Startled by Ruig's warning, he curses himself for not being more alert. "Lean left Ruig.", asks Atan. Shifting his aim down he fires over the dwarven cleric's head.

Atan braces against the massive stone door and lets an arrow fly toward a spear-wielding brute off in the darkened chamber.
[+5 to hit, -2 for range]
The arrow strikes the broo squarely in the chest. The creature staggers backward a step and coughs up a gobbet of crimson gore.

Meneloss dashes past Ruglan the Bull. At the corner of the massive door, Meneloss peers around keeping his torch to the fore.
[3 squares N of Ruglan, final position. That was by my calculation 25 feet. If all is clear around the corner, Meneloss will throw his torch as far as he can towards the Broo. If there is stuff around the corner, Meneloss will -if he can- blast them with a color spray]
P.s. Atan how do you get 2d6 +5 for your arrows?! (I am merely curious because I am jealous, I need that too!  )

[Meneloss will cast defensively +8 concentration and stay where he is...Shield spell 9 rounds]

If Draxim has a clear shot he will reload and fire . Preferably at a wounded one. If not he moves to just beneath the ladder and reloads. He shouts something in dwarvish to the dwarf on the ladder [GM see note]+5 to hit 1d8 damage 19-20 crit X2

[Scratch that. I checked the map and Draxim can draw a bead on 2.]
Draxim steps up beside Atan and looks down the length of his crossbow at a black-furred beast poised to strike at the advancing Yimris. Despite the distance the bolt is on target and plunges into the broo's neck, splattering the stone floor behind it with blood.
[The broo are still flat-footed so Draxim gets a sneak attack bonus.]
[BTW, all the even numbered broo have long spears. The odd numbered broo have battleaxes.]

Moving in
[ Yimris moves forward 15 ft so that he will be NW of Broo number 1 and slashes with his longsword +3 to hit 1d8+2 damage because it's chaos, and they are bad. ]

Yimris checks his forward charge and deftly slides to the left. Switching his blade to his right hand (hey, isn't Yimris left handed?) he lunges awkwardly at the snarling broo. Oddly enough the wicked point of the sword plunges through the creature's feeble parry and cuts into its abdomen. Blood spirts from the wound, drenching the gleaming blade in the sticky red stuff.
The broo doubles over and recoils from the merciless weapon, howling in pain. It recovers quickly though, and winds up for a mighty axe blow against the elf.
