Vash kept walking towards the door as Amber made herself mroe comfortable in his arms. He smiled to himself as that nice, warm feeling overtook him. Was this why humans always scrambled around, searching for someone to be with? Was this truly love? He wasn't even sure if he'd ever know, but he felt good and that's all that mattered.
"Vash, about earlier..." Amber gently uttered. "I meant every word, every gesture. Okay?"
"I know" he replied in a simple manner. "Though, that is to say, I am sure we both feel the same way."
Again, the smile showed itself below the shadows of the hat. He lent over quickly and kissed her on the forehead, another geature of affection to reaffirm his feelings. His eyes then came back up and trained themselves on getting back to Amber's room. His destination was still a good distance away. As much as she seemed to enjoy simply drifting off in his arms, he was sure a bed would be more comfortable. So the scene went quiet except for the echoing steps of someone walking off intot he distance.
