Kobita wasn't really paying attention to there answers. He was busy watching the prospective quarrel down at the other side of the bar. "Alex...behind you." Kobita whispered.

"maybe we should stop them, I know you don't want to personally break anymore bones but I'd like to stop anything breaking all together."

"But I'm not..."

The curvacious girl poked her in between her eyes and Kanami flinched of course. It was no use trying to explain that she was/wasn't a stalker. But it was okay!

"I'm Kanami Miyamoto, 10th grader, investigator and reporter," the girl said so proudly. "And I can't drink heavy things. I get all loopy."

She took another sip of wine, the liquid warming her stomach.

Re: An unfinished vendetta!
I'm not in the mood to settle vendettas tonight; V straightens, slightly, at the sound of her name; an incurious glance, dropped when the bartender comes to refill Alex's drink. She slips a small envelope, tucked under her palm, across the counter; the bartender notices, and takes the scrap of paper.

"I see," she replies, to Alex's explanations; and then, she follows Kobita's pointing finger, to Kanami and Mitsuko. "They look familiar," she says, her voice distant with memory, or the lack thereof.

What they're doing doesn't constitute a problematic fight, however; not from V's perspective. Especially in a place like this, where rough and tumble, literally, means rough and tumble.

Mitsuko laughed, she was infront of a tender drinker. Only one way to change that was to build up and immunity. Mitsuko now grinning had thought of a funny idea.

"Why not try?, plus you need to get better at drinking if you wanna taste the good stuff"

"Good stuff?"

Kanami's eyes lit up at the idea. If there was anything more than gathering details, Kanami loves to broaden her understanding. How can there be other things better than wine? She smiled at the idea.

"I'd like to try!" The energetic girl replied. "What would be a good thing to try first?"

Re: re: An unfinished vendetta!
Alex looked over at the two girls. He knew them both, more personally and the other by reputation. The less attractive one, for lack of a better classification with a couple hours worth of alchool, was Kanami. She was an investigative journalist for the 'school paper'. He had looked into that and found out that the school didn't acctually have a paper as of yet. So, either she was making on or this was all just a scam.

The other girl was one he couldn't put a name on as of yet. He had seen her around school before, more so back when he first came to MHS. She had a reputation for getting around, though her mark seemed to be Rayd. In any case, she was a swinger and he was almost sure she would fuck Kanami if she could get her hands on her. Then again, from what he'd seen in the cafeteria, maybe that wasn't such a bad idea afterall?

Alex giggled in his mind as he felt the alchool catching up with him now. He certainly felt a little light-headed. As he caught his next drink he quickly gulpped it down and answered Genevieves request by getting up and walking over to the two ladies. If they were about to get into a cat fight, he sure wanted a front row seat.

"Hey Kanami!" he said, a little louder than the murmurs the crowd had settled to since he had come. "What's goin' on?

His glance quickly shifted from one girl to the other.

"And aren't you Rayd's chick?" he asked, only going by old memories.

The responce made Mitsuko smile, she looked at the barteneder and ordered a mix of drinks

"here finish mine, I wanna see how much you can take before actually getting loopy haha" Mitsuko handed the girl the Jack Daniels and smiled.

"Small sips in case you choke"

Mitsuko looked behind her, at the new comer.

"Yeah Thanks, I have a name and if you dont know it have no reason to talk to you"

Cold but it always made them want more...Idoit boys

Kanami looked at the drink with curiousity. Before she could raise it to her lips, Alex addressd her. She looked over at him and she lifted her hand in greeting.

"Not too much Alex," she replied cheerfully, "Just trying some new things."

The girl raised the glass and said, "Kampai!" She had no real clue what that meant, but she heard it all the time when her parents had relatives over and alcohol was served. She would always just raise her drink and repeat the word.

She took a small sip, just as Mitsuko instructed. She couldn't spit out in time, it was strong! How could she drink such things! Kanami coughed.

"What is this?"

Mitsuko laughed "Its a Semi-strong drink, well to me anyways, finish it in one gulp it wont be as rough"

Mitsuko asked the bartender for a shot of Vodka and waited for Kanami to finish the Jack.

"Common its not even that bad"

All Kobita could do as Alex approached was blink slowly. He didn't know what exactly Alex planned to do but he personally didn't want to be in the front row. Kobita's jaw dropped slightly as Alex spoke.

"Wow... what charming sentiment he gives there." Kobita mumbled to himself as Alex made a complete fool of himself. Kobita didn't know the girls name either, except he wasn't rude or drunk.

Kobita looked at V and shrugged. "Should we get him away from them before he makes a bigger fool of himself?"

Kobita looks at V and shrugs; V looks at Kobita and shrugs. The game of mirror is fun; and their colouring is similar, after all: gold and gold.

When Alex first got that look on his face, serious Genevieve had taken a step away from the bar. Now, she stands, hands clasped behind her back (and, not coincidentally, over her wallet; a pickpocket is making his way by the students), a little island of teenager.

The next question is musing : "Do you think he'd really like it if we stopped him from making a fool of himself?"

