New Hate, and the Shrieking Ahlspeiss?
Has anyone that's explored the revamped Hate seen the Shrieking Ahlspeiss drop (for the Sluggish Sketch quest)? It used to drop off of Abhorrents. I haven't been up to Hate yet, but was just wondering about other Rogue's experiences!! Thanks!

What's the name of the named? I was up there the other day and, like you, killed a bunch of the regular ones and hand no luck with the drop.

the named abhorrent is "The Avatar of Abhorrence"
or maybe its just "Avatar of Abhorrence"
the named avatar also drops rogue PoH BP's
13 to sta dex agi and AC or something like that.

One more thing I forgot to ask.......any idea where abouts the bugger spawns? We found 3 of the minis the other day that popped over a period of 10 hours of play, but never seen this guy show on track. Any help is greatly appreciated, as we're going up on Friday again to see if he'll show his face this time.

Hmmm, I killed around the Maestro building for 4 hours today in a group after mine. Saw a few of the old hate mini bosses for class specific armor, but no avatar. It seems however, that mini's are common around maestro building, totally random. At least that's the theory on Quellious

Been killing abhorrents for 2 weeks and nothing, got the Avatar of Abhorrence and he keeps dropping Vexthorned, where the hell is the shrieking asp? I want to get over with this sketch already.

i did Hate for about 4 hours yesterday. i saw one avatar and he dropped it. Guess i got lucky.
edit. he spawns right in NW corner of the zone (i believe its west of IZ). it is also the building right next to the enchanter epic named.

It took me 4 trips to hate to finally get the Avatar of Abhorrence to spawn in the place the map indicates.
The named did drop the Shrieking Ahlspiess and I now have my master poison sketch after completing the dip resist quest.

Does anyone have any info reguarding how rare AoA is? I've been in the new PoH quite a bit recently trying to get this part for the sketch, and am having no luck. First tried killing every abhorrent I saw, but after reading this post, tried to spawn the mini named instead, and have not yet been successful in this. I am at the right building, and am killing the abhorrent place holder.
Also several rogues I've talked to insist that the regular abhorrents can drop the Shrieking Ahlspeiss even after Revamp... any confirmation on this? Its getting extremely frusterating =/

I saw AoA twice in about 3-4 hours roughly two weeks ago. He dropped the ahlspeiss both times. As far as abhorrents or grim abhorrents dropping it, I haven't seen one drop it ever, We kill inny every 3 days....and I have helped numerous people with the marsinger gem quests so I have spent a lot of time in hate.

If you have questions on where mobs spawn in Hate...you might want to send Apothes a tell in game. Plays on Rodcet server and the guy lives in Hate...he somehow 4 boxes up there. He's the most knowledgeable person I know about that zone. Hope it helps and GL!

Roughly 30 hours of camping the Shrieking Ahlspeiss, and it finally paid off. Thanks to all who posted the tips and stopped me from only hunting the regular abhorrents.

AoA is one groupable. I did it in my early 60s with a 61 ranger, 61 enc, 62 rogue, clr, wiz and filler. Gear was velious at best, No TOV, VT or PoP gear.
