look story yeppppp Young Warrior Chapter 1 “Sidus…. Sidus!. SIDUS!!!!!!!!!” “WAAAAA!!!! Wha?” Sidus awoke half scared “Do you know the answer?” the teacher asked, “What answer?” some of the students laughed, “What is half of 173?” “I have no idea.” “You need to start paying attention young man,” The teacher scowled “and stop sleeping in my class.” “Yeah but I bet you slept last night. Too many strange things were happening to me. My sword falling off the wall and about stabbing me, the light fixture came crashing down good thong I forget something in my room or it would of killed me. Not to mention other strange things I can’t explain.” Sidus was thinking “To get the measure of this side do-“ ‘ringgg; the bell cut the teacher off “Guess I’ll finish that tomorrow “Break time alright I’m hungry!” Sidus said. When Sidus got to the break line a huge line was there. “Man, hey Ben got my break will you?” Sidus asked “Sure.” Sidus leaned on the lockers waiting. “Excuse me.” A girl said “Oh sorry, guess I’m in the way.” Sidus moved over. About three seconds later five daggers came flying out of nowhere and almost hitting Sidus “WAAAAAAA!!!!! What the heck?” Sidus pulls one of them out and looks it over before it turns to light and disappears “Hey whoa what the heck?” Sidus waves his hands around where the dagger was. “OK that was weird. Well about has weird has everything else is today.” Hours later at lunch Sidus was eating not sitting with no one because the people he talks to were sick or something. It was growing dark outside with rain clouds “Looks like it’s about to rain. All right I love the rain hope we get the works.” Soon the roof blew off the lunchroom and most of the walls went with it. “DANG! I DIDN”T MEAN THIS WORKS!!” Sidus looked up into the sky “Well good thing it aint raining yet, so it won’t spoil my food!” Sidus kept eating until a light fell from the sky them erupted and a man stood there and walked toward Sidus “Are you Sidus?” the man asked Sidus turned around and looked up at the man “YYYes.” The man extended his arm “I have been looking for you for five long years.” He said Sidus looked at the hole where the roof used to be “….You sure now how to make an entrance don’t ya?” Sidus said as he shook his hand noticing a sword tied to the man’s hip and five daggers that looked very familiar. “Name is Rajie.” “Well that’s a different name.” Sidus said “So why were you looking for me?” Sidus asked, “It was six years ago when I first felt you.” “Felt me?” “Yes, sensed your energy. I then knew that…. YOU ARE A THREAT!!!!!” Rajie yelled as he pulled out his sword and swung it down where Sidus was sitting “WAAAAAAA!!!!!!” Sidus rolled off the side of the seat and into the floor “Why the fudge you wanna kill me I didn’t do anything!” Sidus yelled then thought for a minute “At least I don’t think so I don’t have the best memory.” Sidus stood up “Wow these teachers here are scared of you they ain’t even moving… Either that or they just hate me.” “AHH! You talk to much!” Rajie yelled as he took another swing “As for the reason for killing you it happened when you were ten years old.” “Ten? Sorry can’t remember, my memory sucks.” Sidus said poking his head “Anyway it was about 2:00 in the afternoon on this very day, you were in the gym with about twenty-six other people. One boy was picking on a girl you really liked I guess because you got really mad and started defending her even fought for her. Even though you lost at one time during that fight if someone didn’t yell at you, you could of taken out the person with just one hit.” Rajie explained, “You gotta tell me how I can do this?” Sidus asked “Ha! Of course not! Now to much talk you die now!” Rajie run towards Sidus swinging his sword, Sidus barely dodging each strike “Man this ain’t cool!” Sidus complained as he tripped over a sign that warned people that the floor was wet. Sidus quickly picked the sign up and put in front of him to block the sword. Rajie jammed the sword through the sign getting it stuck. “Ha! Cool!” Sidus twisted the sign jerking the sword out of Rajie hand and sending it flying across the lunchroom “Ahhh three points for Sidus! WOO!” Sidus yelled “Not quite.” Rajie said as he pulled out the five daggers and threw them at Sidus who dodged them easily “Ahhh! I know who