Where the keys fit into the quest as a whole
Hmm...apparently after handing in reyna's item in abysmal, you are directed to talk to Turlini and Namosa. Turlini gives a flag and pointers to the arena, but you cant start the event there (causing the ruckus) without the appropriate item. What does namosa require?
I'm guessing that the quest goes something like this:
- get Reyna's earring (random drop?)
- hand it to taminoa
- Get directions to talk to Turlini and Namosa, with advice to get faction first
- Talk to Turlini and get his quest (collect the 10 keys)
- hand in the filled bag to Turlini and get a flag + directions to cause a ruckus trying to free Reyna
- Talk to Namosa and get her quest (what is it?)
- Complete Namosa's quest and get what? (flag? item? I suspect the arena event trigger item)
- Hand in the trigger item to a slave in the arena and start phase 1. Return the dropped quest item to Turlini for the trigger to phase 2.
- Repeat for as many phases as required (7-9, not sure, they get progressively more difficult)
- Then what happens? Does Reyna pop at the end of the last phase? Do the slaves escape? Does some sort of PP pop that you hail for a flag or item? Or do you hand in the final item to Taminoa (I suspect that most people will think twice about doing that )?

Re: Where the keys fit into the quest as a whole
Anyone have suggestions on improving faction with yunjo slave revolt? Slaughtering the eyekeepers, decapitators, gladiators and officiator is getting mind numbing. I know the boxed version includes a /claim item that maxes faction (this seems pretty silly to me - lets reward people for using an inefficient supply channel) - is there a different way of obtaining this?

It doesn't max faction, it only increases it to amiable (i think) or kindly, whichever is 1 step above indifferent.
Nevertheless, you can make food and turn it into the starving...make drinks and turn it into the thirsty yunjo in the zone.
Re: Where the keys fit into the quest as a whole
I think the items to make the food and drinks are mob drops - Taelosian Tea Leaves etc.... or do they accept non-GoD food/drink?
Pain.

Ive already completed the Namosa part, it involves her, her mother, and the second councilor in Qinimi. I have a no drop item from it that none of those three involved in the quest will accept. Ill go attempt to start the arena event with it once I finish the Turlini part (Scored key wru etc) but the final text from Namosa didnt specify any use for the item.

The drink requires Taelosian Tea Leaves (foraged) to make any of the drinks you hand in. Skill combines are relatively low, 166 was highest I saw in any of the baking or brewing.
The other stuff is foraged throughout GoD. Easiest to get was Hynid meat. Any size hynid meat + mixing bowl = a bunch of 1 lb hynid meat. 1 lb hynid meat + mixing bowl = hynid meat (yes, that was a second combine). 1 hynid meat + mixing bowl = dried hynid meat. Dried hynid meat could be handed in, but no to all of them; some of them request hynid, others crab, cragbeast, etc. All of it is GoD baking.
Hynid meat is fairly common and is often on the merchants in Natimbi. However, here's the catch that will prevent you from factioning up in a major way:
After about 8 hand-ins, the hungry/thirsty slave despawns. I have despawned about 5 slaves worth, soloed in the coliseum for a few hours, grouped in the coliseum a few hours, and I am still at dubious.

Try handing in 4 at a time
3 at a time
then 4.
I assume, if you kill one of the slaves but zone before he dies, there's a chance a special one will pop. Same with charming one.

Oh, yeah. Forgot to mention.
Handing in multiples of food at the same time was the same as handing in one food. Meaning, 1 faction hit for handing in 3 food, instead of 1 per 1 food.

What faction do you need before they will talk with you?

Where is Turlin in Riwwi? Can't seem to find him.
Also - anyone know what the following NPCs do/say:
Kayin Wanjala
Estuli
Iniba the Confused
Is there a specific place the named spawn? Ranguali asks for you to kill Taskmistress Krisz - kill many mobs in this zone and never seen her.
Is the An Officiator a place holder for a named?
Thanks for any info.
Also - to add info from my side . . .
Factioning. I started out at the default Glowers Dubiously and just turned Kindly.
went something like this . . .
Dubiously to Apprehensively 64 food turn ins.
Apprehensively to Indifferent 16 food turn ins.
Indifferent to Amiably 10 food turn ins.
Amiably to Kindly 85 food turn ins.
So about 175 turn ins to get from Dubious to Kindly.
You need Warmly for the named to respond to you - I know each level get harder, so it wouldn't surprise me if Kindly to Warmly is 150 or more turn ins.
Food can only be turned in as single items and the NPC will only take 8 before despawning. 175 may not sound like many turn ins but it has take about 10 hours of sitting around waiting for the NPCs that take the food to spawn. The regular slaves despawn nautrally and the Named slaves can spawn after the despawn - which is about 30 or so minutes. There are about 6 PH for the slaves and there is usually one or two named up at any given time.
Always hail them to seee what item they want, but here is a list:
Starving Yunjo - Something with Hynid
Emaciated Yunjo - Something with Crab
Famished Yunjo - Something with Tuna
Hungry Yunjo - Something with Cragbeast
Thursty Yunjo - Something with Spirits
I think there is another Thursty one that asks for Taelosian Tea.
Best thing to do is make a trip to bazaar and buy up about 60 of each type and camp out in Riwwi each night. Everythime you log out or log in check the Slaves. Eventually you will get the faction.

Re: ...
You can turn in 11 before they despawn and get 11 hits of faction
Turn in 4 unstacked, then 3, then 4 again

Inside one of the towers on the main open area of the zone.

That seems to be a raid mob, red con and hits for 3000+, saw it first day of release and not since.

Yes, specifically the one on the platform overlooking the arena.

Seems to me that it is random what they want, just look for ones with those names.
The thirsty one that asked for spirits was happy with Taelosian Tea, not sure if there is some alcohol that he would take as well.
I have only found these guys to spawn in those two buildings with a lot of slaves. Anyone found any other locations? (Each building has 3 slave spots, that spawn and despawn).

Sorry about that - I wrote down what the named were and what they wanted on my first turn in - didn't realize it was random. Anyway - the list still lets you know all the types of food to buy or make.

I have encountered Taskmistress Krisz once. She wandered from Ferubi to the arena, whacked the stuffing out of me at the arena, and despawned by the time I got back to my corpse.
That's right. She despawned. Probably was up no more than 45 minutes.
Stats on her include a long range AE snare, and she hit for 2325 in melee. Alas, my poor bardly HP was enough for only two hits, so I don't know if that's her max.
As for the named officiator, yes, the non-named officiator is her PH.
