Khelzhad removes his well worn, battled tested Ghuraskalli chainmail and dons the finely crafted leather and chain coat instead.

Re: Armorfest
"By the living gods," breathes Madragar, examining the magnificent gifts. He resists the impulse to begin an attunement ritual immediately.
He wishes that he knew more of dragonnewt funeral rites, so that he could, at long last, send Utama off in the style of her people.
"Have a care, gentlemen," he advises. "For though these were undoubtedly made for you, we stand in the tomb of our benefactress."
Seeing the beautiful suits of mail Madragar nods. "Now you shall be caparisoned like the champions you are. Dwell on it, brothers. You are the heirs of Utama, Sekastia and the rest. Heirs to a battle not yet done."

Draxim looks at Khelzhad like he's crazy, and stashes his own masterwork chain shirt in his pack knowing that it will fetch quite a handsome price. He experiments with the light for a while seeing if other things will stay floating in it if he puts them back, then goes and starts inventory and evaluation on all the semi-precious stones and other fine materials.
Acknowledging the moment in response to Madragar:
" I can't think of any better way to devote my service to Urox than to try an' live as Tauros, and the rest of the dagger did. Course, my ancestors weren't so noble as theirs," he adds in a mumble.

Pogar stands in front of the majestic piece of armor that immediatley appeals to him. Holding back his greedy nature, he waits, until he sees everyone else picking out armor.
Pogar quickly grabs the armor and removes his old suit and replaces it with the new model. Pogar is smiling, for the first time in a long time, but you cant see under his grimy beard. Seeing the throwing axe's, Pogar quickly grabs them.

Janes, who loves the idea of armor that is both stylish and functional, wastes no time switching out his old armor for the new coat. He's hoping for something in a nice gray to mix even more functionality in with looking dapper.

Re: Underground, Part V
Madragar stops short, noticing one fine suit of tooled and oiled leather. It laces across the left side of the chest with silken cords and bears upon it the device of a black tower surrounded in mist. The whole is in a forest green with scarlet facings. The whole is like a fine high-collared coat, but hides beneath its surface a remarkably supple yet tough network of chainmail.
"Oh my..." he says, staring. For once he is at a loss of words.

Ulwe dons the fine suit of armor with pride. Though he is uncomfortable with the additional weight, and it's slowness , he is a believer in proveneance. If this suit was made to fit him in an ancient past and waited through ages for him to find, surely he was meant to wear it.
He tries to jog and run to guage his movement wearing the new kit.

[Looks like a picked a good time to catch up on everything.]
Atan stands by silently as Draxim, Ulwe and Sangraal move over to investigate the armor and weapons. Watching the trio lay claim to suits that indeed seem custom designed for the individual, he lets his curiosity take hold and walks amongst the group looking for suit of leather made for him.
[He also retrieves a quiver of arrows from amongst the floating weapons noting the white fletching he offers up that Chandra had the same just before the fight with Irigaal.]

Re: Armorfest
Silently tracing the engraved rays of light Sangraal mumurs a silent prayer thanking Utama for this gift. The first thing Sangraal does is removes the sweat filled leather cap that had replaced his previous helm when it was twain in two. Donning the new crested helm Sangraal is awed by the fit and feel. Soon he is removing all the old armor, dropping it uncerimounously into a growing pile on the floor.
After some time is taken to figure out how this strange armor actually works Sangraal is armored up and is taking practice lunges and swings.

Re: Armorfest
[I thought to offer it, but I'm glad Madragar went ahead and described his own armor. That's perfectly fine with me and if any of you want to do that feel free. One of the reasons the dragonewts switched bodies with you is to make sure this armor took your abilities and aesthetic preferences into account. Being a long lived people, the dragonewts are big on aesthetics.]
[Also, Sekastia, in her infinite wisdom, saw to it that a leather/chain coat was made for Ulwe, rather than the heavy half-plate. Now Sangraal and Pogar are tied for the thickest armor in all of Moagara.]

Re: Armorfest
[Khelz weighs as much as a linen shirt so I assume all of them are the same.]
Atan’s gaze slides about the room searching for a piece of equipment he assumes is designed for him. His head stops abruptly as a sharp inhale escapes his breath. Walking forward, his head tilted in question, he stops in front of a regal leather suit that appears fit for the elf but not quite the utilitarian pieces of equipment he would normally carry.
The leather suit that hovers before him is well oiled, marbled in deep shades of browns like that of well burnished walnut. As is Madragar’s, Atan’s is high collared but around the collar and the cuff edges are dozens of tiny glyphs embroidered in silver that appear radiant in the light of Sangraal’s flail.
“Shadowbark…..” he murmurs as he reaches forward and pulls the leather suit to him. Holding it by the back of the collar he hefts it, visible surprise shows on his face at its lack of weight. Briefly he traces the silvered lines of the pictograph centered on the neck of the suit. “How could it be….Silverleaf.” he says to himself in awe. None the less, he quickly tries on his new armor, cinching the simple silver buckles that the custom leather shirt fits snuggly.
Smiling, he bends and twists, giving his armor a quick test through the motions. When he finishes, he replaces his hooded camouflage smock over his armor, straps on his belt, sword, backpack and quiver. The only thing left showing of the new suit being the high collared silver sigils.