you are! You’re the one who has been doing all the freaky stuff to me!” Sidus said “And you’re out of weapons! No more and I’ll bet your no good at hand to hand combat.” Sidus said “Well your right about one thing.” Rajie said as he put his hand up “I suck at hand fighting.” Rajie the fired a flat beam of energy at Sidus “WHOA!” Sidus yelled as he ducked the energy and watched it slash clean through the wall “Not cool…” Sidus said uneasily Rajie shot more of the cutting beams at Sidus. Sidus jumped and ducked them “Haha I ain’t the dodge ball king for nothing here!” Rajie said nothing but shot more Sidus ran across the lunchroom and saw one bounced off the sword, and Sidus got an idea Sidus ran for the sword dodging more of the cutting beams. He dove for the sword and rolled then held it up facing Rajie, as soon as he touched it Sidus felt a sudden warmth come over him, but the next cutting beam was already to close it cut a huge gash on Sidus’s face with lighting flashing in the sky and blood running from his face Sidus charged Rajie and cut of his hand. Lighting flashed in the sky again “Aww, very good better then I thought,” sirens were heard outside “well time for me to go.” Rajie said with that Rajie disappeared the same way he came along with the daggers but the sword remained in Sidus’ hand. Chapter 2 “So why did you do it?” “Ain’t that a dumb question? I mean why would I cut off some guy’s hand that was shooting sharp things at me Mr. Bonds?” Sidus asked, “You could of waited for a teacher to deal with it.” Mr. Bonds said “A teacher? Ha, all of ya looked like you were going to soil your underwear!” Sidus yelled “OK, that is it,” Bonds said standing up slamming his hands o the table “I have had it with your mouth.” He pulled out a peace of paper and started to write on it, and pushed it to Sidus “Sign it.” “What’s it say?” Sidus picked up the paper and looked it over “…. ASSULTING A TEACHER?! WHEN DID I DO THAT?!” Sidus yelled “Just now.” Bonds said, “Well you know what I think of this?” Sidus said as he picked up the paper “What?” Sidus slowly tour the paper up about five times and threw it into Bonds face “That.” Sidus said and walked out. “Can’t believe you did that Sidus. I mean… Just wow no one has ever done that to Bonds before.” Lance said, Sidus’ best friend, “Well he made me mad. So we still camping out tonight?” Sidus asked “Yep I’m already packed. Hey, you wanna ask the girls if they want to come with us?” “Sure! I know Carris has nothing to do tonight for sure and if Carris goes Zea will for sure.” Sidus said “Yeah you got a point.” Lance said “Lets spit up faster that way.” Sidus said Lance and Sidus went off in different directions. “OK, just a girl no big deal you can do this.” Sidus takes a deep breath and rings the doorbell on Carris’ house. The door opened and Carris, a girl about 5’9 short brown hair and green eyes, stood there “Oh hi Sidus what you need?” she asked “Uhhh I w-w-was just wondering if you wanted to come camping with me and Lance tonight?” “Well sure I would love too.” Carris said “OK! Well I’m gotta go now. B-bye.” Sidus shuddered. “Heheh, bye Sidus.” Sidus let out a big sigh and walked down to where Lance was waiting, and inside Carris did the same and let out a big smile. “So Sidus how did it go?” Sidus give a thumbs up “So now you get to ask Zea.” Sidus said, “You wait here back bit in a bit.” Lance said “Alrighty.” Lance walked down to Zea’s house and knocked on the door with is customary knock, the door opened and Zea stood there, Zea is a 5’6, long black hair, and with ice blue eyes, “Hey Lance what you doing?” Zea asked “Hey there Zea! Would you like to camp out with Carris, Sidus, and myself tonight?” Lance asked. Zea started jumping up and down “Sure! I haven’t had anything to do for a while now!” “Alright see you then.” Lance said. Lance walked back up to Sidus and Shotse, the neighbor hood dog came running up beside him, “Alright looks like we have a full tent Sidus!” Lance said, “OK, lets go set up. You think we should set up the smaller one for the girls?” Sidus asked, “Might be a good idea.” Lance answered. So Sidus and Lance went and got the tent and started to set it up in the woods. “So were are the directions Sidus?” Lance asked “You kidding? We don’t need them, we can find out on our