We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Like Vash, Rayd was also supposed to be in with the Seniors. It didn't bother Rayd too much that he wasn't though. Rayd was smart, he always had been since he was that nerdy kid years ago. Always far ahead of the rest of his class. All that changed though when he ran away from home... That was when he stopped going to school, missing out on four years worth. Rayd figured that if he got as much education as he probably could, it would benefit him more. So he decided to be a Junior. It was also good because there weren't really many seniors he was familiar with.
He looked up to the stage and looked at the various teachers and the principle, a grin on his face as he ran his fingers through his hair. Rayd was eager to see what kind of stuff they would be teaching him and if he could fly through the class as he did years before. Though, as expected, Power Control was the one he looked forward to the most.

Mimiru didn't know what to think or to feel. It being her first time in a real school, everything that was happening was going at an almost blinding speed.
*I am supposed to be in Grade 12, or a senior as I believe Americans put it. My name was mistakenly put in the junior's listings. I do hope it is fixed swiftly.*
She nodded, the knowledge that she was not the only one to make mistakes helping to relax her. She smiled slightly at him in understanding," I can see why that would be of importance. Having friends there to help you is always a plus when you need it."
*It's not that I want to be with all my friends, but I want to be challenged rather than do work I have already passed through.*
She could sympathize with that, though she had never had a real friend, persay.
The school was so huge and had so many students, all of whom were telegraphing very strong emotions. She had never had to guard her mind against so many and, being the empath she was, the emotions she was intercepting beat at her mind block relentlessly.
She closed her eyes momentarily against the pain, pressing the heels of her hands to her head as a soft moan escaped her lips before she could stop it.

"Is something the matter, Mimiru?" Vash asked as she saw the girl was having some difficulties.
He didn't exactly know what her powers were, but he had an idea that that was the cause of her stress. People around here generally came to the school to control their powers. Maybe she had some sort of complication with hers? This didn't sit well with the dunpeal, especially since he had no clue what her abilities presented to his level of safety. He fidgeted slightly and then pressed his question again.
"Do you need to go to the nurse's office? I am sure the aids would be more than enough to assist you."

Genevieve watches the parade of teachers, opaque of glance, although the line of her throat and the cant of her head is inquisitive. While Amber's tiny wings settle and ruffle, Genevieve rests her elbows on her knees (which are pressed together, and angled slightly to the right) and laces her fingers together asymmetrically, to rest her chin on.
V's curiosity has a purpose, because, perhaps the teachers will show some clue which will tell her why, at this crucial time of her life, just why ...
Man, how old are these female teachers. That can't be no more than 25.
Suddenly, feet on the chair just next to her. Shiny, white sneakers; but still, feet. V looks over at the tennis shoes for a heartbeat, and then stirs to glance over her shoulder (inscrutably) at X-Oshi. Then she turns back to the stage as Shalamar enters, attentive.

Amber watched as the teachers made their entrance. The two female teachers were quite pretty and the winged girl was amazed of how young they were, a thought shared by many students in the auditorium. Then it was the kind nurse who she had visited many occasions before the term had even started.
Next the principal walked, down the aisle and gazing over his students. When his gaze passes over her, she returns with a slight smile. She had never had a chance to really see him before, but he was pretty much what she have expected him to be. Her gaze then turns to the stage again, cathcing a glimpse of the most relaxed of the teachers. She had to admit, he was quite attractive and she had to hide her blushing.
Amber glanced over at V and X-oshi.
"They're not what I had expected," she whispered to both of them.

X-oshi looks tilts his head forwards slightly to see the winged girl. Speaking to him or her... he was not sure. Looking just past the other cute girl next to him. X-oshi whispers back and
"Pish Posh, back in my day we didn't have teachers, or so to say our parents wer our teachers and if we jack up, man... you be expect it coming. The would put fire into your backside!!!" X-oshi put his arms out and brings them in pointing to his chest.
"But that was back in my day."
X-oshi finishes with a slight laugh to himself. Because of the stupid joke he said off the top of his head.
The girls behind X-oshi starts giggling once more behind him.
X-oshi then leans his back in his seat once more.Deeply contemplating to himself...
"You know what Amber, X-oshi says a bit out loud, where were the teachers when that crazy mess went down at the auditorium. I mean I understand that they got there lives and all, but GIANT DEMON at a SCHOOL full of STUDENTS...if the teachers a mighty powerful how come they didn't show up or fight?"
X-oshi puts his feet of the back of the chair and leaning forward, swing his feet around to face both girls, who X-oshi might say were looking pretty good.
"You know I ain't trying to instigate nothing but, it makes you think."

Mimiru shook her head, mentally kicking herself for her display of weakness. She looked up at him and smiled, her hands begining a circular motion around her temples as she tried to sit up," No, it's just....nothing. I'm ok."

She looked at him again and saw, as well as felt, his concern; but it was tinged with his uneasiness. She noticed his fidgeting and gently probed his mind. She knew he feared for his safety and sought to comfort him.
" You worry too much," she said as she reached out to lay her hand on his knee, giving him a smile and a reassuring shake," I'll be ok. My powers are no threat to anyone. I'm empathic, that's all," she winced a little as a barrage of emotions pierced her mind," I am able to feel the emotions of any person within a close vicinity. It's just that I've never really had to protect myself from so many people before." She gave a little sigh," It's just a little uncomfortable, is all. But I will have to learn to do it some time or another, right?"
Mimiru wasn't sure if she had qwelled his fears, but she thought if she could get him talking about something else, maybe that would work. She sat back and playfully gave him a stern look," Well, you have gotten me talking all about myself and you haven't said a word," she smiled," So....? What can you do?"

