Long seconds pass and Kreillah refuses to move, or take her eyes off Madragar. From the shadows at the far end of the hall it is difficult, even for Ulwe, to determine what she's up to.

Sangraal shifts his stance to guard the door from which Bucket had emerged, weary of further accomplaces entering the room.
"Blazing Sun!" Sangraal spits angerly " Tell her why we are here! No more dancing."
"We know who you are and we know you are involved with the disseapeance of an Elf tracker and humen disciple of Yelm."
" Its simple. We want them. Alive! As I see it there are two ways to walk out of this Kreillah and one of them involves a grave. These missing men will not rot in an unknown grave, murdered by unknown hands. I swear it. Justice and retribution will be served."
[OOC: Sangraal is ready for anything at this point: He holds his action and will strike at anyone coming through the door he is guarding.]

[There is no such thing as "disbelieving" illusions.]
Sangraal plunges down the hall toward Kreillah, but doesn't get more than ten feet or so before the dwarf woman fades into nothingness. The hall is empty except for the four bewildered companions, though every shadow now seems to hold some hidden threat. For the moment, however, nothing assails them.

Sangraal incants a short prayer to Yelm for guidence through darkness and trials. In response the head of his flail begins to glow with a holy light.
"It seems we have found the burrow and its denizens flee before us. Lets go" Sangraal moves to the edge of the darkend stairs

Ulwe shakes his head as if to clear it from the glamour of Krieallah.
"Orlanth! he exclaims. Then his demeanour is all business as he snaps to action.
He quickly pockets the bundle of coins and grasps his spear with his fighting hand.
He deftly moves up to the Sun-Wielder and peers into the gloom.
His elven eyes strain in the darkness...

The shadowy, lantern-lit hallway suddenly brightens as the reassuring glow of Sangraal's flail comes to life. The place is empty except for the five doors and the narrow stairway descending out of sight to the north.
[Let's give Madragar and Ruglan a chance to act...]

How can they be jamming us if they dont know we're coming?
Halting as his friends gather around.
"This smells of a trap! First we go corner Bucket! 4 on 1 and we could use him to lead around down there. The scallywags know we are here and are fleeing or in waiting."Sangraal pauses,
" Either way Bucket is the only one we know for sure is still around. The female dwarf could have been an illusion the whole time. Plus I'd rather take the big guy out of the fight now, instead of having him sneak in behind us."

Peering down the staircase, Ulwe sees nothing unexpected. The wooden passage descends about twenty feet into the earth and opens into a chamber directly beneath the tavern. Other than what little Sangraal's light illuminates, the cellar is dark and silent.
