We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

meditation (Sakura)
Stella had folded herself onto a garden seat, her dark skirts arranged neatly. Her hair hung in sliver folds down her back, accented by the silver embroideries on her dress. She had sat there quietly; content to ponder her new life at Manga High. Her pendant shone silver softly as it reflected the stars above, as her own skin began to glow a soft silver colour, as it always did when exposure to the stars.
Stella, a natural recluse, had grown used to crowds, though she still disliked them.
“It is simply a matter of getting to know a few people.” She told herself quietly. “Then I would not feel so alienated.” And though she knew she was no more different then any other student here, she was still uneasy. Her hair was not attracting much attention, for there where other shades much more outlandish then her own white, but she still did not feel completely at her ease. Sakura walked into the garden she loved to look at the stars. It reminded her of home, she was almost 15, she was thinking of a b-day celebration. Tonight she wore a all black vinyl outfit. The long black skirt hugged her legs, till it hit her knees. It then flared out and then hit the ground. Her top was a tight corset, it barely covered breasts. Her tattoo flowed over her skin as if caught in a breeze.
She carried with her a purple sweater. She had her hair combed over on to the right side, her bare head gleamed under the lights. She had smokey yes, and dark lips. She saw a glow and could not resist seeing what it is, she walks that way. Her boots make little noise as she walks. She notices that the glow was actual a girl. She walks up and peers down at the girl, her green eyes are facinated by this occurance.

Stella’s eyes faded to grey, reflecting her shock. She grasped her pendant, and then smiled slowly. “Oh, I’m not sure.” She said softly, taking in the girl who had spoken to her. “Something to do with this, I believe,” she held out her silver star pendant, “it happens whenever the stars are out.” Her eyes slowly returned to their natural cerulean shade as her heart began to slow down.
“I’m Stella, Stella Midnight.” She began. “It’s nice to meet you.”
She glanced around the garden, and back towards the girl before her. “what brings you out tonight, if I may ask?”

The girl was a bit shocked by Sakura's question, but that did not faze her. Her eyes began to turn colors and that really caught Sakura's attention.
“Oh, I’m not sure. Something to do with this, I believe,* she held out her silver star pendant*, it happens whenever the stars are out. I’m Stella, Stella Midnight. It’s nice to meet you. What brings you out tonight, if I may ask?”
Sakura sat down on the back of the bench, her long legs dangle down. She looked at the pendant, her eyes look back to the girl.
" Well Stella, Mistress Midnight. I am Sakura Draven. And i am a creature of the night. I was actually on my way to work. But i can stop and admire the stars with you. If you will let me?"

Stella noticed the attention the newly indroduced Sakura was paying to her eyes. “They reflect my emotions,” Stella explained. “It makes it rather had to lie” she said laughing. “It’s no good saying you’re happy when your own eyes betray you so clearly.”
Stella smiled inwardly. Mistress Midnight had a nice ring to it. It felt powerful and sure, what she wanted to be.
She moved to side to provide more room on the seat. “Stay if you wish too, a fellow star gazer is always welcome. I too enjoy the night. To sit under the stars much be one of lifes greatest pleasures. ” Stella shook herself out of her reverie, and noticed the tattoo adorning her companion. “Does that have a meaning to you?” she asked, pointing at it.

Sakura looked down at her arms, the tattoo changed as she thought about it. It was still an intricate tribal design the color of lilacs, she smiled.
“ Well its kind of like your eyes. No one really knows it all but as it looks now this means I am calm. When I start to get agitated it moves, she thought about Jun and it began to move like a snake. *. As I get madder it moves faster, Then when I am happy it changes into cherry blossoms. I am actually in a really good mood tonight. I have found so many new people. “
She looks back up to the stars, she swings her legs to settle on to the bench next to the new girl. She lets her mood slip back into a happy state, her cherry blossom’s flow across her skin. She turns to look at her new friend, her legs cross under the shiny material.
“ So my dear Mistress Midnight, tell me how old are you? And what do you like to do for fun?”

Stella lent back and absentmindedly ran a hand through her hair. “I feel like a baby here,” she confessed. “Everyone seems so world wise,” she turned her eyes towards Sakura again. “I’m turning 16 soon, but so many people seem so much older then me.” A rueful smile tugged Stella’s lips. “It didn’t help that my uncle kept me inside so much.”
She stretched her arms out behind her and lent back. “As for fun, I don’t know. I know I can not spend my entire time here staring at stars, and I don’t know this place very well.” She crossed and uncrossed her legs, feeling the material brush her legs, painfully aware how childish her own dress appeared next to Sakura's outfit.

