Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
*The funny thing is, as she started swimming back to land he laid on his back and lazyly swam behind her. He figured that worse came to worse, he would be able to swim out when he gets the notion to get out of trouble He was slowly loosing ground behind her, but was still gaining ground on the land. He smiled and looked to the sky as he swam. If he had it his way, the water would allow him to swim all day, and yet that would ruin his plans for later.
His thoughts traveled back to all the people he had met recently. It was not far fetched to say that he had met some great people and had his choice amongst several women on which he wanted to try and date. Then again he had made his choice or so it seemed. He smiled and swam a little faster.*
Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
Hawthorne looked back over her shoulder, making sure that Jun-Bo was making it out of the undertow. Seeing that he was falling behind, she slowed her pace in conjunction with his, dropping back so that she was swimming beside him. She grinned, he didn't normally take things slow, this was a side of him she hadn't seen yet. Still, she couldn't resist a small jibe.
"Getting tired, Jun-Bo? Don't worry, I can keep it down to your speed if you need to."
She giggled, enjoying the moment. Now that she was really in the water, she was warming up, and really enjoying the whole event. She nudged Jun-Bo with one of her feet, and began to dog-paddle like she did when she was younger.
"So Mister, what brought you out here today? I didn't see you as a beach-type person."
Then again, she prolly didn't seem the type either. She loved the water, it was the only place she could be this physical and still maintain speech, prolly cuz it supported her body weight, and then she didn't have to. She could spend all day out here.

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
*When she slowed down and started making jabs at him verbally. He shook his head and rolled over starting to swim at his full speed. He did not care to answer her. In stead he wanted to get back to land so that way he could being in a safe place to finish this conversation. He was puzzled about why he had wanted to take it slow. It was more of his style to rush things.
He dove down and swam faster then he was on top. He soon made it to shore and moved up tell her could lay down covering his body with water and still have his head out of water. He looked back to her waiting for her to catch up.*
"I do not get tired, ever. I think this body my mine does not know the meaning of the word. I came to work out and to use the water to relax."
Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
Hawthorne was confused by his reaction to her, he was usually very playful, but today he seemed . . . different. He took off for shore and she followed, at a slightly slower pace. She was thinking, and wanted the next thing she said to be well thought through before it came spilling out of her mouth like so many marbles falling down the stairs.
When the water became more shallow, Hawthorne stood up, walking the rest of the way to Jun-Bo's side. She sat in the water beside him, a look of confused consternation on her face.
"I do not get tired, ever. I think this body my mine does not know the meaning of the word. I came to work out and to use the water to relax."
She wasn't sure why, but his words hurt her. She felt like perhaps she was interrupting him, like maybe he wasn't really interested in company right now. A sudden urge to burst into tears welled up inside her, but she crushed it with the ease of long practise. She would not show any boy that he could hurt her. Not with words, not in any way at all.
She bowed her head for a moment, taking a deep breath so that she could steady her voice. There would be no use in allowing it to waver with barely concealed emotion. Once she had herself under control she stood up again. When she spoke her voice was light, even dismissive, though she couldn't mask the hurting from her eyes.
"I'm sorry if I bothered or offended you. I'll let you get back to what you were doing."
She wandered back up the beach to her towel, brushing the sand off her derriere, so as not to get it dirty. She sat down and dug her sandals out of the bag, drying off her feet and slipping them on. She felt kinda, hollow on the inside. It was an uncomfortable feeling, and she didn't like it. She was crushed, but she'd be damned if she'd show it! She dug around and pulled out a bottle of lemonade, taking a long drink before stretching out on her towel. Just 'cause Jun-Bo didn't want to spend time with her didn't mean she couldn't enjoy her visit to the beach.

