Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Kobita wasn't quite having Flojo's luck. Kobita rolled forward after the blow and quickly got to a crouched position. "Ow..." Kobita said rubbing his back. Another lead pipe came around at his head from behind him and his metal arm was quickly raised to block. The clanging sound of metal on metal was heard as Kobita rolled backward from the force. Another weapon of some sort came from infront of him, sweeping out his legs. Kobita fell forward on his stomach and quickly rolled away as the lead pipe descended on him.
A large foot planted itself into Kobita's rolling chest and he went flying into the wall. Kobita slowly got to his feet and looked at the crate next to him smiling. He reached inside and felt something cylindrical and rough. "OOH you guys are gonna get it now." Kobita grabbed hold of the object and yanked out a cylindrical loaf of bread. "You gotta be kidding me..." Kobita groaned to himself, ducking out of the way of a lead pipe.
Kobita got low under the swing and pushed up with his legs. Kobita grabbed the bread and shoved it in the large gangster's mouth. A gagging sound was heard and a metal fist lodged itself in the man's stomach. The man fell over, the wind thouroughly knocked from him. Kobita wrenched the lead pipe from his hand and smiled. "Ok now its more fair." the remaining thugs bored down on him.

Re: An unfinished vendetta!
Flojo wasn't exactly having an excellent time, with four guys ganging up on him. He spun around to try to run, and found another guy with a bat behind him. This was just excellent. Well, maybe they could escape with a distraction...
Flojo had an idea. It was so crazy that it just might work.
He teleported out of the bar, to the parking lot, and hoped Kobita could hold the guys until he opened up an escape route. Flojo first ran over to the side of the building, made a ki katana, and sliced through the power connections, blanketing the building in darkness. He then ran into the parking lot, pulling a remote out of his pocket.
After two beeps, the door of the Ferrari in the lot opened up. It was Ren's car; Flojo had only borrowed it because Ren had borrowed his motorcycle earlier to "impress a chick". As if a Ferrari couldn't do that. He started the engine and drove up, pulling up in front of the bar. He popped open the trunk, and walked around to pull the lid off of a box there, exposing something Ren had bought a week earlier: a Stinger missile launcher.
Re: An unfinished vendetta!
The boys: chaos and mayhem!
The girls: coffee and, well, no chaos. Girls mature more quickly; isn't that what they say?
Inside, Pete's coffee is a generously proportioned little coffee dive; a few booths, a very few tables, moulded ceilings with beams alternately low and high, and a little counter-top for orders, where a blue-haired boy with glasses waits, an ipod in one ear. When Mitsuko suggests she and Kanami (who is still draped over Mitsuko) get a table, the lovely, golden haired teenager nods. Again, so slightly; you'd think she really was royalty, some alien creature from a world of etiquette.
"That's generous of you," she replies, and attempts to coax Kanami into a seat by the window. V wants to be able to see the street; and, indeed, the girls can recognize a few of the patrons of The Shattered (<--key word?) Blessing fleeing the scene of the crime.
Re: An unfinished vendetta!
The two titans quickly rushed eachother once more. Swing after swing, Alex ducked and weaved like monkey playing games as Giovanni tried to use his overwhelming strength to crush the brat. After more than a few punches were thrown, Alex lashed out himself with a stab with his staff. The italian was sharp, though, and he leaned to the side to that the staff went right past his head. He then grabbed it and swung to around, sending Alex flying into the car he had once been hiding behind. The dent was large and Alex's grunt from the pain was easily heard over the sounds of battle. The shaman was slumped down against the car now as he attempted to recover from the loss of his breath.
Givanni smiled and took this opportunity to try and finish the bout. He held his gun arm high and steadied it so that the shots would be more accurate. Alex quickly came to and saw the barrel pointed straight at him with the signs of death looming over him. Quickly rolling out of the way, the gun was fired and ripped the car apart this time. It was heavily damaged and stood no chance to the power of the M60. The gunfire was then ran across the car as Alex moved away. Unfortunately for the shaman, a stray bullet knocked into the gas tank of the car and it went up in flames. The force of the explosion threw the shaman to the ground and surprised the mountain fo a man into halting his fire. Alex slowly made it to his feet, though with the punishment he was recieving he wasn't sure how long he'd last.

