Re: Dobrug, Part IV
After dropping off his bundles Khelzhad heads back out with much of his remaining Carinhollow loot. Using his skills in appraisal, he purchases gemstones worth 400g (including, if possible, a couple of pearls). Then he heads to the Locamyridra seeking audience with Brae, Ulwe or Waed Daeva.

Re: Dobrug, Part IV
Ulwe greets Khelzhad at the entrance of the Locamyrida and escorts teh Ghuruskalli to the Aerendalen Shrine.

"Good news Song-wise! I've secured us passage on a ship, which will be our sole-charter. The fare is fair enough as they say and we may depart as soon as we all are ready."

"You wished for a sea-journey and now you have one."

Re: Dobrug, Part IV
Khelzhad is heartened by Ulwe's excitement. "Then it is good that I have come to give thanks to Orlanth as well as seek Brae's guidance, for I have here a sack of coin as a tithe to the temple of our protector".

[Inspired by Draxim's actions, Khelzhad also has 100g for the Locamyridra.]

Re: Dobrug, Part IV
Draxim also asks the captain what he recommends bringing on such a voyage. Draxim also inspects the state of armaments on the vessel, and thinks wistfully of the heavy crossbows he donated to Theony.

Ulwe and Khelzhad both find Brae out of their reach. His attendants are not allowing anyone in to see him.

Feeling in his pack, Pogar notices his helm.

"Bah" He ridicules himself. "No smarter than a gurrows dung." Pogar will fill his pack, and organize his things as readily as they need to be and will sit at Janes's pub watching the elves, humans and more sophisticated dwarfs run around preparing for the travels. Pogar will leave his bag of coins on the table and have the serving wench prepare his foods and drink while he waits.

Re: Dobrug, Part IV
Ulwe tries instead to meet with Cyrvalus. He sends word that the Yelmite priest (Sangraal) has important information pertaining to his earlier audience with the Synod. Also in his note he tells the elder priest they are leaving with haste and pleads for a few moments with the Spearbearer priest this day.

Re: Dobrug, Part IV
The best Ulwe can manage is a brief meeting with the dowdy Eshrid. Her hair disheveled and her fingers stained with ink, the young priestess emerges from the Spearbearer temple and into the forum in which Ulwe waits.

"What?" she impatiently barks.

Re: Dobrug, Part IV
Anyone show up around noon at Janes bar that wants to head to see Theony?

[I responded to this when you first proposed it. Theony is three days away. The party intends to leave by ship in the opposite direction in one day. -GM]

I didn't realize that she was that far away. Janes will try to arrange a meeting with "the man" to make sure this is OK with him.

Feeling pretty unappreciated pal
Draxim asks Ulwe and/or Ruglan what "Kelp Canary" means.

Draxim also asks the captain what he recommends bringing on such a voyage. (will there be dangers? What is a good way to prepare for typical dangers) Draxim also inspects the state of armaments on the vessel, and thinks wistfully of the heavy crossbows he donated to Theony.

Re: Dobrug, Part IV
"Sister Eshrid, I plead for an audience with Cyravalus. I have words which only he can hear, and important news that a Yelmite preist of the Dawn Brothers must tell the venerable Reverend. The haste and urgency of my request is due to a grave and perilous threat to Moagara. It has to do with Kurashk and an alliance they have formed with the Decievers which seek the ruin of every Man Elf and Dwarf. Please I beg thee, admit me to his chamber with my friend Sangraal."

Re: Feeling pretty unappreciated pal
Draxim: Unkru Sixtoe, captain of the Kelp Canary, is too busy loading cargo and rounding up his men from a long night's debauch to answer Draxim's questions. He can see, however, that the galley has no armament other than the crossbows and blades of the crew, which are few and in poor condition.

Ulwe: Eshrid is obviously exhausted from the night's endeavors and Ulwe's passionate plea breaks down her normal intractability. She wearily nods and leads the companions through the temple and into a back room where Cyrvalus is taking a (very late) morning meal. Eye's bloodshot and bearing gray bags beneath them, the elder priest looks up at the energetic youths before him and motions for Eshrid to leave them. This she does.

Re: Dobrug, Part IV
Atan uncharacteristically rises late from a deep slumber and finds the inn quiet. Picking up his sheathed sword he carries it with him to the common room. Looking about for some food unsuccesfully, he sits down by the fire and stretchs out.

When Janes returns at noon, he finds the elf still sitting lazily in front of the fire deep in thought, the long sword in his lap.

"I'll go with you south.", he responds to the rogues questions. "But first we will see the group off. Make plans for our ruinion."

As he stands up stifly he shifts the sword from its resting spot, holding it mid scabbard, and turns to head back to his room, "If you didn't like the kidnapp plan you won't like what I am heading to do.", he barks out over his shoulder.

Cyrvalus
Ulwe bows low beore the spiritual cheiftain of the Spearbearer sect of Orlanth.

"Brother Cyrvalus, we owe you a great debt for the storm which you summoned last night. If it had not quenched the unnatural flames burning the witch's house, Dobrug would be burning still. Its efforts have been a great burdon upon you and we three intrude upon your rest; for that I apologize. Though my friend here Dawn-Brother Sangraal has many things to speak of to you which pertain directly to what we spoke of with Brae in the sanctum of the Wind-Lord's tower."

Janes follows Atan, and calls out after him "What are you talking about? It can't be worse than the kidnap plan..."

[OOC: Who is this guy? and why are we suppose to spill our guts to him?]

Sangraal looks around wondering how he got into this.

"I trust Brae" he thinks to himself " but who is this?"

Re: Cyrvalus
[Having grown up in Dobrug, Sangraal knows that Cyrvalus is a well respected leader of the largest Orlanth sect in Moagara - the Spearbearers. He is, in fact, their spiritual leader.]