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
*He could tell that she was hrut by his words, by the way she acted. He mental slapped him self. He watched her move over to her towel. He sat up and got up him self. He headed over with her, cleaning him self off as he went. She had gotten her shoes on by the time he got there. She leaned back and streched. He did something odd for a moment, but looked her over.
He then kneeled down next to her and turned around. He then laid back and moved down tell his head was just above her stomach, then he set it on her stomach and laid there looking up quiet. He was just in one of those moods, the type that you do not honestly feel happy or playful, but at the same time you are not sad or mad. You just seem to want to do things with out having to explain your self. He wiggled his head on her stomach tell it got comfortable then smiled slightly at the fact that he was sure she was confused with him now. He closed his eyes and listened to the water.
He was not sure what he wanted out of this life time, but he figured he had to figure it out soon, or the balance in his life was going to be shattered. It was not like him to allow his emotions and actions to be illogical, but he had been doing that recently. Normally he would not look for another till he had destoried he who had destoried his past. He smiled at the thought that he was close, very close to get his old body back and then destoring the trobule that had hurt his family of the last life.*
Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
Well, it seemed that the boy was not finished with confusing her, as despite everything he followed her back up the beach. She closed her eyes tightly when he approached, silently questioning why he was standing there looking at her. She was fairly certain she looked like a beached whale, all pale skinned and wrapped up in that swath of green. She was prolly all bulgy and gross, but she willed herself not to care. Whatever. He could look if he wanted to.
The next thing she knew, there was a slight weight on her stomach. She cracked an eye open, and saw that Jun-Bo's head was resting there. He wiggled it, and she suppressed a smile. Wasn't she supposed to be upset with him? But how could she when he was being so cute? She sighed, accepting the fact that her anger was gone. He seemed to be good at that.
"Sorry."
Well, that took the cake. Hawthorne couldn't remember anyone ever appologizing before, not even once. It struck a chord deep inside her, and one little tear leaked out before she got ahold of her emotions again. She reached a hand down and stroked Jun-Bo's hair.
"Don't worry about it, I tend to overreact."
She laid there for a moment, enjoying the closeness, the tenderness of the situation. She was on very unfamiliar ground here. She just wasn't sure what to do anymore. She had never been so . . . vulnerable with someone, nor had anyone ever returned the favour and opened up to her.

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
*He smiled when her chi relaxed back to normal. It may still be in a jumbled mess from her random emtions, but at least she was not upset. He remained with his eyes shut and wondered about what he should do. He was currently trying to get with Maaz and yet he was acting maybe a little too friendly with Haw. He was a little puzzled by him self.
Not to mention she was alot like Sakura and that alone could be a bad thing. But then again they say people are attracted to the same thing over and over because they do not learn. Maybe he chose not to learn or something. He snickered at his thoughts.*
"Ok so what are you out here for?"
*He figured he ought to ask her the question she asked him so at least he would know what is going on. He wondered if she planned on being out there long or if it was just a short trip to get some rays. He puzzled over wither he needed more rays him self.*
Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)"Ok so what are you out here for?"
Hawthorne mentally shrugged, it really didn't matter that he ignored her question. It was personal, and some people felt the best way to deal with stuff like that was to pretend it had never happened. She was like that a lot, so she wasn't offended by it.
She mulled over his question, thinking about it, weighing her actual reasons for being out here. She wanted to be as honest with him as possible. After everything he'd done for her, she owed him that much. Even if he hadn't helped her out, he was such an honest, friendly person, you really couldn't help but being comfortable around him.
"I guess there were a few reasons I came out here. Mainly, it was because everytime I try to find a place where I'm alone, like thirty million people end up in the same spot. I figured if I went to a place that was crowded, there'd be less chance of a stranger approaching me."
That was her biggest fear, was the introduction of new people into her life. It made her uncomfortable, and she felt unsafe. Only a few of the people she had encountered were actually people she could feel safe around.
"Other than that, I had some thinking to do, and I've always found the water soothing. The sound of it helps my thoughts order themselves. I've met so many people over the last few days, and I'm trying to put them into boxes in my head, sort out how comfortable I am with them, how close to let them, y'know? Just trying to figure out where I stand." Edited by: Hawthorne of Rathelle at: 12/2/06 11:55 am