own.” Sidus said. Sidus and Lance continued to try to set up the tent “WOOOO!!!!!!!! I don’t think that’s right.” Sidus said “Ummm I believe we have the tent on the fame sideways Sidus.” Lance said Lance and Sidus turned the tent around and snapped it onto the frame and then connected the smaller tent to the larger one with a small tunnel that came off the bigger tent. “I believe that’s it!” Sidus said “Yep it looks about right.” Lance said. “Sidus? Lance? You guys here?” Carris asked standing next to the tent with Zea “Maybe they haven’t gotten here yet.” Zea said “AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!” Sidus yelled as he fall out of a tree and landed behind Carris and Zea “Owww, that hurt.” “Sidus you alright?!” Carris asked “Yeah I’m good just fall out of the tree.” “Why where you in the tree?” Zea asked “Setting up a camera.” Sidus answered “Why?” “Well after what happened at school today I ain’t to sure.” Sidus said. “Hey Sidus you got everything set up?” Lance asked “Yep alarm and all.” The four went into the tent for the night. Later in the night a small beeping sound came from Lance’s belt, it kept going for about five mintues until Zea heard it and rolled over “Hey Lance, your beeping.” Lance woke up “I am? How about that we got a guest coming our way. Wake up everyone.” Zea woke up Carris and Sidus up “Ahhh, what time is it?” Sidus asked “2:30 in the morning.” Carris said “What going on Lance why you wakening me up?” Sidus asked, “Someone is coming.” Lance answered “Uh-oh is it our buddy?” Sidus asked “No smaller size of a dog about.” “Wolf? Are there wolfs around here you guys?” Carris asked. “No none at all.” Sidus said “Well whatever it is its sitting right by the door of the tent right now.” Lance said Sidus walked over to the door and grasped the zipper “Wait what are you doing?!” Zea asked, “I wanna know what the thing is.” “Why?” Zea asked “Cuz I do..” Sidus unzipped the door and let it fall to the ground. A dark figure sat in the darkness staring inside the tent. Carris shone the light on it “Oh, its only Shotse.” Lance said. Everyone let out a sigh “I beg to differ I’m more then just a name.” Shotse said, everyone just sat there with their mouths and eyes wide open “WHOA!!! Cool you can talk Shotse!!!” Sidus yelled, “Yes but lets not dwell on that someone is coming to get you Sidus.” Shotse said, “Oh boy, great at 2:00 in the morning this guy must have no life at all.” Chapter 3 “Ok everyone know what to do?” Sidus asked “Yep good to go.” Zea said, “Where is Rajie at Lance?” Sidus asked “About 500 yards always.” “OK lets get going.” Sidus said. The four walked out of the tent and Sidus pulled out the sword he got from Rajie earier that day and cut long slashes in the tent “You sure you wanna do that to the tent Sidus?” Carris asked, “Sure, it can be fixed easy anyway. Ok Zea go up in this tree and Carris get into that one over there. Lance your down here with me, you get the sword from my room?” Sidus asked “Yep right here.” Lance answered as he pulled the sword out “Ok now we wait.” “He should be right up here.” Rajie said as he looked around a tree “Ah there you are Sidus – and it looks like you have a friend, good someone else for me to kill.” Rajie said, “Wow you are sad.” Lance said, “Told ya so. He crazy.” Sidus said “Crazy am I? I’ll saw you crazy.” Rajie said as he pulled out a sword. Rajie ran toward Sidus with his sword raised. Sidus just stood there like a rock he looked toward the trees Carris and Zea were sitting in out of the side of his eye, he twirled his sword in a circle “That’s the single.” Zea said to herself, she and Carris both shot arrows and nets tied to them toward Rajie which wrapped around him and trapped him “Yeah great shot!!” Carris shouted, “Hahaha, you think this will hold me?” Rajie asked grapping the net and ripped it right down the middle. “…Whoa that’s not good Sidus.” Lance said amazed “Ok plan B. ATTACK!!!” Sidus yelled Sidus and Lance both ran at Rajie swinging there swords at his unguarded areas—but Rajie countered them easy “Haha, you guys are sad.” Rajie said as he slammed the handle of his sword into Lance’s face sending him flying into a tree. Sidus then lead Rajie so that his back was to Lance so that he could grab him from behind. “So Rajie ever gotten beaten