Now There's Something You Don't See Every Day
Madragar struggles to get his knees under him and rise into a one-knee kneel. "Lady," he says, painfully. "Long have I sought this hour, though I imagined it quite differently."
"Heartily glad am I to make your acquaintance again. It seems you know my companion Atan, and recognize our fallen companion Meneloss, may Humakt bless his soul. And beside Meneloss lies brave Ruig of the dwarves, to whom I owe my life."
"Allow me to introduce the rest of our small band. There stands Ruglan, whom we name Brooslayer in honor. And here is Sangraal, Holy Hand of Yelm. These are Draxim and Kezib."

Re: its Elvish for "We won!"
Ruglan breathes a noticable sigh of relief as the lady smiles. "Is there anything you can do for our 2 fallen comrades, My Lady?"

Re: Now There's Something You Don't See Every Day
Lyssa smiles and nods at each of the ragged, exhausted band.
"And the pleasure is mine as well. I have been watching you, Madragar, since I left you in Dobrug. At least, when I could. There is much to discuss and after the courage you have shown here, so close to the Pit of Slaeg Gnara, you deserve some answers." Lyssa gestures toward the piles of dead broo laying beside the circular portal.
"But our time is short. The Ulur tribe has send another of their kin to watch over the Pit. The new Lord of the Mountain is descending the main stair as we speak, and if he finds us here I honestly don't know what he will do."

Lyssa looks at the plaintive face of Ruglan and with one glance confirms his fears. The elven lady can do nothing for Ruig and Meneloss.

"The only way out of here is by the stairs." says Ruglan. "We must get our gear quickly too. Is it safe to go get it now?"

"The Ulur must come with great numbers if they overmatch your guard," says Madragar. "We must go indeed."
"But will they not release that which lies entombed below us?"
[OOC - I presume the Ulur are broo?]

Re: Now There's Something You Don't See Every Day
[I imagine Ruglan and Atan retrieved everyone's gear from the stairs hours ago.]
Lyssa shakes her head. "The Ulur are giants, Madragar, and they have taken a blood oath to protect the Pit of Slaeg Gnara against those that would see it opened. Koraeus was an elder among the Ulur, but hither comes Daemagu. He is young among giantkind, but still powerful, slow to trust and quick to anger."
Lyssa makes a gesture toward her followers and the whole band of them descend on the group, gathering close around the graceful sorceress.
"Stay still, all of you," she commands, and closes her eyes, face wrapped in concentration. The surrounding air quickly fills with a deep grey mist, and the last thing anyone can hear are the approaching thunder of giant, stomping feet rushing down the outer hall.
