to them, and yet the casual observer . . .
A brief look (sidelong, and so gold) for Amber, eloquent. But she follows, too; does her best to, detached, trail behind, such a quiet girl. But observant, listening to the sounds of the normal all American movie experience.

Yakoutio didn’t take Ness’ hand but walked closely next to him as the group walked into the theatre, the screen was very large and spanned across the most of one of the huge walls while red seats with chrome braces made their way backwards up two more levels, it looked like it could fit at least two hundred people but for some reason the group were the only ones in the theatre.
“Oh yeah Brooks booked the entire theatre” Yakoutio noted before sitting down in one of the seats, it was a very good one, right in the middle so it had the clearest view of the screen, “The movie should be…”
Before Yakoutio could even finish his sentence the lights surrounding the theatre dimmed, the movie appeared to be starting.

Everyone entered the movie theather in their own time, V - who may have been lagging back had company. They were both distant, didn't say or speak much, only what was needed. The door was held open for her and Akai was infact the last to enter.
Seating order -- might have played out in accordance to everyone's favorites friend.
Ness would sit next to Yakoutio, who in turn is perhaps sitting between Ness and Vash and next -- Amber, who may be sitting between Vash and V' and possibly, more than likely - Akai is the last. So a recap of the possibilty Ness, Yakoutio, Vash, Amber, V', and lastly Akai.
Silence grips them all as the movie was apparently starting.

Between Vash and V was where Amber was most comfortable; the theater was just for them and that suited her fine. The movie started and it had occured to her that she had no idea what they were watching.

Yakoutio sat down next to Ness but leaned away from him for the time being, though after a few hopeless seconds of trying this he found himself unable to stay mad at him and so leant on him linking arms with the older boy as he put his feet up on the chair in front.
“I don’t even know what movie this is but I hope it’s good” Yakoutio said to his friends, “It’s really the only way…”
Suddenly the screen burst into life but instead of the normal adverts, or title sequences, humorous temptations to go to the lobby or trailers for other upcoming films only one thing appeared on the screen, three words in large black letters on a grey background as a soft yet shrill tone echoed around the theatre. Please Stand Clear.
Suddenly with a loud click followed by a sliding noise and a thud two large metal doors closed around the entrance to the theatre blocking them from leaving, on the new door were four letters engraved into the solid metal, ADEH. After this the soft sound of a fire bell could be heard from the other side coupled with the sound of peoples screams, then silence.
What the group couldn’t see was that every window in the building had done exactly the same thing, panicked by this the people in the lobby and cinema’s had ran towards the fire exits emptying the theatre in a matter of seconds exiting in a mad attempt of escaping the possible fire, these fire exits were too blocked off by the metal doors that folded outwards from the chrome braced walls though not until the people had gone through them, leaving the group as the only remaining people in the cinema.
The view from the outside was shocking to say the least, not only had all the windows and doors been blocked off, even the walls and ceiling was coated in this strange metal making the stories look like a huge silver box sitting atop the mall, the group was trapped.

He looked around, still fairly calm though he felt a taletell flutter of alarm deep within himself. He shrugged to himself and said to the others, "What do you guys think? Some kid pulled the fire alarm or something?" He then turned to Yakoutio who was once again holding on to him, and gave his arm a reassuring squeeze. "Aw, Yakoutio... I'm sorry. Someone spoiled the movie for your birthday party..." he said. "How about this ... lemme bake you a cake afterwards? Everyone can come over to my room and have some if they like!" he said happily, his last sentence directed at the whole group, though he still gave Vash a suspicious look. He then bent closer to Yakoutio's ear, and said, "So, what kind of cake do you like? Chocolate, lemon, angel, sponge? Anything strike your interest? I can even make one of a swimming pool with jellow for the water if you like," finishing with a grin as he hoped that they'd be able to salvage the birthday party somehow.

V's gaze flickers over those letters [And Then Death Happened?] and she has half-risen in her seat. She turns her head, swan-necked, to look at the projectionist's room; is somebody up there?
Ness's voice runs off her like water; she is listening to something else.

Amber stared at the words on screen, a gummi worm trapped between her lips. What in the world was this? There was the shrill sound of a bell, faint in the distance, screams. The girl glanced around, and her hand rubbed the back of her neck. There was that pain again, never a good sign.
"Wha...what's going on?" She said, visibly nervous now. Nessa was rambling about cake, V was glancing around as well. Akai and Vash, she had not gauged their reactions yet.

Akai sat in that selfimposed silence, gripping - as if the voice was stolen away with a wisp of wind. One foot was resting on the seat infront of him, but his nonchalant manner of relaxtation was now disturbed. Ms. Vendetta -- she was worried and Akai felt compelled to do something, anything.
That golden gaze of her's looked towards the projectionist's room and as she asked her querry, those cold casted eyes turned to look towards the exits that seemingly sealed themselves [something was triggered?]- the noticable ones that stand immediately that say exit over them.
His foot reconnected with the ground, a resounding thud made the act known as he came to a full stand, bandaged fingers tensed up, gripped up, knuckled up. Akai started to walk away, those eyes, artic shock, flash frozen orbs leer back towards Yakoutio. "This part of the show. . .?" A brow raises up in question as he moved to check all the viable exits.

