"Take me to your judges then," Uruul challenges. "Let us see what they make of your deeds this night."

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Madragar sighs and gestures for Ulwe to speak with him off to the side.
"He does not fear us. We have little time left for threats. We must either release him, take him to the Swordelders or begin to make good on our threats. And if the latter, he cannot be allowed to live."
"I believe we must take him to the Swordelders, and suffer their disapproval, if that is what is necessary to find Naredru."

[Will aside with the others]
"This man isn't taking us seriously. I suggest that we change his mind, a couple of broken toes might do the trick. Anyone have a hammar with them?"

[aside to Madragar anad Janes]
"I agree Madragar. We have no choice but to bring him before the Sword Elders. Unless Khelzhad can somehow Charm him again. If only Pogar had not been so rash." To Janes he simply says "We cannot torture him."

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Seeing how it is still several hours 'till daylight, Ulwe concedes to Madragar "The hour is too late to bring him before the Swordelders. He won't answer our questions and a confession beaten from a man is no confession at all. I think the only thing to do now is to wait."

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Atan goes over to listen in on Madragar and Ulwes discussion.
"Why don't we go back to Uruuls place, let Khelzhad use the ring to change himself into Uruul, put on all of Uruuls jewlery and cloths, and then he can go down into the tunnel and explore it. If he runs into anyone he just turns around and comes back out. We wait in ambush above to jump anyone who follows.
If Khelzhad is not challenged then he can explore and find any evidence. If it comes up into Yashai's tent all the better. Agree?"
Atan looks to Madragar and Ulwe.
"Nobody gets hurt, we get the information or clues we are looking for and everyone gets out."

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Draxim offers Janes his hammer.
[OOC Thanks I had forgotten that I had one!]
"Wait a minute!" hisses Draxim. He then continues in an undertone that can be just overheard by Uruul. "This servant of Chaos was aiding Naedru and Naedru killed <garbled>. He is a known accomplice to an assassain and servant of Chaos! We can't just let him go. The fact that he won't help us proves he's a servant of Chaos. I say we slit his throat. I know a couple places you can throw a body where no one will find it except the corpse looters. Anyway, if we let him live now we'll have her troops after us for sure. We can take him down..." he continues a little more quietly describing some non-existent place then finishes with a theatrical wink.

Re: Dobrug, Part II
[In the aside to Atan, Janes and Ulwe]
"I do not think that Master Khelzad's illusion will last so long. If he is captured, they will kill him, and we are all betrayed."
"Ulwe, will the Swordelders not awaken for so important a cause? I do not think we can afford to wait until the morrow."

Re: Dobrug, Part II
"I can try. We cannot hurt him - he is obviously not evil, greedy perhaps, but that's no crime among this group." Khelzhand takes a deep breath and begins chanting again while slowly turning toward Uruul.
[The feat Extra Music will allow him to attempt the Charm again.]

Re: Dobrug, Part II
[Actually, no. Charm is a spell, and at his level Khelzhad can cast one 1st level spell per day. Extra Music lets him use his Bardic Music abilities: Inspire Courage, Countersong, Fascinate, etc.. four extra times per day.]

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Despite his skill, this time Khelzhad's extremely repetitiive song of charming just ends up annoying everyone in the room.

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Walking to the huddled group Pogar whispers "First I apologize for my rash behavior. However, I believe he is lying. It was confirmed that he met with Naredru, whom we all know is a murderer. If you so choose to deal with the Swordelders, I will concede to that. However, this one seems strong, and is not afraid of anything. Which leads me to believe, Yashai is an agent of chaos. He is in league with Yashai and I believe that the tunnel leads to Yashai, and thats how Naredru got there. I say....." Pogar pauses for a moment to collect himself before continuing. "If we take him to the Swordelders, then lets do it now. I dont know how much longer I can take this vile humans lies." Pogar finishes while glaring at Uruul, dreaming of taking the dagger and dragging it across his neck, or taking his axe and splitting him in two.

Re: Dobrug, Part II
"I am prepared to take Uruul before the Sword Elders, but his audience with them can wait. Let us bind him here and do as Atan suggests. Let us explore the tunnel and see where it leads. That will provide us with more clues. Naredru entered Uruul's abode and allegedly never left. This tunnel will lead to somewhere."
"Draxim check the knots on this one. We'll leave him 'till morning. Let's return to Uruul's shop."

Re: Dobrug, Part II
"Um, I think thats a bad idea, Ulwe. This man is known around here. There will be talk around town. I know there is talk in my clan when a dwarfling doesnt do what he is told to do. Humans seem to be more of a talkative folk. Im sure there are already talks of some strange things going on. He is known, and once found missing, he will be looked for. I do not agree with leaving him here, alone. Maybe if one stayed with him...." Pogar turns to Uruul and grins an evil grin.

Re: Dobrug, Part II
"Good Ruglan. A watchman to watch over our captive will be the best." Says Ulwe as he grabs Pogar and turns him away from Uruul.
"That's enough from you Stonecrusher. Now then if you can keep your impulses in order then come along. We do not need more of your 'initiative' this eve."
"Captain..." says Ulwe to Atan indicating that the Ranger lead the way back to Uruul's shop.

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Atan looks up from his short discussion with Draxim.
"Lets go."
Once out of earshot of Uruul.
"Khelzhad, can you change into Uruuls guise? It could come in handy."
To the others.
"We have a potion that confers upon its consumer the ability to be unseen. "
Atan gets everyones attention.
"Heres my plan. We go back to the shop and secure it. Draxim drinks the potion while Khelzhad takes on the guise of Uruul. Then they go down into the tunnel while we wait above.
They can explore, hopefully undisturbed, and look for clues. If trouble rears its head they can fall back or summon us to them with one quick yell.
This achieves our goal of finding out information without letting on who we are, any more then we already have, and without having somebodies arse hanging in the breeze. If all goes as planned we'll find what we need and get out with none the wiser."