Re: An unfinished vendetta!
Whether for good or ill, Flojo had absolutely no idea how to use a rocket laucher. Besides, that was for Clay, and Clay only. He dug through the box, pulling things out and throwing them in other parts of the trunk outside the box.
An uzi. Three copies of Shonen Jump. Two moldy Chinese food containers. A t-shirt. A brown paper bag that contained something that started moving when Flojo picked it up. What the hell was wrong with Ren? Who keeps this kind of stuff in their trunk?
Finally, Flojo found what he was looking for, something he actually knew how to use, too. A small box labelled "DANGER - GRENADES". He opened the lid, and examined its contents. There were a number of grenades inside, and Flojo quickly found the ones he wanted: two long, cylindrical grenades labelled "FLASHBANG".
He closed the trunk, putting one of the grenades in a cargo pocket of his pants and holding the other one, moving slowly toward the eight thugs who, missing Flojo, had made Kobita their target. He pulled the pin, and threw the grenade at them.
(OOC: For those who are not familiar with its effects, the flashbang grenade is nonlethal and produces a very bright flash and a loud bang. The flash temporarily blinds anyone who's looking at it, and the bang interferes with hearing, causing the victim to hear nothing but ringing in his/her ears. In addition, the bang messes up inner ear fluids, causing complete loss of balance and orientation. THe effects last anywhere from a few seconds to nearly a minute, depending on your proximity to the bomb; I'll let Kobita pick where it detonates and who gets affected in the bar.)
Re: An unfinished vendetta!
Kobita saw Flojo dissapear and his jaw dropped. "He...hey, where'd you go...? Ack!" Kobita swiftly ducked under what looked remarkably like a tree trunk and rolled away. Kobita didn't like the odds before...and now 7 against 1 wasn't his idea of a fair fight.
Kobita readied the lead pipe infront of him in his right hand, much like a fencer would. Now he had a weapon, the thugs lost the only advantage they had. One of the bigger and brainless ones rushed Kobita, the boy parried the wooden bat, leaning to the side and using the man's momentum to keep him going straight into the ground.
The sound of the man skidding across the gravel echoed as the other six rushed at him. Kobita moved quickly, dodging and parrying the blows affectively, praying that Flojo would magically reappear and kill them all. The clanging of metal rang twice through the street, the boy's pipe was hit so hard it bent, throughly useless. Kobita's right arm flew up to defend himself from another bat, the clanging echoing the second time.
A loud crack was heard in contrast to the metal clanging. The earlier downed thug connected squarely with the boys back, sending him flying through the air. Kobita hit the ground roughly and continued on to a mixture of bouncing and skidding.
Kobita slowly got up as he saw a cylindrical object fly over his head. He knew that design, he knew many people back home who specialized in using equipment like that to produce the sound for them. It was an effective technique for lower grade grenades, but these would really screw up someones sense of hearing. Kobita could have that.
The boy quickly sprang to his feet, running with all his genetic enhancements could push him. He moved somewhat slower than he would with the growing welt on his back, yet he moved faster than the thing was thrown. Kobita heard the grenade land by the feet of the thugs as he leaped. Kobita landed on the hood of the ferarri, bouncing and landing behind it just as the grenade went off.

Re: An unfinished vendetta!
Flojo ran after he threw the grenade, jumping and flipping over the top of Ren's car, landing on the other side, and immediately saw Kobita slide in next to him off the hood.
"Stay here," Flojo told Kobita, and element of command in his voice. He teleported over to the thugs and quickly took them out. They couldn't see or hear, or even stand up, so they were no trouble at all. He began delivering knockout blows; he preferred to use the neck for that. He knew other ways, but for some reason preffered a quick chop.
One, two, three, four, five, six chops. Wait. Six? There were seven guys. Flojo spun and saw the seventh emerge from behind a nearby pickup truck, holding a gun. Flojo didn't know what kind; he didn't know much about guns at all, except that getting shot was not a pleasant experience. As the man fired his machine gun, Flojo ran, throwing up a ki shield to shield the left side of his body from the bullets. The shield wasn't quite strong enough to stop bullets, but it did slow them down significantly, so they only hurt like hell and caused a little bleeding when they hit. He dove behind the Ferrari, and looked a Kobita.
"I took six out," Flojo began, "the seventh got away. He's got a machine gun now," Flojo said unnecesarily as a stream of fire came over the top of the car.
Re: An unfinished vendetta!
Alex almost got flatened again as Giovanni tried to crush him with a punch. The shaman rolled backwards into a standing position and then kicked out. The satisfying smash of his foot breaking the italian's jaw. Giovanni quickly stummbled back, holding his left cheek in pain. Blod was leaking out from his teeth, trickling down the corners of his mouth. A smirk was still on his face, though, which was unsettling. Alex quickly hopped backwards, waiting for his attacker to come at him.
Giovanni complied easily by charging forth with a bullrush attack. He was an unstoppable force, though not undodgable. The shaman flipped backwards, letting the man attack at him in futility. The fight was starting to get further and further away from the bar and more into downtown. As the two got to the next block, giovanni smashed his gunarm into a car and fired. The engine blew up and knocked the man backwards into Alex, who was now in the air. With two kicks in the face, the italian toppled over to let Alex land on him hard and flip back off. Now the tables had turned and Alex was going to take advantage of it.