before?” Sidus asked, “Only you have had that honor.” Rajie answered blocking one of Sidus’ swings from his sword “Well guess what?” Sidus said as he nodded at Lance “What?” “Your about to get beaten again.” Sidus yelled as Lance tackled Rajie from behind knocking the sword from his hands. Lance then grapped Rajie’s arms and pinned them behind his back “What! How did you get back there?!” Rajie demanded, “Come one you’re the one who hit me back here think you would remember.” Lance said. Zea and Carris came out of the trees and walked beside Sidus “Wow your kinda ugly.” Zea said. Rajie started laughing “Hahaha. Hahahahahaha! You think you can hold me? I know when I’m beaten, yes I’ll admit that, but I can always escape.” He said. A cloud of blue smoke appeared from under Rajie and covered him when it disappeared Rajie was gone. Lance fell to the ground “Ahhh where did he go?” Lance asked, “I think he teleported or something.” Carris said “Well either why I’m sleepy and going back to bed.” Sidus said, “What if he comes back in a minute?” Zea asked “Who heard what he said, he knows when he is beaten I doubt he will come back tonight.” The next day at school was no picnic for Sidus, seeing that not many people like him as it is and he was still sore from last night. “Great this is about he worst day I have had for the longest time. Well since yesterday at least.” Sidus sat down in his chair in his 3rd block class. “So Sidus gotta have some guy try and kill you again during lunch?” Berry asked, a kid in Sidus’ class, “Gee I don’t know, if one does I’ll be sure to use you as a human shield.” Sidus answered back “What an idiot.” Sidus said to himself “Sidus? You’re here today didn’t think you would come after what happened yesterday.” The teacher asked “Well I’m not about to get scared off that easy.” Sidus answered, “How did your camping trip go—Sidus?” a voice asked “…The heck?” Sidus looked around “Come on you know who I am.” The voice said “I know who…. Oh, what you want Rajie? IN fact where are you?” “You can’t see me, I’m speaking to your mind.” Rajie said “Oh well I don’t care, not even going to listen.” Sidus said, “You might wait to, wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to Carris would you? She’s here with me.” “Stop lying I don’t believe you.” “Well maybe this will change your mind.” An image if Carris appeared on the computer screen that Sidus was sitting in front of. “Man that sucks.” Sidus said Rajie stepped into the picture so he could be seen “Come to the State Park tonight at midnight if you want to get her back.” Rajie said “Sidus don’t listen it’s a trap!!” Carris yelled “Oh come on I can’t help it someone if trouble I got to do something about it, mainly if it’s a girl.” Sidus answered. “Well see you tonight then. Oh! And don’t even think about bringing your friends this time.” With that the screen snapped off and went black. “Ummm, Sidus who were you talking to?” a girl asked, “You could hear me? Dang could of sore I was talking with my mind.” “No you were talking out loud.” She answered. Chapter 4 “He got Carris, how?” Lance asked, “I have no freaking idea! But he just popped up on the dang computer screen and blah blah blah.” Sidus said, “Well Zea is good with a bow and I can use daggers. I say we all go and bust him up!” Lance yelled “Yeah I’m all up for that, but he said not to bring anyone else, Carris also said it was a trap.” Sidus said getting a bit depressed “All the more reason to bring us along.” Lance said “Well alright but only come if I’m in big trouble or if I got Rajie busy and you can slip Carris out without being seen. Don’t want to get her in more danger” Sidus said “Why you got a thing for her?” “Oh shut up! You know I do just like you got one for Zea.” Sidus said poking Lance in the arm. Sidus and Lance walked to their houses to get ready. Lance called Zea and let her in on the current situation. At 10:00 the three meet in the middle of their cul-de-sac to go the State Park. “Ok Zea Lance told you the only time I want you to come out right?” Sidus asked, “Yes.” “Ok good lets go.” Sidus, Lance, and Zea started walking towards to park. “Wow that full moon sure does make everything brighter.” Lance said, “Well at least we can see.” Zea said. Sidus remained quiet; Zea leaned over towards Lance “What’s up with Sidus? I have never seen him like this before.” She asked “He has a thing for Carris.” Lance answered “Ohhh, ok.” “Yeah, like Lance has a thing for you Zea.” Sidus said, “What you say that for?” Lance asked turning red slightly “Sorry impulse.” “You like me Lance?” Zea asked, “Ummm, Oh look the park!” Lance said has he ran ahead. The park was a normal one expect for the fact a chain link fence around the whole place. A lake circled around the left edge. “So were are they at?” Zea asked “By the lake.” Sidus answered. They walked over to the lake and Sidus stopped by a large tree. “You guys wait here.” He told Lance and Zea. Sidus walked up to where Rajie was waiting. “So you came.” Rajie said, “Like I was going to sit at home. So what do you want Rajie?” “Well I’ve come up with an idea. You can either join me, or die your choice.” he said “Wow that’s a dumb question you fool.” Sidus said as he pulled out his sword “I assume this answers your question.” Sidus asked “Foolish choice.” Raije pulled out his sword and a standoff began. “So when do you think a good time to go and get Carris would be?” Zea asked, “Most likely when Rajie is attacking a lot or when Sidus is he’ll be focusing on that, then we make our move.” Lance answered. Sidus ran toward Rajie and took a swing, but Rajie jumped into the air evading the strike “Oh man this is got to be a bit harder then the other fights we have had I see.” Sidus said, “Yes, I’m not going to holding back as much this fight as I have in the others.” Rajie ran towards Sidus and started making wild swings with his sword. “Ok now is a good time to get Carris!” Lance yelled “Long way around lets go.” He added. Lance and Zea quietly ran around the battle ground and to the pole Carris was tied to “Hey there Carris what you doing around here?” Zea asked cheerfully “Zea! Happy to see you.” Carris said “Hey what about me?” Lance asked joking “Sure you too. So you guys wanna untie me?” Lance worked on the knot and finally used one of his daggers to cut the rope “Why didn’t you just do that in the first place Lance?” Zea asked “I have no idea don’t ask me that.” Lance answered, “Sidus is in trouble you guys,” Carris said. While Lance and Zea were getting Carris free Sidus had been pushed back to the edge of the lake “We gotta do something.” Zea said, “I’ll go.” Lance said, as he pulled out both his daggers “No I wanna try something.” Carris said. She placed her hands end to end as fire started to flicker inside of them, soon a fireball was floating inside Carris’ hands “Whoa that’s cool. Where did you learn to do that?” Zea asked “Rajie must have been bored while waiting for Sidus to get here because he was doing all kinds of thins like this and I picked up a few things while I was waiting, first time I ever used it though.” Carris said, she let the fireball grow a bit bigger before holding it in one hand. “Lets just see how good I am with this.” Carris said as she threw the fireball toward Rajie. It hit him in the middle of his back burning through his shirt and slightly burning his back “AHHHH! You fool!” Rajie shouted as he turned toward Carris and started to run toward her. “Oh no you don’t!” Sidus said as he slammed his sword into Rajie’s back. “AHHH!!!! That’s it I have had it!!!” Rajie yelled “Uh-oh think I made him mad.” Sidus said. Lance, Carris, and Zea all gathered around Sidus “I think we have him beat.” Lance said, “That’s what you think!” Rajie yelled as his pushed put his hand and shot forth a blue tunnel. “What the heck is this?” Zea asked, “I don’t know but whatever it is I don’t think it was supposed to hurt us anyway.” Sidus said, “Feels like were going backwards.” Carris said. Soon the tunnel disappeared and the four were standing in a forest and Rajie was gone. “Where are we? There ain’t this many trees in the park.” Lance said. Soon Zea heard leaves crunching under feet. “I think he is coming back though.” Zea said. The figure came out of the trees and had the front body part of an eagle and the back was something like a lion. “What is that thing?” Sidus asked “Its…a griffin.” Lance said. The griffin walked up to the group “Welcome to the Forest of Impressions!” Chater 5 “Where on earth is the Forest of Impressions?” Lance asked leaning towards Sidus “I don’t think it is on