Yep, it's definitely a love-fest, but there's a difference between love-fest and bunnymania. Talking about cuuuuuteness is bunny talk.
There's a fine line there, perhaps not as fine as the line between Good and Bad Tylers or the line between Sober and Soberoo, but still a line.

No, I'm with you 6tk.
It was about five years ago when I came to the official site, and I wasn't a Knights' fan then. But I gained a comraderie with you, beerbrothers, Erskinfan, Sec17, Biff Malibu and they steered me to the Voice.
What a pleasant alternative. No BS, no bunnies, no egos. All I remember is a lot of laughing from reading the posts. And impressed with the wit that went into those posts.
2001--New Arena--Yah, someplace on Sunningdale..they're diggin' there as we speak. No..Byron..you wouldn't believe the dirt they're movin' along Southdale.
Road hockey tournaments, beer drinking meetings. Where the hell is this big pond that LJ69 (Cap'n) keeps talking about. Clean and simple.
JRA doesn't fit on my 17" monitor and at my age, I don't adjust for anyone. Matt's site is very, very good. But for me, it has too many catagories. I feel that if I don't check them all, I might miss something special. Frustrating.
Sec17-OHLAG-Mommeso has an excellent site, if I'm going to Belleville and want to know everything I want to know. I don't have time to check it for anything else, sorry.
I really like this site because of it's simplicity. The mature Knights' fans can let it all out on this site. Feelings, intuitions, hopes and consequences. You can spill your guts and no one's going to get messy

I tend to agree with the Capn... I wish this place was ad-free so people would actually come to it. I only visit the Voice at home (where I know my security settings can handle it) and at work (where the computers are so old that it doesn't make a difference). I wouldn't come here if I wasn't secure.

If this place is missed so much then why don't any of you do something about it. I see a lot of whining about how great this once was, how out of date it now is...I threw an idea out that you all ignored, so here is another idea for you all to ignore.
Sign up on another board and have the cjb.net redirect there instead of to the ezboard.
Just another half brain idea from someone who could care less!!!

Sounds like a good idea Johnny. But since this is Erskine's board, some one has to convince him to make the move. I don't get the pop-ups or ads so I'm unaware of the hassle most people get. I don't know why...I just assume I have a couple mice that made a nest in my monitor and they eat any garbage that comes through. I fondly remember the Passion ads...before the mice moved in. It's not like it's difficult to pick up chicks in Appin, but after a while, the two that live here get a little boring.
This will be old news by the time you read this Johnny, but with your experience and charisma maybe you should apply for the manager's position at the new Hooters. I can almost picture you interviewing potential waitresses with your trusty tailor's tape. " 34 B...Declined...Next"

Can't disagree with you on the "push-up" thing - in fact the inventor of the push-up bra has my undying gratitude!!
Soooo, if RJ switches over to managing this new establishment (a position for which he appears eminently qualified) does that mean that the after game refreshments will be switching to Hooters??

I must say I personally think theres a difference between whining and chatting about what this place once was...and thats all I'm doing...luckily I realized that things have progressed and we have multiple different boards for various topics...and I frequent them all.

Yeah because the difference between my hiring practice and Hooters hiring practice is....oh wait my servers are not only hot, but they serve good food, cold beer, and have a personality! Hooters...well slightly chilled beer, average food and hot chicks...sorry speaking from experience here. I have been to 7 different Hooters Restaurants and nothing compares to Crabby's. Not tooting my own horn because I was a Crabby's customer for 4 years before I ever worked there.

Wow that's exactly what I wanted for my birthday too, but I was thinking more along the line of his girlfriend on a cake, spread wide open like and all you can eat buffet...hell forget the cake!
