Re: Comedy Central's top 100 Stand ups...
Ones I'd put at the top (in no particular order): Bill Cosby, George Carlin, Lewis Black, The Amazing Johnathan, Ellen Degeneres, Rita Rudner and Seinfeld.

Hmm... as far as females deserving some recognition, I'd bet these women will be on the list: Roseanne Barr, Whoopi Goldberg, Ellen Degeneres, Judy Gold, Phyllis Diller, Rita Rudner and Joan Rivers.

I have a funny feeling they're just gonna fill out the bottom of the list with a slathering of mediocre Comedy Central standups. You know, the ones that you only see or hear of at all because CC has to put something on for this half hour and they've already played (insert craptacular 80's movie) 19 times this week.

The ratings were done by other stand ups, yes? That should get some fairly old and obscure names into the mix. It's also going to hurt Robin Williams considerably, the whole "industry" seems to hate him.

People keep saying this (well, OK, Joe Rogan, so I guess "sub-human" would be a more appropriate term), but I've never seen anyone exhibit anything but respect for Williams.
