I can't believe I remember this url - and the login credentials!...just IMed Kalvaran and we have been catching up. Great to see so many familiar names. EQ was the first and last mmorpg I ever played - and it was an absolute blast. Some great memories, for sure. Glad to see everyone is doing well.
I think I still have screenshots on my pc in storage. Hopefully the drive still works. I'll see if I can dig them up.

Wow I recognize quite a few names on here. Sadly I've lost touch with everyone I once know in Tunare except for Javoryn. After the remnants of Exegesis left WoW Mal`Ganis I eventually joined real life buddies in playing horde on Chromaggus. Great to see so many familiar names again.
Project 99
Currently playing on Project 1999, classic EQ server - There is no multi-boxing allowed - Over 250 players so far and the server has only been live for a week or two. Check it out if you find yourself bored of WoW or whatever else you have been doing.
I don't have a ton of time to play these days due to my job but what time I have had has been spent reliving old memories. Grouped in North Ro for Derv's today. Made an epic run from Qeynos to Freeport, through highhold pass (Invisible) and Kith forest to be bound. It was pretty scary without maps.
Project 1999 is a Classic 1999 EQ experience, complete with the insanely difficult mechanics of the game at the time, but with the rewards for accomplishing what others could not. Just like in original EQ, you won't find many bad players at high level because most of them were incapable of attaining it.
So far with my play on the server I have found it a double edged blade honestly, once you have accepted the game has some outdated mechanics or overly harsh penaltys, it promotes good-play and sticking together to overcome steep odds - This can be very rewarding, or detrimental to the player depending on your choices and risk assessments. So far I've had a lot of fun both soloing and grouping (more so grouping) and my characters are only 10 and 12 so far (I rerolled from a Monk to a Necro) -
The community here is great so if you decide to stop by, post here or find me in game as Loretta.
