Re: deep in the bag... nothing but money and magic items.
"Where did we see some crystals like this before. Something's tickling the back of my brain." He puts the devices back in their cases (but not back in the chest yet) since they are obviously designed to protect them.
He checks the ring for inscriptions etc. without actually putting it on.
"We need our magician back. Fashioned Rune Metal almost always means that the thingy has some magic to it."
He will also see if he can figure out what kind of trap it is. (what would have happened if he hadn't pressed the button)
[ Is it like large like choker large or large like thumb ring large or wagon wheel or what?
Also, what was the count on the coinage so we can distribute?]

Re: deep in the bag... nothing but money and magic items.
After a fruitless search of the northern wall, Kehlzhad searches the eastern. Time permitting, he will search the west wall thereafter.

Re: deep in the bag... nothing but money and magic items.
The ring is large enough to fit a normal sized finger, but is both wide and thick. The inscriptions on it appear to be Imperial in origin: crescent moons, the three pillar motif, and Lunar writing generally speaking. It is quite conspicuously Lunar.
Draxim counts out 1480 silver coins, and 711 gold, but can't tell what the consequences would be of not opening the lock properly.
Khelzhad works his way around the room and, coming to the western wall, spends considerable time staring at one section of the ornate stonework. Dragonewt iconography is everywhere, but there's something about the wall that intrigues him. After a brief consultation with Pogar the two Ghuraskalli agree that there is some sort of stonework mechanism behind the stack of scrolls.

Sangaal looks over Draxims shoulder and translates the Lunar written on the ring for everyone.

Re: deep in the bag... nothing but money and magic items.
All right, that's 185 silver and 89 gold for everyone.
[ Draxim uses sleight of hand to conceal the fact that he is only taking 88 for himself in order to simplify matters ]
He counts out the stacks and gives them out.
[PUT IT ON YOUR SHEET !]
Also, since he didn't use the holy water from the last battle, he puts it back in Ulwe's pack.
[ GM: How does the delivery schedule in the scroll correspond to the current day? i.e. When would the next delivery of oil etc. arrive? ]

Re: deep in the bag... nothing but money and magic items.
Draxim takes a look at the scrolls and with some help from Saangraal, since he can't read Lunar, he determines that the last shipment of supplies from the mysterious Danzan was less than a week ago. The next delivery shouldn't be for many days.
Time wears on with the guard at the door periodically changed and the companions tending to their wounded. Most of a day passes and Sangraal feels ready to pray to Yelm for some healing goodness.
[Mark off a day's rations if you're conscious.]

Re: see me feel me touch me heal me
With the assistance of Atan's healing skills, many of the companions have recovered nicely.
[Atan is moderately wounded. Pogar has a scratch. Ulwe is unconscious. Madragar is in a coma. Everyone else is unharmed.]

Re: see me feel me touch me heal me
As Pogar watches his cousin walk away, after discussing the wall with him, Pogar looks across the room at everyone. Dirty, blood crusted armor, with the crimson blood still wet on Madragars tunic, Pogar sighs.
Having no fears of throwing himself face first into battle and shrugging as best he can, the piercings and slashing injuries he has endured from his time on the roads, it pains him to see his friends injured. Madragar, breathing and appearing to be at complete peace, his screams still echo in his mind.
Ulwe, also seemingly sleeping peacefully, still pale from the evil magic of the scribe. Still, the scenes do not play out in his mind. All he remembers is waking up, as though he went out on a week long bender. Still feeling the pains in his head, Pogar walks up to the two companions who are laying on the ground.
"Yer no takin' 'em today" Pogar says while looking up to the ceiling. Standing, Pogar moves off. As Draxim hands out the equal share of loot, Pogars eyes light a little. Seeing the shiny gold and silver pieces, Pogar adds them to the rest of his wealth.
"Prolly the dirtiest n smelliest rich dwarf in th realm" Pogar thinks to himself cheerfully.

Re: the world according to me....
[You won't know until you try. Ulwe may be helped by Sangraal's magic, but Madragar probably won't. He needs natural rest and healing until he's well enough for healing magic to take him the rest of the way.]

Re: the world according to me....
Going over to Ulwe Sangraal lays a hand on the elfs forhead. As the sun priest utters a short hymn glorifying Yelm and his son Orlanth, Sangraals hand begins to glow.

Re: the world according to me....
After attempting to heal Ulwe Sangraal will recite litany of the Writ Unshroud and look about the room careful to examine anything that radiates magic. He checks out the ring, the contents of the chest, and lastly the room and secret door.

Re: the world according to me....
Ulwe awakens. He is still badly injured, however, his many wounds making it painful for the elf priest to even move.
[Ulwe is now critically wounded.]
Sangraal surveys the room. Each of the twelve simple silver vials in the chest radiate a light enchantment. The four ornate vials each radiate moderate enchantments. The ring is strongly magical, while the two red crystals are each of a moderate enchantment.
Both legionaire corpses, the scribe and its "captain", both radiate weak necromantic magic. Beyond what the companions are carrying there is nothing else magical in the room.

Re: the world according to me....
Sangraal points out to all what the writ unshroud reveals to him and then returns to Ulwes side.
"I've had worse." he deadpans. "By the light, I thought you had taken the final oath."
After a litle talk Sangraal again prays to his lord for his healing power.

Janes looks angry at the sight of the magic ring and mutters, "I wonder who's going to get that? Another person that will stick it in a pack and never use it?" As he shuffles over to take his turn at guard duty while pocketing his share of the cash.

[Ulwe is now lightly wounded.
I forgot to mention that all of the dead legionaire had light crossbows and quivers of about twenty crossbow bolts. If anyone needs ammo there probably more than they can carry.]