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
*He listened to her talk. It was odd and yet very normal what she said. It was odd, because most people would not tell some one something like that. He chuckled and wiggled his head trying to maybe get her to laugh or something. He keep his eyes closed and the spoke calmly, almsot as if he was trying to talk around a sleep baby.*
"I have alot on my mind today as well. That is why I went to run. It allows me to zone out everything and come to the answer I need.
If you want I can leave and let you be at peace. Just let me know if you want some time alone."
*He smiled and continued to rest with his eyes closed. For some reason he felt rather tired, almost like he wanted to take a nap. It had been years since he had taking a true nap. He wondered why he felt like it now. Maybe it was the lack of sleep.*
Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
She giggled lightly when he wiggled his head. She knew he was being affectionate, but she didn't want to disturb the restful state they were in. She ran her fingers through his hair some more, liking the silky feel of it under her fingers. He had great hair . . .
"I have alot on my mind today as well. That is why I went to run. It allows me to zone out everything and come to the answer I need. If you want I can leave and let you be at peace. Just let me know if you want some time alone."
"That's okay Jun-Bo, you're not disturbing me. I find your presence, soothing. You make me feel so peaceful inside. As if being around you proves that everything is gonna turn out okay."
She bit her lip after that. She kinda wished she hadn't said it out loud. She was walking out on precarious tree limbs . . . and her balance wasn't good at the best of times. She didn't usually play risky hands like this one, but Jun-Bo seemed worth the effort.

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
*He listened to her and with a smile and opened a single eye and looked to her. He then sat up and turned around. He found some open skin, her stomach if he could get to it, if not then her thigh and leaned down quickly and gave her a nice big rasberry before hopping up onto his feet and jumping back so that way she would have to get up if she wanted to get him back.
He had laid around enough for today. If he laided around much more he would start to snore at how lazy he was doing. He had honestly thought he was going to take a nap on her. Maybe he should go home eariler today then he had planned and get a nap in. He had been busy alot lately and not sleeping like normal.*
"Oh ya? Well lets see you catch me and prove that this will turn out 'okay'."
*He laughed and hopped back some more waiting for her to get up. He was in more of a playful mood then he was eariler, but he still was not all that playful, but he knew he could not lay around any more today.*
Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
She was glad she was wearing a one-piece outfit, saving her stomach, but a raspberry on the thigh was a little . . . distressing to say the least. She sat up and quirked an eyebrow at him. And they said girls had mood swings!
"Oh ya? Well lets see you catch me and prove that this will turn out 'okay'."
"Jun-Bo, you are incorrigible!"
He was hopping back like a dyslexic bunny rabbit, and the sight made her giggle. She pulled herself to her feet, wondering what had gotten him all fired up all of a sudden. Her limbs were kinda heavy, she thought she may have been drifting off to sleep before Jun-Bo had suddenly been seized in some kinda fit of energy.
She pounced towards the boy, swiping out at him with her feet. She was glad they were on a sandy beach, they could be a little more rough-and-tumble without worrying about hurting one another. Apparently Jun-Bo was convinced that they were gonna get a little more of this "play" stuff in, if it was at all possible.

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
*He laughed as she called him a name. It was funny to him that she was getting all huffed up about him changling her to another race. He smirked and leaped backwards when she lunged for him. He land softly with a smile. He wondered what she would do next.
He stuck his tounge out and went 'meaah'. He laughed turning and taking off at a jog. It was his idea that she would have to run all the faster to catch him now. He figured after she got all warmed up he would lift her off the ground and take her into the nice cold water again, getting a second scream from her that day.
But of course that was a ways away. He had to get her to chase him around for a while and work up that heat. He chuckled and turned around so he jogged backwards waving to her with a silly grin.*
"Oh come on slow poke, having trouble walking today?"
Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
The boy had stuck his tongue out her! And what was that noise he had made? She laughed so hard she nearly fell over again. He was such a riot sometimes! She got herself all collected and started off after him, though by the time she managed to regroup, he already had a bit of a lead on her. So she ran, even though he was jogging, 'cause she wanted to catch up.
And then . . . he started jogging backwards again. That drove her mental! She knew he knew it too. Which made her laugh again, that and the goofy grin. He certainly knew how to lighten a mood. She stuck her own tongue out at him.
"Oh come on slow poke, having trouble walking today?"
She was, in fact, spending a lot of time loosing her footing while running along the beach. It wasn't nearly as easy as Jun made it look. She laughed as she nearly whiped out again.
"Why don't you come back here and say that where I can reach you?"
Her tone was cheeky and teasing. She knew he wasn't gonna come over there and make this easier on her, so she began to run a little faster.

