Haley couldn't help but grin as Steph left Lucas and her alone. Sure, she didn't want her good friend to leave, but she couldn't say she didn't mind being alone with Lucas. The blonde bombshell continued to dance, while grinning and looking at Lucas, fondly.
"So...now that we're alone...What's on your mind?" She asked, trying to start some small talk with the gorgeous guy in front of her.

"Well, I'm tempted to say this beautiful blonde girl that I may or may not be dancing with..." Lucas said mysteriously, his voice travelling off. "But maybe a safer choice would be the fact that I really like this song," he teased.

Haley looked around Lucas and herself, teasingly, as if she expected some other blonde girl to be dancing with him. She then looked back at him, and grinned, playfully. "Who's the girl?" She asked, while still grinning. "And since when have you been a 'safe guy?'" She added, with a flirtatious wink.

Chris smiled mysteriously at her sparkling blue eyes and that look she'd given the two of them. "What do you have in mind, my Queen?" he asked courteously, overexaggerating the words like the British would in some provinces. "I'm sure Court Dork Jester and the King of the Dorks would like to take part of it."
"'Ey...since when did I become the court jester," asked Bry back, a little too surprised for his own good.

The hall looked magnificent with its wonderful welcome back decorations up. Melody just hoped she looked as magnificent and wonderful. She was wearing a cute ruffle black skirt that came up to her mid-thigh and she had worn a green top that made her blue-green eyes stand out. Her hair was down and her very dark brown hair cascaded down her back in waves.
Despite her doubts, Melody looked wonderful, now she just had to find someone to talk to. There were very few people her age that were at the dance. Unsure of where to go, Melody sat at one of the tables to decide what to do. She could always go up to the dorm and forget the dance. But Melody wasn't the kind to skip out on a perfectly good dance.

It wasn't too long after the 3rd year Ravenclaw entered the Great Hall that Julie Carmichael entered as well. It was her last welcome back dance, and Julie wanted it to be her best. She had many accomplishments, one being making Headgirl. Now all she wanted was to change her status of being single. It wasn't as if she was some loser, she just was busy with school work to worry about guys.
It was her seventh year though and she was ready to meet someone. She had dressed a little different than the norm. Instead of her jeans and t-shirt, Julie was wearing a red skirt that showed off her long tan legs. She had paired it with a black v-neck shirt that showed her curves. Her normally straight brown hair had been softly curled so that it framed her sweet-looking face that held her wide brown eyes.
Looking around she didn't see many people she knew so she stood on the edge of the dance floor, looking for someone to dance with. Tonight she was ready to have fun and to just dance the night away.

"So, how have things been since dinner?" Hyoga then asked Murph, as they began making their way through the crowd, trying to find a spot to dance. He finally found something in the center and then proceeded to guide both of them towards it. "I mean...errrrr...then again, I must not remember what I meant to say."

At another corner, Shun had finally managed to then hold his hand towards Gabby. "Shall we then?" he asked, his face still somewhat blushing.

A tan Californian boy entered the Great Hall, a broad grin on his face; as always. His big brown eyes searched the hall, scoping out the potential of the girls at the dance. Danny Klark had to admitt, he was intrigued. So many gorgeous ladies; so little time. But one certain brunette caught his eye; and that brunette was Brooke Bovay.
Danny quickly fixed his baby blue polo shirt's collar, popping it up a tad bit. His jeans were none-other than Armani Exchange, and matched his shirt perfectly. To top it all off, the cute boy's hair was spiked up, instead of hidden under a hat. He was normally quite a self-conscious guy, one who didn'y exactly understand why 'the ladies' found him so attractive; but tonight, even the most self-conscious person in the world would say they were looking awesome, if they were him.
The brunette boy's long legs carried him across the hall, and over towards Brooke and Allie; whom he met earlier in the day. "Hey, gals." He said, with a charming smile, and a flirtatious wink. "How have you lovely ladies been since I've seen you earlier?" He asked, his voice lingering with flirtation.
