Merlin Santana will be missed
He was a very attractive man. Physically, he was my ideal man. He was very talented and accomplished alot at a young age. He will definitely be missed. We all should keep in mind that everything happens for a reason and every event has its season. We should begin to love life and each other. Life is too precious and you never know when you are going to be called home.
May peace be with everyone. I would like to send my condolences out to the family and friends of Merlin Santana. May God Bless Us All!!!

I heard that this incident was female related. He had met some chick at a club he was at and was gonna meet her at the place he was parked. Isnt that crazy!! She was probably tryin to get her creep on and her jealous boyfriend went crazy. I cant believe that people are still doin stupid stuff like this. Who do people think they are to play God now? I hope that whoever did this gets caught and killed. I think if the system was eye for an eye people would think about what they did a little more. His mother got him into acting to keep him off the streets of New York which unfortunatly brought him to the streets of Cali where he was killed. I cant even believe it. When are we gonna stop doin this to ourselves black people? Theres enough bs goin on you know!! RIP Merlin Santana You will truly be missed!
That is not what happened
Please before you start spreading rumors about Merlin's death, make sure you have the truth. His people whom are my relatives are not "gangbangers" and that is not why he was shot. He was shot over something that was so stupid and out of respect for him and his family and friends I will not disclose why he was killed. The people that are suppose to know what happened do and I will leave it that way. So please out of respect do not start spreading rumors that are not true. Rest in peace and my prayers go out to you and you family Merlin. We love you.

Yes, Merlin Santana is the guy from The Steve Harvey Show. But unfortunately Merlin Santana was killed on Saturday, November 9, 2002. I am not sure of the details. I heard about it on the radio. I feel so sad for his family. He had such a promising career. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

Our young people and people in general must understand that a bullet does not have a name on it. A bullet does not discriminate. A bullet does not care if you're famous or not. When associating yourself with a gang or just hanging out w/ your "peeps" who may be gangbangers or cool, you open yourself up to becoming a victim. Sure a gangbanger will tell you "You my family and I'll go down for you" BUT......when it's all said and done and it really comes down to it....you or them.... you better believe they're going to watch out for self. Ask yourself why is it that this person wasn't caught? Why is it that there is no description of the shooter? Wasn't one of his "peeps" or "boys" w/him? Young America open up your eyes and realize that you don't have to be the next victim. It wasn't that Merlin was at the wrong place at the wrong time....It was he was guilty of association.

ill miss you merlin
im still in shock. its like my heart dropped a thousands stories down into nothing. he was so young and beautiful and talented. he was gonna make it to the big time. his star was so bright. whoever took him away from us will be dealt with by a higher power. but i know hes watching down on all his fans and the people who loved him. hes our latin angel rapping down on us from heaven. we love you merlin santana! always and forever.

Why can't the violence end? why do we have to keep killing each other. I cannot believe that Merlin Santana is dead. I am so sad and depressed. I have been in love with this boy from The Cosby Show to Moesha, and his starring role as Romeo on the Steve harvey show. I don't know what 2 do, I just found out this morning and I have been in a daze all day. I wanted 2 meet him, I miss him terribly, what is wrong with the people in this world, why would someone want 2 kill this young man? He had so many things goin 4 him. It is such a shame that this senseless act had 2 happen. I will always remain ur numba 1 fan Merlin, rest in peace baby. May god rest ur soul, and my prayers and condolences go out 2 the whole Santana family.

Not Another One Gone! Miss you, Merlin!
You never realize how short life is until the people around you (directly or indirectly) start to leave you. I had the biggest crush on Merlin Santana ever since he played Stanley on The Cosby Show... then he grew up, WOW. He was also an excellent actor. I really enjoyed him in his craft. Not only was he a great and funny actor, he was about to blow up on the rap scene too. He was on the Wendy Williams' Experience doing his thing (Yeah, your song was tight, Boo!)
How is it that people can be so evil and just take a life with no regard to how others will be affected? I can't understand that.
My prayers and condolences go out to your baby girl, family, friends, and fans. May God Bless your family in this time of tragic and senseless loss.
People out there remember, live life to its fullest and be thankful not just for each day but for every breath.
