Do you slot a flat ended screw driver down where it seems to join and twist forcing them apart ? Also the headlight globes - by the looks of things you don't have to remove the grill like on the KZN130 - is this right ? PS. Rego is due & I have to replace these two globes. Gill is correct for headlight the batterys are the best bet as you will break the clips on removel of the grill See my surf here beddo Centurion Posts: 163 (5/21/03 8:11:55 pm ) 203.80.162.11 Reply | Edit | Del Re: KZN185 Parker light replacement & headlight - how ? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yep it looks like the you can get to the headlights from behind - on the pre 95 models (before KZN185 shape) you had to take out the grill. Adam are you talking about the KZN130 or the 185 as they are totally different as the 185 is more like a Prado setup in many ways - only seems to be one screw that is on the very top & screws downwards not sideways. I hate forcing something to come when I have missed a simple step like squeeze here and the thing will pop out. The headlights are easiest if you remove the battery/ies and the coolant bottle from the passenger side. I have relaced both of my headlight globes and did it with the battery in place. It was a tight squeeze but not too difficult. With the parkers I'm pretty sure there is only one screw and a spear. I've only done it once and that was a long time ago. Just undo the screw and pull - there will be some resistance as the spear pulls through a rubber grommet. This is the same as the tail lights, if you ever get around to changing that busted brake light! Simon