Re: An unfinished vendetta!
Kobita nodded as Flojo spoke. He knew how to handle bullets and guns. Kobita rubbed the sore spot on his back once more and bent his legs. The small boy launched into the air, his hands placed out infront of him.
The man raised the barrel to meet him and Kobita's fingers went into a frenzy. The boy was creating multiple soundwaves and sent them hurtling at the man. The bullets themselves were nulled by the multitude of the waves and fell harmlessly to the ground as the barrage blew the man back into the wall.
Kobita landed softly on the ground, his body quivering from the exertion. Combined with now gigantic welt on his back, the boy didn't have much steam left. Kobita rocked back onto his bottom as he looked back at Flojo, and huge grin on his face. "Got Him!"

Re: An unfinished vendetta!
"Nice work," Flojo replied, "now, we help Alex. He was drunk in the bar; I doubt he's doing well against that Scarface guy."
Flojo stood up and scanned the area with his ki, looking for Alex. He found him, in another part of the parking lot, than an explosion sounded. Parts of a car flew up into the air. More machine gun fire. That wasn't good.
Flojo ran toward the fight, jumping on top of the first car he came to and leaping nimbly until he was hiding behind a pickup truck near the Italian dude. He pulled out the second flashbang grenade and hoped Alex would move out of the way. Pulling the pin, he tossed it in the mobster's direction.
Mitsuko sits down next to the still shakey girl, she'd never really been one to stick arround people like this for many reasons but mostly they annoyed her. V and Kanami weren't surprisingly.
"Just oder what you want, Ill take the bill. But aside from that i dont ever recall seeing you in the school V. who were you trying to hide from?" Mitsuko smiled and half winked.
Hopfully V really wasnt hiding from someone that wad hunting her or something or this could get ackward.
Re: An unfinished vendetta!
The words "hide" perked the girl's interest for a moment, and Kanami seemed instantly normal. A quick recovery!
"Oh? Hiding out! From what? Are you a sort of refugee from the Mafia or a secret agent? You don't seem to be the type to be involved in that sort of thing and I haven't found out too much of you but I will eventually-ohhh.."
The girl's head plopped back down to the table, another wavering headache. The smell of coffee wasn't helping. All she wanted (and ordered) was a muffin and a cup of coffee. No milk, no cream, just sugar.
Re: An unfinished vendetta!
Mitsuko half-winks, and smiles; V, so courteous and cool, doesn't seem offended by the question. Before she can answer, Kanami pops up from the table; it's actually rather frightening. V stares at her. Night of the living dead!
"Ah; not quite," she says.
And then Kanami's head hits the table with a thunk. V looks at Mitsuko; shrugs, slightly. Economy of motion; frighteningly elegant.
"An irish hot cider. With lots of whipped cream."
The [very male] coffee server who has been taking all this down and gawking at Mitsuko gawks again and then goes to start making the drinks.
"I don't know why we haven't run into each other before. Do you live on campus?"
Re: An unfinished vendetta!
Mitsuko smiled at the waiter, she was used to being stared at by now but it still made her smile how simple minded the boys were still.
"I used to live on campus but now i live with a friend...a girl in case your wondering that too" She smiled sweetly after answering.
"But aside from that im always at the school, somethings always happening there so its fun to stay there, but it is werid that we havent met. But then again" Mitsuko poked the girl sitting beside her.
Re: An unfinished vendetta!
Givanni was surprisingly fast for such a large man. It was apparent in how quickly he got up from the counterattack Alex had just made. The italian looked liek a raging bull with his eyes showing a fiery hatred for the cocky child. Soon the beat of the war would be pounding inside Giovanni, waiting to be unleashed. Alex was simply on guard, waiting for the next attack. He felt so helpless without Kagomi by his side. His one true advantage was gone and now it would be a matter of luck if he survived this encounter.
Just then, Giovanni charged forth with his head tilted forwards like a bull rushing the matador. Alex's eyes went wide, not expecting such a mad rush with the ferocity the rushing man had within him. His head struck Alex's chest like a wrecking ball, knocking the wind completely out of him. He was sure something inside him was bruised as well when a splatter of blood flew from his mouth and dotted the italian's back. The charge then continued as all Alex could do was hang on for dear life. The two crossed the street and crashed through the wall of the building infront of them. The dust from the cinder filled the air and the only thing audible was the yelp of pain Alex gave as they both went through the wall.
As the dust settled, the image of Giovanni with a bleeding head could be seen, breathing heavily and looking at a downed Alex. The boy was as still as a statue, breathing in very shallow gasps. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth like a river and his stomach looked to be torn up. His back was riddle with small cuts from the brick and his shirt was just torn to shreads. The two needed a small window to breath, but the battle would undoubtebly continue after a small repose. It was evident they were out for blood, but more than that, they wanted the other to stay down for good.
"Then again, wouldn't you thinking already be thought out, so that your thinking is involved in what you'll do? So that means if you didn't think then you wouldn't get to the same conclusion as you would if you thought about it, right? Oh well, best not to think about thinking about thinking, you think so? Well, I still say not thinking is the best way to think!" -Alex Summers, thinking about thinking
