Ruglan wraps a small piece of cloth torn from his clothing around his left forearm and starts off towards Atan. "Don't forget.. we have equipment in that farmhouse."

Sangraal moves up to Atan and speaks to him in a hushed voice.
"One of your Breathren is dead, the other will die soon if we do not get him to shelter. Targa said that you three might be the last of the Merek. If Yimris perishes and you die needlessly, then the way of the Merek could very well die to. You carry more then just grief and anger now. Put them aside, we need you to guide us and protect us from ambush."
[Sangraal retrieves his pack form the house, as well as the cooked pig. We might as well have a hot dinner for tonight. Nothing like bringing news of victory and roasted pig back to the village. Anybody want to help? Sangraal also checks to make sure the scroll is still secure on him.]

"I'll grab the stuff." Kezib yells as he runs into the house avoiding the broo corpses, pausing a second to stare down at the one that he killed.
Fortunately for Kezib there is no sense of remorse for doing what he had to do, also, he is not filled with blood lust. Complete peace is what he feels.
"Thank you, Yelm, for granting me peace in a tumultuious time in my heart" Kezib says in prayer.

[Sangraal will certainly need help carrying the pig. He's still badly wounded. Also, the pig is barely cooked. It was only roasting for about an hour.]

[No need to waste the pig! Sangraal will hold onto his last 1st level spell incase Yimris needs it. I have zero level spells that I can cast but they won't do much.]

Atan the broo hatin' man
Meneloss comes to attention when he is called by Atan. He goes to his friend's side. Speaking Elven in low tones "Atan, I have spent my powers, and my martial skill is not like that of the others. You are wounded badly. This Elkhead is powerful and fell. Yet despite all this, I will go with you." He leans close and passes Atan his pouch of berries. "Take these now if we are going to hunt." Meneloss picks up Yimris's bow and whatever arrows he has left. and continues "It has been too long since I have practiced with a bow, but I still remember how to shoot."

Atan stands still for a few moments, staring intently into the field of grain. Turning angrily, he moves quickly over to his back pack which he dons with haste. As he returns through the grain he points to the body of Targa. "Well....we re not going to leave him for the rats. Some one help me." Atan seems uncharacteristically unhappy as he assembles the remains of Targa into a position easier to carry.

Meneloss calls out to the group heading to Werthyn. "Oy! Is anyone going to bear our fallen in honor to be buried properly? Do you leave Tagra like carrion for the birds?! Take him to the village and have the women-folk clean his body and see that he is placed in the earth with honor!" He hands Ruglan Bulg's bow and the rest of Tagra's arrows. "You will need this I think. And get berries from Sangraal."

Meneloss looks a bit confused. "Atan, Ruglan and I will go with you. Let's get the Elk-head." He turns to Madragar, "My friend, will you come? Your crossbow will be welcome."

Seeing which way the wind is blowing, Meneloss places an arm on Atan. He says "Let's make a proper litter to carry him." He will look for planks from the door long and wide enough to accomadate the body of TAGRA.
He also points to the weapons of the broo laying about. We should not leave these unattended. Broo may come through and gather these. And the Werthyn could use some arms."
[Who are the pall bearers? Atan, Kezib. Meneloss...?]

"No, Meneloss. Sangraal is right. Most of us are wounded and we wouldn't catch him now." Pointing down towards Elk-heads tracks, "See the spacing, he is fast. Faster then even ordinary Broo. I was hoping to see that the poison slowed him down but I think that if the three of us found him in the state we are now. It would end badly for us." Placing his hand on Meneloss' shoulder he speaks clearly in elven.
When they are done speaking he eats a handfull of the berries offered earlier by Meneloss.

Seeing the companions preparing to leave, Madragar descends from his perch and whistles his raven to his shoulder. Then, wrapping his wind-whipped cloak about him, he moves to Tagra's side. "I also will help to bear in honor him who died in our company," he says.
He bends down and with Kezib, lifts the fallen warrior and follows Draxim and Ruig as they bear the wounded Yimris back to the village.
