I don't know about all the EQ players or how they feel. But I have been playing for years and it sure as hell seems like Verant is trying to force people to spend money to upgrade then the launch of this expansion is a laughing stock. It pisses me the hell off that now after 3 versions of the game a 4 th comes out and they tell me that 128 MB ram ain't enough then now people say that 256 MB ram isin't enough well you know what... /rude Verant. Far as I am concerned they can rot in hell

You can bitch about Verant "forcing" (laf) you to up grade your PC all you want...never mind the fact that if you don't play SoL youll be forced to soon for some other program anyway.

/agree Kredal, I also think they should groom themselves by licking...like the ogre/trolls and scratching used to be. Then the flaming hairball of doom could be a random proc. Not only would it do damage, it would also lower cha of the victim.

Went with DDR --- down with RamBus!
I just picked up 256MB DDR333 for about $70 per stick to match my new 1.8ghz P4 and Hercules Prophet3 Ti500.
Now, just have to find the time to put all the parts together.
DDR333 is about the same performance as dual-channel RIMM memory, but is less expensive.
All this to run SoL... yep, I have my priorities straight.