Kanami looked at the drink with an expression of determination. She can't go back on this drink now! Usually things could taste better on the second try. The girl gulped down the rest of the drink, trying not to show distate for it.

Nope, still doesn't taste good!

Kanami rests the empty glass on the bar counter and she glances at Mitsuko. There was already a touch of red across her face, a tell-tale sign of drunkeness. The liquid was heating up her stomach.

"Woah...what a rush..."

"Hey now, that's not very nice!" he said in reply to the girl's comment. "I don't know your name because you've been busy by what I hear."

The comment didn't sound harsh, nor would it really be. He had heard she was proud of her 'accomplishments', though he didn't want to see her being dragged home by a seven foot tall convict tonight. In any case, the shaman didn't like to be insulted like that, but it simply drove him to talk to Kanami more.

"You sure you know what you're getting into?" he queeried, knowing by one look of her reaction to the taste that she was a greenhorn.

Kanami swayed for a moment, but she forced herself to sit still. What a strange feeling she had, it was as if a translucent shroud covered her. Alex had spoken to her, and the girl shot him a grin.

"I'll be all right! If only we had some kareoke, this would be wicked awesome!" The last part was both a slur and her accent shining through.

She turned to Mitsuko, giving a thumbs up.

"Gimme something with a sweet-and-sour taste."

Mitsuko rolled her eyes and handed her the Vodka.

"Here just drink this in one gulp, then ill get you something with a sweet and sour taste, but lets take it slow just in case"

Mitsuko sipped another drink she ordered, Just some rum n' coke but it was good, the bar tender always knew what he was doing.

She looked over at Alex

"And you, Why are you still here? do you have any other business with her?"

Re: An unfinished vendetta!
Flojo came up to the shattered blessing, dressed in casual black for once, ready to take some time off for a drink. It wasn't that the Shattered Blessing was his idea of a nice bar; it was the fact that the boze was cheap. He had all the money he needed, but he still preferred the cheap stuff for some reason.

The bouncer moved out of Flojo's way when he came up to the building. He'd seen Flojo do things that he didn't want to be on the wrong end of. Flojo entered nonchalantly. Someone at the bar noticed him and gasped loudly and stared at him. Someone else looked, than another person. The bar emptied very quickly, all of the regulars leaving in haste.

Flojo grinned, wondering what the puzzled barkeeper thought. He was new since last time; he probably didn't know that whenever Flojo came in for a drink, he usually left the place in chaos. How could he help it if barfights always sparked around him?

The first thing he noticed was the larger than normal proportion of people obviously too young to drink. They must be Manga High students; this was the only bar in town that knew about MHS and would let them in. Probably out of fear.

Flojo noticed Alex, making a fool out of himself and obviously intoxicated. Perhaps he should interfere...? Alex was a friend, and he didn't want him to look like a total idiot. It was odd, though. Alex didn't seem like the type to get drunk; he'd always seemed more cautious than that. Flojo sat on a barstool near him, ordered a scotch, and waited to see how this would play out.

The shaman shot the other girla glance befire looking back to Kanami. The slut certainly had a tougne on her, but then again what girl like her didn't? He chuckled to himself before focusing on Manami once more. The girl seemed to be trying out new alchool, though not holding it very well. Most likely, the girl they had both met was trying to feed her more as a joke.

"Just watch how much you drink, Kanami." he said with shifty eyes.

"I'll be fine-fine, don't worry Alex."

Kanami looked between Alex and Mitsuko; looks like enemies in the making. Or had they already known each other before? It was getting harder to think and to focus.

The second drink arrived, a clear liquid in a small glass. Kanami poked it in wonder, what kind of water-looking drink was this? She lifted the litte glass and placed it to her lips for a sip.

"Gurk!"

Kanami coughed as a small amount burned her throat. And what the hell kind of taste was that!

Mitsuko shook her head with a grin on, she knew the taste was horrid but it did its job, and since they were in the bar with the oddly strongest drinks it was really gonna set in.

"Take it all in one gulp, nevermind the taste"

She pushed the glass back towards the other girl, and looked back at Alex, he was still standing there just looking.

"Yeah, she said shed be okay. Ill take care of her you CAN leave" Mitsuko said stressing the 'can' almost challenging him to stay, She focused a small ammout of plasma in her hand to further stress her point.

Re: An unfinished vendetta!
Alex completely ignored the girl. He was too fixated on the fact that Kanami was going to kill herself if she kept this up. Seeing a light-weight was all good in fun, but she could seriously hurt herself climbing the ladder like that. New bloods shouldn't tackle the hard stuff so quickly. The other girl was going to waste her completely. He then seized his chance to ultimately take a silver bullet for the girl. He quickly sntached up the shot glass and downed the drink. It burned on the way down, though that was normal. He then felt a shock to his system as he became slightly more light headed. It felt good and his grin became slightly wider.

"There...Nothing to worry about now!" he declared, putting one foot up onto a bar stool and pointing into the air for no real apparent reason.
