The Cairnhollow, Part IV
The party carouses, muses or simply relaxes in the uncomfortable confines of the outpost for another day [mark off another 9 meals please]. Sangraal, and the rest of the group, is fully healed by the next morning without further magical aid. The complex outside the redoubt is utterly silent, with nary a sign of any Duergar coming to see what has become of their comrades, or any new critters coming into the mines from the surface.
However, an interesting revelation comes sometime during the nightwatch. Sangraal, pacing through the lower chambers while Ruglan sits beside a half dozen loaded crossbows above, passes through the armory where piles of bloodstained mail and weapons, leftovers from the combat with the Duergar, lay strewn about. Without actively searching for it, Sangraal notices that Brother Wos' morningstar is gone.
