I like your definition of the economy better

On the taxes, I'll take any form of taxation that
(a) gives everyone a feeling of ownership for how our government pays taxes
-and-
(b) equitably taxes all individuals (within reason for cases of severe distress like true poverty, serious physical disability, etc.)

I definitely agree that only capitalism can work for any nation-state as a long term economic system.