Vash was sitting very quietly, which was very out of character for the hunter when it was time to take action. Sitting as cool as the undead he shared heritage with, the dunpeal smiled a wicked grin as the doors shut around them. He knew, oh yes he knew. Those agents outside were the cause of this, there was no doubt in Vash's mind. For now, he simply stayed still, his eyes now glowing that evil red that was now a trademark of the dunpeal.
As the events around unfolded, the room slowly started to crawl, litterally! The shadows on the walls started to bleed off, shedding light on the situation. Ever so slowly the shadows of the room creeped their way towards Vash and his sword. After only moments, the entire room was as bright as ever and the shadows clung to his blade. now standing up, Vash simply drew his blade and let it rest against the ground. He was in no mood for this. He was tired, frustrated and now as pissed off as ever! With a whole room of energy at his disposal, these soldiers had nothing that could stop the hunter.

“Ness don’t you understand the level of seriousness of our situation!?”
Yakoutio pushed the older boy off of him Yakoutio stood up bounding over the seats in front of him into the isle powering up a sphere of energy in both hands by his side as he ran towards the door at top speed finally pushing his hands outwards in front of the solid metal.
“Energy needles!!” He bellowed, though all that happened was that the energy hit the metal, and bounced off, almost cutting Yakoutio’s hand in doing so, what type of metal was this?
Yakoutio turned around to the group once again and leant backwards onto the door wondering to himself what the best course of action was though suddenly something happened that made the child jump, a whispered voice, right next to his ear, though where from was unknown.
“Now”
Suddenly the room burst into life as around thirty to forty men each wearing black SWAT uniforms shimmered into view each pointing a gun at everyone in the room, twenty pointed katanas and guns at Vash as various bands of energy appeared around the hunter pinning his arms and legs tightly to each other, one man, who wore a gas mask with a rip in the neck, kicked him to the ground.
Various others pointed guns and katana’s at the other students yelling at them to get to the floor, Yakoutio was quickly pushed to the ground, a pair of handcuffs tightly placed around his wrists, when everyone was detained they room was quite once more, the entire operation took but a few seconds, perfectly timed and executed, these were the elites of the Beta team, they were professionally trained in such operations.
“Well done team” One of the men congratulated, pulling his mask off revealed someone who Vash would recognise, the second agent on the roof, the one with the sniper rifle, he now wore one of the black SWAT outfits which creating a much more freighting aura around him then the suit he wore earlier.
“Now all we have to do is wait” He said to the men in the room, “Remember your orders when it comes to these children… They are to be protected at all times, we fight on their side for their behalf, your lives come second to theirs, those are your orders and so they shall be done”.
Yakoutio’s eyes opened wide, this didn’t make sense, if this was Agent Millers squadron then shouldn’t they be trying to kill him, Agent Brooks had told him about Beta team a couple of times before, but he had expected them to be against him, why were they on their side now?
“You’re not against us?” Yakoutio asked in confusion, “Then… why did you lock us all in this room?”
Agent Miller laughed deeply at Yakoutio’s comment, he walked up to the boy lifting him up with one hand and propping him back up against the wall before rustling his hair about a bit with a smile.
“Beta team was created for one reason, to catch Mr. Monomota” He replied, “When Mr Monomota entered this building the automatic sensors detected him closing the trap, now he’s in the building with us, here is where Beta team will capture him”.
Yakoutio was terrified at this point, his father was in the building with them!? They would all surely die, didn’t he know anything of his powers, he could become living shadow, absorb his power from shadow, kill people with shadow, suddenly something horrible entered Yakoutio’s mind, it all made sense.
“My father can’t be held within these walls!” Yakoutio yelled, tears streaming down his face, “The walls aren’t to keep him locked in! They’re to keep US locked in as bait!”
Agent Miller nodded before bursting out into laughter taking a few steps across the isle walking between his men still laughing though suddenly something happened that caused him to stop dead in his tracks, one of the men in the corner of the room was trembling in fear, whimpering as shadow seemed to rise up around him covering his legs though not touching him, he glanced up to the others in the room, his eyes filled with terror before looking back down to his legs.
“Get into position!” Agent Millar bellowed signalling for each man to take formation pointing their MP5’s and other weapons at the shadow that began to surround the man in the corner of the auditorium, suddenly the shadow brushed against the mans leg causing for him to howl in agony as a black screen covered his body starting from where it had touched his thigh, it spread outwards covering his entire leg just as another part of the whirling shadow touched his arm causing the same effect, the man howled in agony as he bent backwards now completely covered in darkness before lifting upwards dissipating into nothingness with a howl of pain that seemed to linger in the air even after his death, the shadow like gas created from the man joined the shadow which covered the small corner of the room as the scream faded away.
“Don’t touch it” Agent Miller yelled at his men, “You know your training!”
There was a moment of silence as the shadow just remained in the corner spreading slowly outwards, until finally it burst outwards covering the entire two walls of the cinema plus the ceiling, tendrils of darkness shimmering towards them as it tried to reach the men.
“Fire!”
Suddenly each of Beta Team opened fire on the shadow, each bullet sinking into the shadow causing for it to glow and burn slightly with the sound of a million howling agonies, causing for it to sink back slightly though it still managed to make its way towards the group.
