He sighed, as he carried his bags onwards from the Entrance Hall onto the Great Hall itself.
The memories remained...he never had reconciliated with her. Quite frankly, he didn't care either...they were right after all. Love, at his age, wouldn't work unless both sides were willing. Apparently, Tonianne's side chose to go after the adult life...and there he was, a mere shell of his own self.
He wondered when the others were going to get here...

"Well don't you look depressing?" Stephanie Martin asked, rolling her eyes at her friend with a loud bang from behind her. "Oh-um, oops," the blond added, almost sheepishly, as a hippo and a piano became visible-the hippo, unfortunately, was seated atop the piano, making awful combinations of notes on the black and white instrument.

"What the," was all he could say, before he found the images of a hippo seated atop a piano, making the loudest and worse noises one could hear in their entire lives. He covered his ears quickly, not impressed at all of this. "Well, aren't you as goofy as always?"

"And aren't you as cheerful as always?" came another voice from the hallway with a wand in hands, now levitating the hippo slowly away from above the keyboard and then dropping it besides it. With another wave of his wand, he then placed a spell onto the piano that began playing one of Mozart's classics. He brushed his blond hair aside, and looked cheerfully at the others. "So...this is our final year at last..."

"And to think, I almost didn't come back-oh, I know you'd have missed me," Steph laughed as she took a seat on top of the hippo and placed her head in her hands, flashing them a mock innocnet smile.

"Onee-san..." yelled out a voice coming down the West staircase, his bright green hair illuminating the focus upon him as he ran downwards, pointing towards the hippo. Another man followed him on the way down, a taller figure with dark blue hair, looking somewhat impressed as his younger twin pointed the hippo out. "Look at that..."
The older twin nodded. "Wow...it's the first time I've seen one of those face to face," he said, more to himself than anything else. He then recognized a face on the downstairs area, someone who also belonged to the Ravenclaw crowd as well. "Yo Strike..." he yelled out.
"Eh?" said Chris immediately, turning around to face the two twin brothers who looked almost nothing like twins, with the exception of their dark green eyes. "Oh...Raymer. What's going on?"

Haley grinned, as she walked towards Steph, Bryan, and Chris. She didn't know the other two, but got into the conversation soon enough to hear Steph. "Of course they're friends of Chris, and Bryan. Those two know just about everybody around here!" She teased, with a wink.

"I guess I'm on the outside of that then, huh?" came a voice of a sultry looking fourth year girl. She had dark brown hair and green eyes, and she had a mysterious smile on her face. She initially felt slightly rude for intruding on their conversation, but then again, how else was she supposed to meet anyone if she just stood on the sidelines and watched everyone else. That most definitely was not Murph's style.
"I'm Meredith Waldorf, by the way-my friends call me Murph," she said, extending her hand to the people standing around.

Haley smiled at the girl; she was quite pretty, which gave the blonde automatic respect for her. But then again, Haley respected many people, and many girls attending Hogwarts were beautiful. She stretched out her fragile, manicured hand.
"Pleased to meet you, I'm Haley Davis."She said, politely, in her sugary sweet yet seductive voice. "I'm guessing you're a newbie?" She asked.

"Wow-that obvious, huh?" Murph asked, making a goofy face as Haley asked if she was a newbie. "Won't stay that way for long, though," Murph added, her usual uncontainable smile now back on her pretty face.

Haley giggled at the girl's sarcasm. She could already tell that she wouldn't have a problem getting along with Murph. She then grinned, and looked to Steph, Bryan, and Chris. "Oh...These dorks are Steph Martin, Bryan Cade, and Chris Strike."She said, mainly teasingly to Steph, Bry, and Chris. She made a teasing face, and then winked towards her friends.

"Yeah, love you too, Haley," Steph said, rolling her eyes at the her pretty friend.
"Don't listen to her-she's just covering up her inner nerd by pointing fingers at us... Er, okay, so maybe these two are dorks," the mischievious blond said as an afterthought, indicating Chris and Bryan.

"It's great to know I'm loved!" She teased, and then looked to Chris and Bryan. She nodded, in agreeance to what Steph said.
"Yesh, those two are DEFINITELY the dorks." She continued to tease.

Haley studied Murph, trying to analyze her personality early-on. She watched as the younger girl checked out Chris and Bryan; she seemed amused, as was Haley when she had first met the two. Haley knew that Murph was out of her league, though. After all, Bryan and Steph had a 'thing' for eachother, and Chris was coping after the former Head Girl and his break-up. She had saw the apology letter that Toni had wrote to him in the sky of the Great Hall, and she knew that Toni was still head-over-heels in love with Chris. Too bad she had to leave Hogwarts, though.
Haley just giggled, though, and grinned at Murph. "That's good, 'cause a lot of people here are 'dorks.'" She said, in a teasing tone as she said dorks.

Haley laughed, she found Murph funny. She was a normal teenaged girl, just like Haley, and she knew exactly what was on her mind. "I'll see what I can do," She said, with a wink. "In the meantime, though, you'd have to deal with us." She teased.

"More like the dork duo actually," teased Chris at the newcomers, pounding Bryan in the biceps with a fist to the shoulder. Bryan responded with one as well.
Bryan chuckled at Haley, just for being herself in general. "Love ya too dear..." he said jokingly, approaching the ladies now alongside Chris.
Meanwhile, Shun and Ikki slid down the stairway in opposite sides, wondering at all the fuss of people arriving. The year was sure to be interesting...