earth.” “Earth.” The griffin said, “Where is this earth?” “Earth is a planet,” Zea said “this is earth ain’t it?” “I don’t this earth but this planet is known as Kentores, and my name is Asador.” The griffin said “We ain’t in Kansas anymore.” Carris said “Screw Kansas! We ain’t even on earth!” Sidus said “Say you guys can’t fly can you?” Asador asked “No, ….Why?” Zea asked, “You need to get out of here fast,” Asador said, “This forest hates humans.” “Whoa wait, you mean this forest is alive as in moving?” Lance asked, “Yes.” “That sucks, a forest that wants to kill us.” Sidus said “If you wish to know more about this place meet me at the Descert Mountains.” Asador said has he flew away. “This is screwed up.” Zea said. The four walked through the woods looking at different plants and trees, however unknown to them a flower, which looked like a spider, was watching them after a few more seconds it ran off into the forest. It stopped in front of a large wolf like creature and squeaked a few things before running off. The wolf creature let out a low growl as it stood up and went after Sidus and the others. “This place is kinda cool looking, to bad it wants to hates us.” Sidus said “Well lets just find a way out of here before the forest finds out how it wants to kill us.” Zea said. The wolf creature was staring at the group though the trees “No one come into Isobutane’s home and live, Isobutane kill them!!” Isobutane ran towards Sidus and the others roaring as loud as he could “What is that sound?” Zea asked “I don’t know, whatever it is its getting closer.” Lance. Then Isobutane burst out of the trees and stood in front of the group “I think the forest found out how it wants to kill us.” Carris said “Yeah I agree with that.” Sidus said “Isobutane hate humans!! He kill them now!!!” Isobutane yelled, “Whoa that thing is huge!!!” Lance yelled “Isobutane kill loud human first” Isobutane started to walk towards Lance. Lance pulled out his two daggers and charged at the wolf creature slashing first at its leg, which was really the only thing that Lance could reach because Isobutane was so tall, “Hahaha human dumb if think he can beat Isobutane” Isobutane reached down and picked Lance up and threw him into a very big tree and knocked him out. “Whoa!! Ok it’s my turn now.” Sidus said as he pulled out his sword and ran towards the big wolf Isobutane swinged his arm down in an attempt the kill Sidus with his claw but Sidus rolled to the side and slammed his sword into Isobutane’s wrist, but the blade just bounced off the skin harmlessly. “WAAA!!! That’s not cool!” Sidus yelled as Isobutane kicked Sidus across the ground and into a bush. Zea pulled out a bow and Carris started to make a fireball but a booming voice rang throughout the woods “Isobutane! What do you think you are doing?!” “Parfum? Isobutane kill humans that enter forest.” Isobutane complained “You know you are not allowed to leave your part of the forest now you will pay for disobeying!!” Parfum yelled. A huge root came out of the ground and slammed into Isobutane “Please Parfum Isobutane sorry!!!!!” Isobutane yelled as more roots wrapped around him “You will die.” Parfum said as more roots completely covered Isobutane and began to squeeze him “No Parfum… Isobutane….” The roots recede as Isobutane’s body fell limply to the ground. Sidus looked out from under the bush “That was scary.” he said Lance also awoke “Owwww, man do I have a headache.” Lance looked over at Isobutane’s dead body “What happened to him?” Lance asked, “I think a tree killed him.” Zea said pointing to a root that was pulling back into the ground. “So you are the humans that Isobutane was after.” Parfum said, “I guess so, thanks for helping.” Sidus said “Helping? I was punishing Isobutane for leaving his area of the forest. I’m the ruler of this forest. I know how you got here so I give you 30 seconds to leave before I kill you.” Parfum said “30 seconds that’s not enconch!!” Carris yelled. Parfum started to count. “AHH! Forget lets just run!!” Zea yelled. The four began to run the way they were traveling before the attack by Isobutane. Parfum reached 15 and the roots came out of the ground ready to go at the 30-second mark “AHHHHH!!! RUN FASTER!!!” Lance yelled. Soon the ground began to rumble and squeaking was heard in all directions “What now I thought we had 30 seconds!?” Sidus yelled “You have entered the hectorite’s area now. I have no control over them you will find that they attack in huge masses and are very ravage.” Parfum said “oh yeah and 23.” The hectorites massed onto the path that Sidus and the others were running on. “Whoa spiders with flowers on their heads.” Sidus said still running. “Man Parfum wasn’t joking about the masses thing there must be about a million of them at least!” Zea said Parfum reached the 30 second mark and sent the roots after the group. Carris looked behind her “Umm guys the roots are coming, and they’re coming fast!!” The roots flew over and past the hectorites towards the Zea Lance jumped behind her and cut the root in two with his daggers “Tanks Lance.” “No problem.” Lance said, “Look the forest ends up a head!” Sidus yelled. Just then a hectorite ran ahead of the others and graped Sidus with its front legs “Hey!! No far you cheater!!” Sidus yelled as he cut its head off and freed himself just as a root slammed into the ground were the hectorite was. Sidus rolled a few feet then got up and ran out of the forest along with the rest of his friends. “Whew, that was some of the fastest running I have done in a long time.” Lance said laying on the ground “Yeah ditto that. Lets rest for about five minutes them get to those mountains over there they might be the Descert Mountains Asador was talking about.” Sidus said Chapter 6 The four were walking through a grassy field to what they believed was the Descert Mountains “Are we sure those are the right mountains?” Carris asked “No, but they are the only ones that I have seen.” Sidus said “Hey look is that a town over there?” Lance asked pointing in the distance “Looks like one. I say we go there.” Zea said. They all started walking to the town, soon they came to a road with three different signs, one said Glencoe and pointed northeast, the second was the Descert Mountains it pointed north, and the final one said Hamita and Sands of Flames this sign pointed northwest. “Ok ummm Glencoe must be that place I say we go there.” Zea said pointing to the nearby town. Glencoe ended up being nothing more than a large village with shops and citizens that keep it going. “Hey a pub they’re a good place for info lets go there and see if we can find anything out about Rajie.” Zea said. They walked into the bar and went to different places inside it: Sidus went to a group of people, Lance to the bar table itself, Zea to a large table, and Carris went to the Inn located above the pub. “Who are you?” a man from the large group asked Sidus “Sidus, and I want some information so someone called Rajie.” Sidus answered “Rajie? Everyone knows about him. He lives to the northeast on an island. There are some old ruins and the Thorn Swamp is on there, Rajie himself resides in a castle built into the side of Gem Volcano.” The man said, “You know anything about him?” Sidus asked, “Only that he has been going to a different world to try and get rid of some kid.” “Well thanks.” Sidus said “Hey why you wanna know about Rajie anyway?” “Oh just a fan.” Sidus answered. The Lance, Zea, and Carris got about the same information on Rajie as Sidus did, they meet in one of the inn’s rooms “So everyone knows basic nothing about Rajie expect for where he lives and want he has been doing for the past few days. That doesn’t really help to much.” Zea said, “Well I say we just go the sleep we go to the Descet Mountains tomorrow to meet Asador he might know something.” Lance said “Well hello there see you made it out of the forest.” Asdor said “Ha just barely.” Carris said, “Did Parfum find you guys?” “Oh yeah he found us, and other things.” Sidus answered, “So do you guys wanna know anything about this place?” “How about almost everything? Zea asked, “Ok, as you know this place is called Kentores, and this are the Descert Mountains. There are four main landmasses on Kentores same other smaller ones but none important. To the northeast is a barren wasteland and a swamp.” Asador said “Barren? You mean just rock, why?” Lance asked, “A volcano is up there. Northwest is a snowfield, the ruins of Kentores are there, and just a bit north of here of Goblin Isle.” Asador finished “Well I say we to the volcano and get Rajie, than maybe we can