Vash simply adjusted his hat, letting it overshadow his face a little more. His 'powers' weren't exactly that. His sword held most of his power and the feats of speed and strength he performed were simply from practice coupled with a natural aptitude. He had worked to develop his powers and thus they were nothing extraordinary to him. The only thing he was shy about was his blood rage, whihc he wouldn't mention unless absolutely nessesary.

Amber shrugged at X-oshi's words. The strange things that happened here mirrored what she had to deal with back in LA. When one always manages to run into strange people, people who vanish or met into the shadows...it becomes a normal routine. What a depressing thought.

Shiro had blended in to the crowd for most of the time. He had even managed to make ten bucks out of bordom. A smile appeared on his face as he thought about the random person he had borrowed from. Instead of sitting down with most of the other people in the auditorium, Shiro decided that he would sit alone like he normally would. Although some would be glad to have his presence around he decided that he would sit in the back away from the commotion.

All at once, Mimiru was hit by a wave of embarrassment and shame; a feeling of inadequacy, but it wasn't her own. As she watched Vash's gaze drop and then disappear alltogether beneath his brim, she knew it was his.

Her heart went out to him, wanting to comfort him but unsure on how to do it. Her pain was forgotten as his flooded her mind, seeping into its core and leaving a brand that would be impossible to remove. But there was something else:

She smiled at him even though he couldn't see it," Wow, I wish I had that kind of determination. It would be such a blessing, but," she reached up with her hand, pushing the brim of his hat up as she bent down so she could look into his eyes," I would never let anyone, muchless myself, make me feel less than I am." She pushed the hat's brim up a little further," I would never let that hard work, all the hard earned abilities I gained, go to wast," she smiled again, her eyes searching," Would you?"

Her actions were starting to make him paranoid. She was probing at something he didn't like talking about, much less admit to it. She then had even dared so far as to push his hat up. With every word he visibly sank into his seat, feeling more and mroe cornered. Panic was overtaking him, yet he kept a collected face about him. She was now lifting the shadow from his face and it bothered him beyond belief. It was almost as if he was screaming in his mind for her to stop. He then grabbed her hand and stopped it from raising his hat any further and pushed it back down so his whole face was overshadowed once again.
"I do not waste my talents, but that is too much for you to know, my dear." he said as both his canine teeth gleamed at her, looking slightly longer than before she had touched his hat.
He then set her hand onto her own lap, patted it a few times and then let it go. His true identity was something few were allowed to know. If she got involved, then it would be like Gerry's Diner all over again. He didn't want that to happen, he had already failed once. Those poor people, they had no idea what they had gotten themselves into and weren't even responcible for getting into that position in the first place. He had sworn to help defeat the triple C after that, and would help Yakoutio achieve his goal if it even ment going along with them. Anything was better than his tortured soul being cast upon the humans to kill them one by one because of his mistakes. A slight ping of sadness then creeped up on him, but was quickly tossed aside as he regained control of his emotions around the empathist.

V nods, in assent; she agrees with Amber's answer for X-Oshi's remark. "Yes; that would make sense. There are so many demons running wild in the woods. I wonder if that's why this school was placed here?"
At the word demon, she finds herself glancing around for Vash. Reflex. Look - he was patting a girls hand! V's gaze slips from that innocent gesture, to Amber; but she hasn't seen.

Mimiru felt the panic well up inside of Vash a moment before his fingers wrapped around her wrist. His grip was like a vise, strong and unbreakable. A soft but sharp intake of breath was drawn at its pressure.

She saw his fangs and frowned, retaliating with a show of her own as she motioned to where he held her," Do not think to intimidate me, Vash." Her fangs shortened and her face softened," I am sorry if I offended you. I feel as though we are already friends and only sought to help."

She nodded her acceptance, noticing that his grip had lessend," Very well. I'll leave it alone for now." She smiled as he place her hand in her lap and patted it," I hope that you will be able to trust me in time."
All at once, something else entered her mind. She wasn't sure what it was, but it made her look around to find its source. A girl's face caught her eye.
**I wonder why she's staring at us....?**
She wasn't sure on what she was supposed to do....
....so she waved.
With a smile at the girl, she turns back to Vash, gently nudging him in the side to get his attention," Hey, do you know those girls over there? One of them keeps looking over here."

Vash immediately looked back to see Genevieve starring at them with a strange look on her face. The hunter almost matched it as he wondered what exactly she was starring at them for. It didn't bother him for long, though, as he saw Amber and Shiro sitting with her. Three people he knew and would most likely have some thoughts as to what was going on here. He gave a quick wave and then looked back at Mimiru.
"Come, I shall introduce you to my friends." he said as he got up slowly and walked over to the other three.

Ack, they're both looking this way! V's cheeks heat, involuntarily, and she nods - just faintly. Proud, royal type, after all, always self contained and self assured.
"Look," she says, quietly, to Amber and X-oshi. Her voice is so calm, so smooth; like silver and cream. "Vash and a girl I haven't seen before are coming over."

Sakura was still fidiling with her pda, Aine and her im's, she is bored when my brother was gone. She looks around and notices that its starting to get crowded, she notices V, Amber, Shiro, and that @#%$ Vash. She was really looking forward to seing Alex. Or maybe Karrody.

"...girl?" Amber's voice made a fluctuation of worry, even her wings made a slight droop. Vash and an unknown girl? Amber did not want to look over to them just yet, instead bowing her head and allowed herself to collect her thoughts and her composure again.
You worry too much. Remember last time? It was nothing.
"Ah...wonderful," she said in a soft voice and looking up at V again with a smile. "More people to meet, ne?"
