Sangraal's cry echoes through the chamber, and perhaps throughout the complex. With shining flail in hand he charges through the darkness, a glowing beacon of holy light in the pitiless slaughterhouse of Old Kurlew. Sidestepping Ruig he barrels into the knot of broo happily hacking Yimris into bloody chunks.

His first target, a hulking, slavering beast, raises its hyena head from the grizzly business a split second before Sangraal's flail crashes into its cranium. The head of the weapon blazes a glowing trail of white illumination that is punctuated by an explosion of gore and purple brain matter. Like a butcher's apron the pale weapon is drenched in blood.

Sangraal doesn't stop there. Oh no. Stepping into the space previously occupied by the quickly expiring broo, its spinal column open to the chilly subterranean air, Sangraal whips his flail across the back of another beast. It howls in shock and pain, reeling backward, desperate to get away from the murderous priest and his nasty, nasty flail.

Madragar does his part by maneuvering for a clear shot on one of the remaining broo. As usual the shot is wide and disappears into the shadows to break uselessly against some innocent wall somewhere.

Atan glides right, passing the cowering dwarf (who makes no move against him), and looses an arrow at another wounded broo - this one keeping Ruglan and Ruig at bay. Against all odds Atan misses again, which makes Madragar feel a little better about himself.