find a way home.” Sidus said “Oh and are the Sands of Flame, and the Cave of Horrors.” “Cave of Horrors? Haha cheerly.” Carris said, “If you need to know more about this place I say we go to Colorina.” Asador said “Where that?” “Just over the mountains.” With that they went off into the mountains. “Ok we are halfway through about three more hours and were out.” Asador said “Hey you guys hear something?” Zea asked. They all stopped, to the right they heard something walking through the trees “Sounds like it has six legs.” Sidus said. The sound was closer now about two feet away. The creature came out of the trees and gazed right at the group “A Displacer Beast.” Asador said, “Looks like a puma with six legs, and tentacles” Carris said laughing, “Laugh now but these things aren’t very nice. They are very fast and not really nice to things that enter their home.” The displacer turned to the inturdenter and raised its tentacles and hissed. Sidus pulled put his sword “This might be a bit hard. Guys get ready looks like we got a fight coming our way.” Sidus informed the others. The others get ready just in time. The Displacer charged Lance first; Lance rolled to the side just in time to be missed by racking tentacles “Man this guy is fast!” Lance yelled, “I’ll take care of that!!” Carris yelled, she formed a blue light in her right hand and threw it toward the displacer; it made a dome over it then disappeared. “What did that do Carris?” Zea asked, “It slowed it down greatly, and this will speed us up!” Carris made a red light in her left hand and threw it toward each person. Everyone’s speed was at least tripled by the spell. Sidus made several fast slashes on the displacer then backed off. Lance being fast as it already is ran right up in the face of the beast and with his daggers hit it about fifty-two times before leaping out. Zea leaped into a tree and fired only what seemed like a whole army of archers could do. Next Carris fired fifteen fireballs before she fell to the ground Sidus ran over to her “Carris what is it?” “I feel tried.” Asador came up beside her “Your low on energy.” “What?” “It is what allows you do use magic.” “So if I ran out I can’t use it any more?” “Only for a little while resting helps greatly.” Asador turned to Sidus “I’ll keep her safe.” “Thanks Asador.” Sidus jumped back in on the fight. The displacer now had its speed back most likely because the slow spell had warn off and a light was emitting from the beast. “Hey I can barely tell where it is now.” Lance said, “That’s because of its displacement power.” Asador answered, “Any attack has a 50% of missing.” “Great, hopefully our luck will hope up like it has so far,” Zea commented. “Lets just attack madly!!! That works a lot” Sidus yelled Sidus jumped right ion front of the displacer but got knocked away right when he got there “Ok, that didn’t work.” Zea shot a carefully aimed shot into the left tentacle causing it to go limp “Hey, Zea try to shoot the other one!” Lance yelled, Zea aimed, shot, and missed “I missed!” Lance charged the beast going for the remaining tentacle, the displacer saw Lance coming and hit him with the tentacle, then bit him. “You ok there Lance?!” Sidus yelled “Just a lot of pain! No big deal here!!” Lance yelled back. The displacer beast looked over toward Carris and started running toward her “Hey no!!! Not fair!!” Sidus yelled, “Where did Asador go???” Zea asked “You don’t think he run out on us do you Sidus?” “I don’t know but we gotta stop that thing before it gets to Carris. Suddenly Asador came down out of the sky talons ready to strike down the displacer, it looked up at the griffin and got as low to the ground as it could, but it was not enough. Asador picked up the displacer and flew high into the sky then started diving toward the ground wings tight against his body. “Asador what are you doing letting go might be a good idea, or just pulling up!!” Carris yelled up to Asador. The displacer was clawing and hitting Asador with its one good tentacle. “Almost there.” Asador thought to himself, about only seven feet from the ground Asador let the displacer go and stopped in midair as the beast fell into the ground killing it. Paragraphs and line breaks please. ^.^ *chuckles* Its a bit over whelming, trying to read it with no line breaks.
