Re: Dobrug, Part II
[OOC: I am my own worst enemy:) ]

"Once they discover him missing then it would be suicide to come back. We have the element of suprise. Lets get the rest in here, tie this fool up and check out the tunnel." Atan looks to Madragar, smiles and shrugs.

"Oban would you be so kind as to go get our the others? Lets tie this guy up."

[OOC: Atan looks around the store for something to tie this guy up with.]

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Madragar has come armed with rope, and would be astonished to learn that Atan has not.

"No," he insists. "Do as you will, but the tunnel is not our goal. Uruul is. By leaving him here, we risk losing everything, surprise included. I will not enter the tunnel until this man is safely delivered. Let us do it now and let us do it quickly; there may yet be time for us to enter the tunnel."

"I propose that I stay here and keep watch. That way you will know whether our presence has been discovered. I can see in the dark. You three take Uruul back and hand him over to the others, then return here. You can be back in ten minutes, if you hurry."

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Atan binds up Uruul and wisks him to the others. Once there he will explain that they found a tunnel under Uruuls shop and that he was carrying a lamp that required no fuel.

"Very stange for a simple merchant. He sang like a bird till I inquired as to the tunnel and where it led. Wanna check it out?"

Re: Dobrug, Part II
"Bah, you know where it leads, Atan. It leads to Yashai's house." Pogar says gruffly as he grabs the captive, somewhat roughly and leads him to the safe house for further questioning.

[Is he blindfolded?]

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Before Uruul is bundled off to the safehouse (the warehouse) blindfolded, Ulwe insists that the merchant strip down to remove any jewlery or weapons. He is also adamant that any distinguishing clothing be removed. He offers Uruul his own sturdy sea-cloak to keep warm.

He offers no explanation to Uruul for his requests but as an aside to Madragar he whispers: "These items might be used to Locate him. Better safe than sorry."

Once the articles are removed from Uruul, Ulwe stuffs them in a pile of refuse and enlists Atan's aid in hiding them further.

"Let's take him away."

"Quite right, Very wise. Best to make sure they are never found again, lest they be used to track us. I have heard of such magics, though I command none myself."

"A bartender who has never carried a drunken friend through the streets? Clearly, my friend with the cloak over him is merely inebriated."

Re: Dobrug, Part II
[OOC: Atan takes the unfueled yet glowing lantern and drops a cloth over it below they leave the merchants shop.

What is due east of Uruuls shop?]

"So now that we have him, whats the plan?" Atan asks of Ulwe, whispering it only when he is sure Uruul is out of earshot.. " I will not be accompaning you to the SwordElders so if that is the plan I will meet up with you all later."

"Is anybody interested in the tunnel underneath Uruuls shop?"

[OOC: The red adventure-like candy button.]

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Ulwe gently admonishes Atan to leave the lantern.
"We are not burgalers. Besides there are Charms which a wizard or priest can use to find objects and even people. Leave that behind."

"As for th eplan, we must get this one..." He indicates the stumbling blindfolded Uruul "... to the warehouse where we can question him further."

Re: Dobrug, Part II
"Leaving the lantern is a calling card to Uruuls friends that something has happened to the merchant. "

Atan will sneak back and inform Madragar of the group decision to go back to the warehouse.

Re: Dobrug, Part II
[I'm noticing that some of Atan's behavior has been more than a little un-Atan-like. In the past, if both Madragar and at least one of the priests agreed on something then Atan tended to heed their warnings. So, I'm going to say he does. Also, Atan wouldn't suggest diving down a rat hole while the original plan was left incomplete.]

Atan, leaving the lantern behind, leads Ulwe, Janes and Khelzhad out into the street with Uruul slung over his shoulder, wrapped in a cloak. Janes and Khelzhad scan the area with their darkvision, but the street remains dark and empty of kuralitai patrols. The group swiftly moves north.

Picking up Pogar, Madragar, Draxim and Ruglan, the band sloshes through the darkness and the rain. Their progress is observed by a number of random townsfolk: refugees, mercenaries, laborers staggering back from their favorite taverns. However, no one challenges them.

In minutes the group has reached the warehouse and is happy to get out of the rain. The place has two entrances, one on the street and another leading to a wide alley. To one side is another storehouse of some kind, and to the other is what appears to be an abandoned boarding house.

Re: Dobrug, Part II
Madragar immediately searches the place with Detect Magic. Once satisfied, he wards it with Alarm.

Re: Dobrug, Part II
[The warehouse is about twice the size of Janes' tavern, so about 30'x50'. One Alarm will cover both doors, and actually part of the adjoining buildings as well. Audible warning tone or not?]