"Utama's note said he would forge the runemetal as Zhoskelgar instructed him. If these are the products of his time, then I think we indeed have been blessed."
Atan starts talking out loud, "We are at a crossroads as we have yet to find the greydisk. I am not sure what the king of the Dragonewts and Sekestia have planned for us but it seems we are to conclude some unfinished business. This is only theory but as it appears we changed history, could we not sway the pendalum back? What if they intend for us to stop Irigall from slaying Tenherds before his time? and is that why Humakt has been imprisoned as Sangraal suggests? So that Chaos can cange history?"

Re: Armorfest
Ulwe removes his custom-made chain shirt crafted by the most skilled armorer in all of Dobrug. Though it is a fine and wonderful work of armor, compared to his new suit, it appears as a pauper's rags.
Sekestia, knowing Ulwe's thoughts and dreams, modeled the sea-elf's armor accordingly.
Ulwe reverently pulls his chain and leather garment down from the enchanted shafts of light. Unlike the other leather and chain coats, Ulwe's armor is closer in form to a byrnie or hauberk.
The armor has no buckles or straps and is pulled over the body, much like a traditional chain shirt. The suit also unlike the others, has its layer of chain on the outside, rather than being hidden beneath leather. The impossibly small and tightly woven links flow together and ripple with the elf's movements. In the light of Sangraal's flail, the chain appears almost liquid flowing over the Aerendalen's body. Silver, Turquoise and Lapis Lazuli embellishments accent the collar and hems. Through clever and skilled handiwork, slightly darker links join together to spell out Orlanthian prayers in spidery Elven script, which wrap around the sleeves and waist of Ulwe's incredible armor.
Underneath the fine mesh of steel, a supple and rich layer of leather extends past the metal to form a border. The leather is finely tooled with knotwork depictions of sea and wind flowing from one shape to the next. The inside of the leather is lined with a padded cloth of sea-green color with a smooth and shiny texture.
Ulwe lastly dons a matching steel cap with nasal and cheek guards. It too is embellished. The helm is set with damascene inlays of silver suggestive of water and wind.
He grabs the six master work javelins held in a quiver of tooled blue leather and straps them on his back.
"Orlanth!" He exclaims with joy all decked out in his new finery. "I shall call my hauberk Tormtingwe." *
* Tormtingwe, a large slivery fish with armored scales which inhabits the seas near Shei Hythriad. Tormtingwe often are told in legends to be highly intelligent and even capable of speech and are occasionally attributed magical powers. According to certain tales, Tormtingwe are sometimes used as messengers of Orlanth.

Re: Armorfest
Ulwe looks at his Companions with pride. His fighting comrades-in-arms bedecked like princes brings a large grin. "Companions of the Light!" He shouts and offers his spear in salute. He raps the floor once with the butt of his spear and turns to face the exit. His awe and wonderment begin to subside when he is reminded of the task to which these eight have been chosen. The urgency of their quest sets in, and Ulwe steels himself for the epic battle yet to come.

Re: Armorfest
"I wouldn't think that anything else would be hiding here, but it's better safe then sorry." Draxim sweeps through the room looking for secret doors, trap doors, hidden cubby holes etc.
Draxim's armor is tooled on the front and back identically, with a giant onrushing charcoal gray bull's head on a field of blue. The head is embellished with spirals and other flourishes. The horns of the bull extend to points at the shoulders, and the large eyes made of a type of highly polished black stone that has faint red streaks that seem to shift and swirl about. The varied blues and grays of the armor are more than casually reminiscent of a storm, and in fact the colours swirl and shift at a rate proportional to the activity level of the wearer. When Draxim swings about with a couple of practice combat maneuvers, the "storm clouds" swirl angrily, and the eyes brighten slightly. When still, the "skies" become brooding as if gathering for a coming storm. In darkness, the charcoals and blues blend together even more, owing to the similar intensity of the colours used by Utama. This effect makes the armor well suited to stealth operations despite its elaborate design.
Half his bolts are white feathered, but coloured along the shaft in slight yellows and blues, and fletched cleverly to make a ripping sound reminiscint of a nearby lightning strike. The other 10 are fletched and coulored in deep blues, and make almost no noise in flight.
