Kristin was so tempted to roll her eyes at Brooke in disgust. Her friend was notorious for being a boy stealer, after all.
"Hey Ryan-I'm glad you came," Kristin said with her mysterious smile, then added, "And it's a pleasure to meet you, Allie." She chuckled lightly as the girl beside her emerged to introduce herself as well.

Ryan eyed Brooke; was she purring at him? She was a cute girl, but, by the way she was acting so far, didn't seem like Ryan's type. "It's nice to meet you, too." He said, before grinning nervously, and looking back at Kristin, whom was smiling her mysterious grin, once again. He blushed, slightly.
"Yeah, I'm glad I came, too. Normally this isn't my type of thing...But, um...Whatever." Ryan said, starting to feel a bit more comfortable with talking to Kristin. "So..uh...Do you wanna dance?" He asked her, nervously, while grinning his dazzling grin.

"You know, dancing sounds great right about now," Kristin said with an agreeable smile, offering her hand to Ryan. She was bubbling with excitement-not only was she getting to dance with a boy she might just like, but the look on Brooke's face was priceless.

I will call you Allie, also." Allie suggested, politely.

He then took Kristin's hand in his, and gently led her out onto the floor. He began to dance with her, while a grin appeared on his face.

Clad upon his "armor," which made out for a nice costume...somewhat girly, as Seiya "kindly" pointed out (even though it's more of a metallic red than pink anyways), he looked around the Great Hall and its decorations. It looked as nice as always, but he wasn't there to just admire. He'd been waiting to do something like this for a while now...to finally have the guts of asking Gabriella to dance.
Gulping his fears for a moment, he momentarily made his way towards a girl that resembled him in some traits...someone he's been wanting to really get to know for a long time. "Gabby?" he asked curiously, tapping her on the shoulder slightly, hoping he wouldn't scare her.

As for Hyoga, he'd separated from Shiryu and Seiya who were too busy getting themselves punch. He'd been focusing more on a certain arrangement he made with a girl that resembled himself and his friends in so many ways...without their moms or dads around to protect, or guide them.
He smiled, as he approached Murph, hoping she hadn't forgotten their little date. "You look gorgeous tonight," he managed to say, in a very complimentary voice. He then extended his right hand towards her and pointed to the people dancing. "Shall we?"

Gabby was a bit surprised to feel a tap on her shoulder, but she slowly turned around, her brilliant blue eyes shocked to see the face of Shun-but not shocked in a bad way, no, not at all.
"Hey, Shun," she said shyly, "How are you?" she asked. She wasn't quite sure what he wanted with her, but even though she barely knew him, she trusted him, and her radiant but shy smile lit up at the sight of him.

"I'm alright...sorry if I startled you," he replied quickly, smiling warmly...blushing slightly, as he usually did around her. Maybe this wasn't going to work...and that maybe after he got to know her a little more...
But then again, it was in between this, or having to get poked fun at by Seiya and reprihanded by his own older brother, who had faith in him of all things. He gulped his fears aside. "I'm just wondering...would you like to dance? With me?"

Steph chuckled lightly, wathcing the younger kids, and decided it might be nice to leave Haley and Lucas again-she had an inkling they might appreciate it. So she strode over to Chris and Bryan, putting an arm lazily around each.
"I figured I'd be a nice matchmaker tonight," she said with a shake of her head, indicating Haley and Lucas.

Gabby blinked, a bit taken aback by Shun's offer. She hadn't been expecting it-she wasn't much of a dancer, after all-but she would be a liar if she pretended she wasn't pleased. Her pale cheeks flushed a bit, and she nodded. "I'd love to," she said quietly.

He couldn't believe his eyes...she had actually accepted? His eyes looked like that he could jump for joy at any second, but he placed a few restraints on himself. He'd enjoy the dance first, and then maybe break out screaming after he left the castle...
"I'm-I'm glad," he managed to say, smiling as he could be seen blushing. "I thought you wouldn't accept at first...due to...both of us barely knowing each other."

"I think you succeeded," replied Chris, a little surprised at her right arm coming around his shoulders. He looked on proudly as well for a moment, before turning towards Steph. "Sooooo...shall we escort thee to thine throne, o Mischief Queen?" he said teasingly, his dark brown eyes glittering along due to the lights and such.
"We need a throne first, you idiot," came in Bryan, putting his own right arm around Steph's shoulders, looking at her with a big grin. "I'm sure the Queen would like something soft to sit her bottom on..."

"Are you lot crazy? Me, sit down? Tsk, tsk, I expect more of my slaves," Steph said, shaking her blond hair so that it covered her face momentarily before falling back at her shoulders.
"Always in constant motion, sillies-I don't have time to waste sitting around like a lazy butt. There's mischief to cause-after all, I haven't got much else to do at these things, never have," Steph said, her blue eyes sparkling mischieviously.
