Re: All new everything
She was surprised when she saw the little group from earlier in the distance. She smiled slightly once they came into view as she adjusted her glasses.

"When you go in, the first door to the right is where you'd want to go. Don't worry, they'll be able to give you a room as soon as possible, if not come back and let us know. We'll figure something out."

Although the girl's back was turned, she felt those words of advice were for her as well. She nodded as if to say thanks, even if she couldn't see her. She then opened the door and went inside the main office. Looking for the first door to the right, she turned her head in that direction and noticed it right away. She then opened the door and went inside.

She recalled from her research about the dorms that there were five floors, she wondered where she'd be as she approached the desk and began to fill out the neccessary papers and apply for a dorm room, it seemed floor two, room thirteen would be hers. She then brough the rest of the papers over to a chair on the side and sat down filling them out.

Polaris.

The girl (implausible: such a radiant gold) glances at Amber, a silent query, and then at Darrien's ostentatious wink her gaze goes back to him. Classic anime moment of " . . . " And then Amber leads the cute silverhaired girl and the rainbow haired boy and V to the offices. V, although not talkative by any stretch of the imagination, adds a few comments to Amber's brief walking tour. For instance, on the subject of the hot springs: "It's co-ed. That means boys and girls. You might want to remember your bathing suit." When they're closer to the offices: "The school nurse's office is around the corner."

Some things are important to know at school. The nurse's office is one of them.

But otherwise, she's quiet -- it suits her style more. Listener. Once the group stops outside the offices proper--and, look, there's that other new student, the one who was behind her earlier and passed their little group--V glances into the office once, and then away. Leans her back against the wall, and glances up, at the overhang and a cobweb in the corner, coupled with some graffiti. Mai is Hottttt. Plus a suspicious splatter.

Re: All new everything
Listening to the girl named Amber, Nyoko nodded slowly and followed, carrying her small duffle bag over her shoulder. The group around her was still as talkative as ever and she was just starting to be able to distinguish their voices. Darrien's was easy for he was a guy. His voice was deep, but had a smooth feeling to it. Amber and V were harder to tell apart. Not because their voices sounded alike, but because both their voices were different from her mother's and for that reason, they were identified together. But as the tour went on, their voices slowly grew apart to the point where Nyoko could tell the difference near perfectly.

As they walked, Nyoko looked at the places of interests she was told about, awed and amazed on how different everything was compared to home. The style was different, the halls were different, and even the feel was different. It was all a bit much for the girl to take in and she even started to feel a little dizzy. But she dealt with it during the tour, not telling anyone that she was started to feel a bit weird.

Then, once they made it to the main office, which was Nyoko's supposed destination, she stated to feel worst. The bombardment of new things forcing their way into her kind so quickly was alot for the girl and she wasn’t feel all that up to anything. She held her head, rubbing it slightly as she dropped her duffle bag. But the pain and weird feelings wouldn't go away. They stayed and it grew harder and harder to bear. "M-my...head..h-hurts..." She muttered out pitifully, swaying a bit and almost falling to the ground.

When they were walking along, Darrien noticed the new girl was looking more and more drained. He tried to keep an eye on her while following Amber and V as closely as he could, just in case she took a turn for the worse. When they got to the main office, Darrien took a look at the forms and things new students would need to fill out and sighed. "That'll take me all day." he whined to no one in particular.

Then, just when he had taken his watchful eye away from her, Nyoko started to waver as if she was going to pass out. Sliding with grace and determination, he got an arm behind her to brace her if she fell back. "You alright there little one?" he asked in the calmest voice he could muster. He remained positioned close enough to catch her if she couldn't regain her balance. Passing the nurse's office may have been a great idea, now he knew where to take the girl if she were to fall ill.

Quickly Amber pressed her fingers to Nyoko's forehead. Was she sick, or maybe she was overloaded? It would be possible, being that it was the first day of school and the first day alone (well maybe not so much...), it could get a little confusing. Amber withdrew her hand and gave the girl a worried stare.

"Ah are you going to be okay Nyoko?"

And yes, very lucky that the Healer's place wasn't too far off, depedning on Nyoko's condition. If she was able to stand, Amber considered maybe walking her through it. She remembered the process and she was sure there had been no major changes...

Re: All new everything
Although she doesn't say anything (there's no need to; Darrien and Amber have all bases covered) like 'are you all right?' or 'do you feel ill?' she does stop. Then shift position, quietly, so that instead of angling toward the main office, they're angling toward the healer's ward instead; if it looks to be necessary, V will go ahead. Sometimes, there's quite a line in the healer's ward, as boys and girls with an average day's dose of physical injuries trickle in and wait for Aoi Hanabishi.

ooc: short post, sorry!
