Stars and Sand (Jun)
Hawthorne was wearing one of the new outfits she had bought at the mall earlier, which was kind of exciting for her. The jeans were pre-distressed, which was awesome, and they had these massive flares at the bottom, which totally disguised her large thighs. She was wearing a Pink Floyd t-shirt, but this one had a much more feminine cut, scooping low at the neck with tiny little cap sleeves. She'd never noticed that they made girls clothes, not that she'd ever looked. Underneath she had a forest green swimsuit, which was really more flattering than the black bag she used to wear. She was bare foot, her moccasins poking out of the bag she carried, as well as a fluffy green beach towel, and a few treats she had tucked away for later.

She strolled down the beach until she found the perfect spot, free from rocks and high enough above the tideline to keep the stuff dry, but not too far away that it was no more than a few quick steps to the water. She laid out the towel, and then perched, rather uncomfortably, on the edge. She was pretty sure that the water was gonna be cold, and she wasn't sure if she was ready to try it out yet.

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
*His eyes looked to the water. It almost seemed to taunt him the way it moved in and out. He snickered to him self as he thought like that. If he was able to he wanted to be swimming today, but when water got cold the sharks seemed to be attracted to the warmth of a person. He snickered and ran towards the water. With a smile he entered the water. It washed up over his knees and then he dove into the water. He smiled as the cold water rushed over his nearly naked body.

He smiled standing up in knee deep water. He grinned and looked down the beach. The water was moving in and out at such odd speeds it made for assoume training for foot work. He smiled and took off running down the beach thru the knee deep water. He grinned as it slowed him down greatly. He wondered to him self if the water was truely able to stop some one of a quick enough speed. He smirked and ran on.*

"Maybe I will have to get Yaky yo join me down here some time to test that theory"

*He laughed and ran on. He had left all his things againest a hidden rock back where he had entered the water. He body was covered in only a pair of boards shorts. He smiled as the water rushed up into his pants it was cold for sure. The shorts had blue flames racing up them as if to eat him alive.

He moved at a quickened pace thru the water. If he had thought more on it, he might have thought some one else was around, but to him the chi signals were either birds or dogs. Except for one he sensed up ahead. He just laughed and continued to moved on running thru the water*

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)

Hawthorne idly drew a finger through the sand, tracing ever-growing spirals. She knew she should go out into the water, it was why she was down here after all. She was a much better swimmer than she was a runner, having spent many summer nights down in the quarry, but she knew what was in that water. You never knew with this wilder stuff. Besides, she wasn't sure about things like undertow.

Still, there was a noise disturbing the stillness of the air, a sloshing, crashing kinda noise, as if someone was crazy enough to be running through the surf. She wasn't sure if it was a common affliction at MHS, but she only knew of one person who would be doing that out here on the beach. She scanned the scene, searching for the one person in all of MHS she'd most like to see.

There was Jun-Bo, looking like an Adonis in the late afternoon sun. Sure enough he was running through the water, in a rather demonstrative pair of blue shorts. Hawthorne's eyebrows shot up to her hairline, more than a little surprised. He looked . . . majestic out there, and she laid back on her towel, watching Jun work out. She wondered if he'd notice her . . . She waved just in case.

*He noticed the person wave so decided he had better stop by and say hi. He did not want to make some one upset. Though he had planed on running the length of the beach thirce over today in the surf. It was hella good work out. He grinned almost mischievously when he say it was her.

He approched her coming out of the water with that grin. He mover over quickly and kneels down next to her giving her a hug, making sure to get as much of his ice cold body on her as he could. Once her had her he chuckled knowing he was going to get the scream and compalining he was aiming for.*

"Fancy meeting you out here and in such a nice area."

*He had almost been able to mention that her bathing suit was nice, but he did not want to come off as to make her think he thought her cloths were not nice. So he was had almost inserted his foot into his mouth and chewed on it.*

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)

Apparently he had noticed her, and he was coming in to say hi. She was glad, and pulled off her t-shirt, revealing the top half of her swimsuit, as the dripping paragon climed up the beach, a very dangerous smile on his face. He kneeled down and hugged her . . . and she shrieked. He was freezing!!! She squirmed, trying to get away from as much of that dripping wet muscle as possible. How could he do that?!?!? It was terrible! And cold!

