hii! over here! "Aiite. Whatever you like." EPA unties the rosary sageo around and draws the Muramasa katana. Considerably shorter than his nine-footer. "It's not the size that matters, but how you use it!" ooc: i'll take the initiative if you wouldn't mind, but "at your shoulder" isn't very descriptive. is it vertical? or horizontal? above the head or across the body? is the blade angled? is the edge angled in a particular direction? or is the blade being held outwards? edge up or down? and which shoulder? i want to be the wind. to drive away the clouds. to bring peace and still heavy hearts. to race across the corners of the world. to raise dust to blot out the sun. to chill their souls and drive them to shelter behind stone walls. to soar unrestricted over all. i want to carry people to unimaginable heights with their wings. i want to crush them into the earth and drive them deeper until they are swallowed and mingle with the warm red dust. i want absolute freedom never to be captured or held down. except by the thin confines of the sky by the nihlist vacuum. |

the blade is above my head on the right shoulder and you can have intiative rotatates sword clockwise to get ready

Re: hii! over here! EPA charges at Xavier, coming in a very slight (barely perceptible) arc at his (Xavier's) left side. The katana is held in his right hand, just off the bottom of his ribcage, and angled diagonally upwards and forwards. The edge is facing out so that the blade curves upwards and inwards. The right hand is gripping tightly at the top of the handle, right under the tsuba. Re: hii! over here! Tank: nice move but Xavier puts sword into ground and takes the shot springs back to his feet then charges towards epa and then holds out hand and forms a purple ball and aims right below him causing the ground to lift up under him and kicks him into the ground Tank: your move |

Re: hii! over here! ooc: erm... i didnt even hit you yet... i'm starting at least 10.5 feet (9 feet sword reach and estimated 1.5 feet for a striking step) away from you... there's no way anyone could have gotten to you in a frontal attack before you could react. i'd gess you'd have enuf time for one strike at maximum range then mebbe a quick guard change. less if you strike at shorter range. also, it's a lil hard (or impossible ^_^;;) to push yourself off the ground with a 9 foot long sword, or any weapon longer than your arm reach from whatever position you're jumping/getting up from. it mite be possible standing up and with a flexible semi-rigid weapon (perhaps a spear, altho semi-rigid prolly wouldnt be a good thing to have then). okay... so anyway. rite now, epa is closing on tank and tank is still in his original guard. epa has just entered the limits of your immediate range (about 10.5 feet). attack or defend or run and lob fireballs at him or whatever you like. but i havent hit you yet. are my posts really that unclear??? Re: hii! over here! ooc: yeah, i expected s'th like that ^_^ its not s'th dat could be done with an earthly sword anyway ^_^ but even still, the blow should knock it off balance so you'd have to come down. or mebbe not. whatever works. "I suppose you're right. I really can't jump that high either. And I wouldn't be able to balance myself on a curved sword like that. Not that I'd want to... It'd be rather disadvantageous for me and it'd prolly be real uncomfortable to sit up there on the handle like that. But ah... mebbe you can come back down?
