Ikkinz raids.
Anybody know how often these raids respawn, the average time a raid takes, and the number of loots dropped by each named (and in each raid)?
Greately appreciated.

Re: Ikkinz raids.
As far as I am aware they are all instanced so don't really have a respawn timer as such.
They do have a lockout timer which you can see with Alt Z which updates as you progress through the raid with for want of a better term "waypoints"
Since the Ikkinz raids were tweaked up a bit we typically take anywhere from an hour to 3 hours depending on classes attending.
Named along the way seem to drop 1 loot each and final named 2-3 loots. Altar boss has dropped 3 every time we have done him, but many of the drops are Bard horns.

After participipating in what can only be called an uber ass-whipping I think raid 4 got tweaked again. We have done it with good sucess several times, but last night was different.
Re: Ikkinz raids.
5 bard horns in 2 trips to Ikkinz... Yes.. that sucks. How many bards do they think we have on a raid anyways?
Ikkinz raids have some very screwy itemization. They were very poorly thought out. You flat out do not need 6 mobs in 4 different raids dropping ranger elf shoes. How many rangers do they think we have with us on these raids?
Then again, they only put the rogue weapon on one mob in a single raid. Someone sure knew how to make sure rogues didnt all get geared up the first week of Ikkinz raids.
Ikkinz Raids 1, 2 and 3 have 4 day lockouts if you complete them.
Ikkinz Raid 4 has a 7 day lockout if you complete it.
Re: Ikkinz raids.
I can see how when you are going to Ikkinz more to farm than to flag it could become very tedious when alot of the mobs only drop one item and that one item has a good chance of being class specific. Whoever thought up the idea of mobs that need to be killed by specific classes needs to be kicked in the nuts though.
If the itemization was better, the # of loots per hour spent in zone is pretty decent. Overall, a lot of people need to be kicked in the nuts for how the Kod'taz stuff was set up.

It's silk and chain bps, leather and plate legs, there is no leather or plate bp, and no silk or chain legs.
Personally, while bard horns are not great, the absolute worst is the berserker tome, and the mage item isn't really that far behind. Atleast someone on your raid can loot the first few bard horns, not quite as likely with the tome.

Personally I am hoping the mage range drops next time we do Ikkinz 4, it sure as hell wouldnt rot.
Yea tho most of my guild feedbacks the horn - 1 dropping is ok, 2-3 dropping when you have 1-2 bards is just annoying as hell. and that seems to be per raid. Edited by: Belzipy at: 4/15/04 2:50 am

In our guild Chain BP goes to alts as well as AC shield and Mantle.