"Jun-Bo! Ack! Stop! No! Cold!"

Sure, that made sense, she shivered a bit, but whether from the icy chill or the rock-hard man pressed against her was anyone's guess.

"Fancy meeting you out here and in such a nice area."

She tried to grin at him through her nearly-chattering teeth. She could see that this was going to be an interesting kind of swim! She tried once again to wriggle out of Jun's arms.

*He laugehd and let go, once he got the shrieck he wanted. He say back and laughed about it. He grinned looking to her wondering if she always was so loud when cold things touched her. He reached up and brushed his hair back with a chuckle*

"Ah come on now, it is not 'that' cold. I mean you obviously came down here to swim your self."

*He smiled and looked up to the sky, what a nice day his thoughts read as there was almost no clouds in the sky. It was the prefect day to exercise in the surf and swim for hours. It was the sort of day that he lived for when it came to the beach.*

"So how have you been?"

Of course he laughed, he always laughed. He was good-natured like that. After all, it was one of the things that she liked about him. She smiled at him when he ran his hand through his hair. It made him look like a little boy.

"Ah come on now, it is not 'that' cold. I mean you obviously came down here to swim your self."

"It is too that cold!" She pouted a bit. "But yeah, I did come here to swim, I just handn't built up the nerve to go in yet. I hate getting cold . . ."

She sat back and smiled at him again. She should prolly wiggle out of her jeans shortly. At least she wouldn't have to swim alone anymore, that always sucked. Though, she was used to it, of course. She thought back, and ever since she had met Jun-Bo she had been running into interesting people. He was like a good luck charm or something.

"So how have you been?"

"I've been all right. Went shopping, obviously." She self-consciously looked down at her new swimsuit, before making eye contact again. "Other than that, not much difference with me. How about you? You've been taking care of yourself?"

*He chuckled when she asked if he was taking care of himself. He looked down to the bathing suit she looked at and smiled. He was not sure if the color was sure, but it did show off her body, better then her cloths did.*

"I have been taking care of my self, same as always, and it looks good on you."

*He looked back to her eyes and shook his head. He leaned forward quickly and messed up her hair good and messy. He smirked and watched, waiting for her to do something. He figured she would complain at least a little, even if it was only an exhale of breath. He lived for the little odd things people did. It made life worth living.*

"Well if you do not have the nerve then I guess I will be your nerve."

*With that he leaned forward and went to pick her up. Once he had her on his back he started walking towards the water chuckling.*

"I have been taking care of my self, same as always, and it looks good on you."

Was she that transparent, or was he just really good at reading people? She wasn't sure, but whatever it was, she enjoyed the fact that he tended to crush her concerns without her having to voice them. It was nice.

And then he did it again . . . he messed up her hair. She swallowed back a moan of dismay, and quickly started to try to straighten out her hair, chewing on her lip ring in concernation.. She was going to have to start putting her hair up if she was gonna spend much more time with Jun.

"Well if you do not have the nerve then I guess I will be your nerve."

And then he picked her up . . .

"Ack! Jun-Bo! I still have my pants on! Put me down! This instant!"

She wiggled and squirmed as much as possible, trying to escape his grip. But she couldn't help herself, she started laughing. This was the most ridiculous situation she'd ever gotten into, and it was kinda fun. She giggled and wiggled and generally attempted to make this trek as difficult for Jun-Bo as possible.

*He laughed as she started to yell about him going to throw her in the water. Then she mentioned her pants were on. He stopped and looked to her. She was right she did have her pants on. He shrugged and reached up with his free hand. The other one held onto her.*

"Well then we will just have to remove them from you."