*He laughed and jogged backwards still. He keep up a pretty good pace going backwards. He watched her only bite it several times, which made him laugh all the more. He shook his head when she asked him to say it where she could reach him.*
"Ah now wheres the fun of making it easy on you?"
*He laughed and did not bother to turn around. He just picked up the pace and jogged backwards all the faster. He watched her wondering if she was going to be able to catch up with him, with him jogging like this. It would be funny if she could not. I mean she was trying so hard to catch him.*
Re: Stars and Sand (Jun) "Ah now wheres the fun of making it easy on you?"
Hawthorne chuckled right along with Jun. She expected as much from him. Though she must be quite a sight there, sliding along in the sand, running as fast as she could after the crazy backwards-running man.
"Do you want me to slow down a bit?"
"In your dreams, buster."
She was panting, it was hard to run along the sand, but she was enjoying herself. She was all flushed, with her hair mussed and blowing in the wind, not even noticing the fact that she was running around in a public place in a swimsuit, something she'd never do if she was aware of the fact. Despite the fact that her lungs were starting to pain her a little, she pushed a little harder, ran a little faster.

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
*He laughed all the more and if she had looked to his legs she would have noticed he was less of running backwards then jumping from foot to foot backwards. Each time he moved a foot he covered nearly four times the ground she was covering. Though his legs did not move no where nearly as fast. He was just keeping ahead of her as they moved.
He knew the ground on the beach liked to slide from beneath your feet as such he made so to dig his toes in deep before pushing off. This keep him from sliding around like she was. Though He woudl admit it was quite entrentaining watching her slide all over the place.*
"Ah well I guess you do not really want to catch me if that is all the effort you are going to make."
*His voice was taunting and made sure that she was knowing the fact that he beleived she had more in her. And that she was holding back.*
Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
She didn't know how he wasn't slipping all over the place like she was, but it was very frustrating. She couldn't seem to gain on him at all, and her side hurt, and her lungs were wheezing.
"Ah well I guess you do not really want to catch me if that is all the effort you are going to make."
She let out what appeared to be a low growl, deep in the back of her throat. She couldn't believe that he was taunting her again! It wasn't like she was in good shape or anything, maybe she didn't have anymore in her . . . Still, she tried.
Hawthorne made one more, last ditch plunge towards Jun-Bo. Unfortunately, her footing slid, sending her ploughing face first into the sand. She lay there for a minute, seriously wishing that the beach would just swallow her whole.

Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
*He smiled as she gave her last bit of effort to try and catch him. He watched her foot slip and nose dive the sand. He landed lightly sliding along the sand leaving two foot imprints that became lines as he slid. He looked down and smiled. He always loved that.
He then walked over to her as she laid there wish the beach would swallow her up. He kneels down next to here and ruffled her hair with a chuckle. He was waiting for her to reach out and grab him and say that she finnal got him. It was what most kids did when they got the chance. Wither they had just gotten hurt or not.
He figured she was alright, most likely just dazed and out of breath. He smiled as her rump was sticking up in the air more then the rest of her body. He chuckled lightly and reached out smacked it lightly.*
"I see you decided to show your rump off to the world after that gracefull dive."
*Yes he was still giving her a hard time. If she truely wanted to spend time with him, she would have to get use to him saying things that were unothordox.*
Re: Stars and Sand (Jun)
He ruffled her hair again, and she sighed into the sand, not quite ready to raise her head yet. She was biding her time, waiting to get him off his gaurd, maybe at least for one second. She wasn't as hurt as she had first thought, but she really wanted to catch him this time.
Then the worst possible thing in the world happened. Sure the touch was light, but it went through Hawthorne like a lightening-strike. And those words . . . an echo of the past. She jumped to her feet, staring at Jun-Bo in absolute horror, thoughts crowding her brain. So Hawthorne, showing off your body again? You're such a slut. No wonder I treat you like I do, it's for your own good. They only make bodies like yours to take abuse. Stupid girl, no one wants to see that.
She closed her eyes against the voices in her head. They were trying to take her by surprise, and she had them so neatly tucked away. Why did it have to be Jun-Bo? Why was it him that had woken them from their slumber?
She turned around and took off. Sure, she had just about run herself to exhaustion already, but this was different. With the voices chanting in her mind, she was running for her life. She tore up the beach, grabbing her towel and wrapping it around her as she went by. She didn't stop running, not even for a moment. The voices would catch her.