*His fingers deftly undid the button on the pants and unzipped them. He then slipped a hand slightly inside the pants againest her right leg and tugged them down, slowly working them off her legs. He snickered as she tried to get him to stop. Once he had her pants off competely he tossed them over with the rest of her stuff and then carried her on to the water. Walking in tell he was up to his waist in the cold water. He laughed, this was going to be fun.*

Oh no he wasn't, there was no way, not a chance . . . oh gods he was! Hawthorne completely froze for half a second when Jun-Bo's hand rested on her button. A look of complete disbelief crossing her features. He was gonna . . . and he did. She began to squirm again as he slid the pants down off her legs. She wasn't overly worried, this was Jun after all, but she didn't like to have the scars on her legs that open of a display to someone she liked. At least she'd shaved her legs . . .

"Ready?"

She definitely wasn't ready, and she barely managed to squeak that out when she realized she was already almost touching the water. She clung to Jun-Bo's shoulder.

"No. Not ready, definitely not ready. It's too cold, just give me a minute . . . I promise, I can do this on my own . . . Really . . . aren't you being a bit hasty?"

*He looked to her legs and could see the scar. He had been planing on complamenting her legs, just to relax her a bit, but then he noticed the scars. He lifts her a little so he could get a better look. He closed his eyes and tried to think of the things this poor lass had to go thru to have scars like those. It was unheard of where he came from to scar a woman so. The man who did this would have to be her father or he would be put to death.*

"No, You in the water now."

*With that he sat down submerging him self all the way to his chin. He smiled as he pulled most of her body into the water. He wonderd what type of scream he would get out of this one. Most people would have screamed with him removing their pants let alone throwing them in ice cold water.*

She caught sight of Jun-Bo closing his eyes as he looked at her scarred legs, and she sighed. She knew they were ugly, which was why she hated people looking at them. She wished that Drewe hadn't been . . . Oh well. That was neither here nor there. And there was nothing she could do about it but move on. Besides, she had more pressing concerns at the moment . . .

"No, You in the water now."

As they submerged Hawthorne let out a startled, gaspy little yelp. This would have been much easier her way. She sucked in a deep breath, as if she could siphon in heat from the air around them. Manidoo, was it ever cold . . . She let out a tiny prayer to the Great Spirit to keep her from catching hypthermia, before banging on Jun-Bo's shoulder. When she spoke, her voice was still a little breathy from the shock of the water temperature.

"You can let me go. I promise I won't run away . . ."

*He smiled and let her go to either run away or to stay. He was not the one that needed comforting at this time. He smiled and opened his eyes slowly. He swam out a foot or two and turned to look at her. His eyes showed a slight bit of pain and yet joy in them*

"You can run if you want. I will let you leave. But before you go there is something you should know. Those scars on your legs, they are kind of cute."

*He then dove under the water and began to swim along the bottum. He was letting her do what she wanted. She could run or she could wait for him to come up. Either way she would have time to think of what to say to hie remark. He was sure she had not heard it before. Most guys like their girl markless. Jun was the same, but then on the other hand marks showed personalty and normally the type of life a person had had.

After swimming about 15 feet he came up taking a breath of air and smiling looked away from her at this time. He looked out into the deep waters further away. He wondered if the sharks would be out tonight of if they would know it is him again and leave them alone.*

Hawthorne's eyes nearly popped out of her head . . . cute? Perhaps Jun-Bo had some kind of issue . . . nah. He was just being his sweet, caring self. Trying to put her at ease, just like he always did. What a doll, no wonder she liked him.

Hawthorne, being a strong swimmer, skimmed the water above where Jun was swimming below, being as quiet as possible, and staying a bit back so that he wouldn't come up underneath her. She was silently thrilled when he was looking out to sea as he came up, because it meant he hadn't noticed her. After all the teasing he had done, it was about time to get some of her own back. She swam up behind him, nice and quiet, and dunked his head under.

"You, sir. Are a pest!"

With that she giggled and swam off in the opposite direction as fast as possible. Here, she felt they were on much more even ground, though she didn't have his kinda endurance. She called back over her shoulder to him.

"Won't catch me this time!"

*When his head was dunked her smiled and slowly raised it back out of the water and looked the way she went. He smiled and started to swim after her. It had taken him a while to come up from the dunk so she had gained a good lead on him. He smiled and started to swim after her. Though he was not in a hurry so he just swam at a quick pace. He smiled wondering if she would be a fast swimmer.*

"I think you do not know me yet."

*His words were soft and as truthfull as he could make them. Though this time he was not in so much of a mood to get this over with. He wanted to prolong this swim to see what she was made of. He smiled as he looked at her from the backside. It was not a angle he normally got to look at her from.*

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)

Hawthorne was a good 20 metres out by the time Jun-Bo had managed to re-emerge. She had been swimming since she was very small, not in water with a current as strong as this, but that was okay. She was swimming with the flow of the water right now, using it to help propel her forward.

"I think you do not know me yet."

She was too far away to hear him, as she was focused on getting away. She wasn't quiet anymore, and she was using a powerful, splashing butterfly stroke. It left a lot of her body out of the water, a good deal of the time, presenting a rather clear view of her posterior.

She was making good distance, and didn't even turn to see if he was pursuing her, she was fairly certain he would. After all, he liked a competition as much as she did.

*He sighed and lowered his head down and just started swimming as fast as he could. He did not bother with the butterfly as it was a faster stroke, but burnt thru energy like no tomrrow. He use the crawl stroke other wise know as free style. He smiled as his hands moved with cupped hands and pushed fast. He legs remained locked stright as he fluttered fast keeping his legs in the water for more of the stroke. He did not want to waste energy splashing.

His hands strightened as he reached out making it slide into the water. He turned his head to the side to breath. He smirked as his form was good. If he had his motion down pat and could cut thru the water quickly.

His thoughts were that of he honestly wanted to relax right now more then chase her around, but he had forced her to play chase with him, so he could play with her. He smiled at his thoughts*

Jun-Bo was gaining, not quickly, but steadily. Hawthorne risked a peak behind her. She was surprised, he had good form. Even someone self-taught like herself could tell that. This could be fun! She dived under, reversing direction in a half-roll and darted through the water underneath Jun. She figured she was quick enough to pull that off.

She was smiling as she swam, this was fun. She liked them being on more even ground. She broke the surface just behind Jun, taking in a deep gasp of air before taking off for shore with a clean side stroke, so that she could keep an eye on Jun.

*He smiled as she dove and twisted under him. It was nothing for him to snap down his hand and grab her ankle. He pulled her back and under the water. If some one could see them underwater, they would noticed that it almost looked like they were getting ready to do a sexual dance.

He contined to pull her backwards under water tell he could see her face. He then let go and came up. He wondered what she would think of his just catching her and pulling her back. He looked around and nodded slightly.*

"Interesting. We are in an under tow."

*He watched the land start to disappearing. He knew it was only a matter of time before they were both far out to see.*

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)

She thought she was gonna make some distance this time, but Jun-Bo caught ahold of her ankle. That would teach her to be teasing him she guessed. He pulled her along his body, and the surprised look was still in her eyes when they came face to face.

He headed for the surface, and she followed, staying close to him. She liked being this close to someone, she liked being comfortable enough to be this close to someone. Jun-Bo was a really special person, and she was glad he was her friend, even if he didn't want to take it any farther.

"Interesting. We are in an under tow."

"An undertow?"

Now, this was something Hawthorne wasn't familiar with. Sure she'd heard about them, but she had absolutely no experience with the phenomena. This was the largest body of water she'd ever swam in, and that was prolly a bad thing. She swam a little closer to Jun-Bo, following his gaze to the quickly disappearing land mass in the distance. That wasn't good.

"I don't think I want to see the middle of the ocean today . . ."

She smiled at Jun, and started heading towards shore, trying to angle across so that she wouldn't have to be fighting against the full force of the undertow. She was fairly certain that was what she had heard you were supposed to do.