Stella sighed as daedelus ran off. "i do apologise for the interuption." she wached him leave. "So, as i was asking, what can you do for fun here, exept staring at the sky?" she raised her eyebrows and gave a small smile

Sakura laughed as the girl seemed to be happy with her nickname.

She tilts her head and listens to the girl, her face was very animated.
" No your not a baby, i am actually not even 15 yet, one f the things about my strange gifts i look older. Can iI ask why your uncle kept you inside?"
She leaned foreward and put her hand on her knee.
“As for fun, I don’t know. I know I can not spend my entire time here staring at stars, and I don’t know this place very well. What is there to do here?”
She looked up at the stars and closed her eyes letting the cool night air brush her face.
" Wll dear one, i mostly go to school, work and try to stay out of trouble. I can take you to a few resturants, and the Niagra falls are itn the town. But i could take you to work with me, but you'll have to promise to keep the location secret."
As she got ready to tel her waht she did, a boy came up and began speaking to Stella. She gave him a brisk answer and he moved on.
" No worries, maybe you would like to grab a late night snack with me?"

Stella glanced back at Sakura, her eyes glowing with gratitude. She felt guilty about being so short with Daedelus, for she knew he was having trouble making friends. Was I too rude? she wondered.

"A past boyfriend? What was his name?" Stella asked, hoping her newly acquired friend would not mind her inquiring.
“can I ask why your uncle kept me inside?”
“Mark took me in when my parents disappeared. He always told me it was unsafe for girls to go outside into the street unescorted, and that there where unsavoury types about that would take advantage of me. Or some scientists who would experiment on me if they found out I glow.” Stella shrugged, remembering his concern. “I think he meant well,” she mused. “It just means I have no practise in talking to people my own age!” Stella laughed quietly, her hair almost seeming to float in the slight breeze. “I get very anxious meeting new people,” she confessed, “but I try to act at ease. It’s quite arduous actually.” Stella laughed.
“A waterfall?” Stella exclaimed softly after Sakura’s last comment. “How beautiful. Is there nothing they do not have here?” she finished with a small laugh. “A secret job? How exciting!” She met Sakura’s green eyes with her own blue ones. “Thank you for your kind offers. I would love to be privy to your secret job, and I would be thrilled to ‘grab a snack’” Stella smiled contentedly, thanking the stars for her new friend. Sakura nodded she knew what it was like to have someone like that in her family.
" My brother is almost as bad as your uncle. He sent me here to keep me out of a gang, but in doing so gave me the oiwers I now have. He thought he could protect me but in the end ...* she shrugs* What they do for us.....crazy huh. I think your glow is kind of cool, it drew me to you. "

She looked down to the area past her feet, she nodded.
" Yeah they have lots of things here. And its not really a secret. More like illegal. I am a .....dancer. At a local club, and its only so I can feel free. Being at school i feel constricted. We can go to this local place that serves hot cocoa and cookies. if thats okay with you."
SHe stands and streches, she reaches out her hand to Stella.

Stella started as Sakura named the man she was so set against, her eyes paling slightly.
“I have met Jun-Bo,” she said. “From my interactions with him, he seems a very pleasant boy.” She shook her head and uncrossed her legs, only to cross them again. “But I do not doubt you have good and justified reasons for your feelings. Tell me if you wish, I will not be offended if you chose to keep silent.” Stella shrugged her glowing shoulders and smiled.
“An interesting development. I have met but three people, one who is as new as I, two who seem to know each other very well, if not like each other. It is, if not a small world, small school grounds!” Stella smiled again, staring out into the night sky and watching the stars she had allocated her parents. She did not wish to lose any of the new friends she had made.
“You are a dancer?” Stella looked at Sakura in wonder. “That is amazing! What style of dance?” her eyes met Sakura’s bright green ones as she glanced at her friend, guessing by Sakura’s tone she was not referring to ballet. Stella smiled brightly, trying to convey that anything Sakura chose to do for a living was ok by her. “I think every kind of dance requires much skill. Where do you perform? May I watch some time?”
Stella grasped Sakura’s hand with her own glowing one, rising to her feet. “An excellent proposal, Madam Sakura!” she said, smiling as brightly as the stars. "Lead, and i will follow." Edited by: belovedstranger1ruby at: 11/13/06 4:07 am

She nodded at Stella's words, she knew that Jun Bo was a good man. But he had many things he kept hidden, things that made him a time bomb. She knew first hand he was a good guy but with a very bad past.
" You could say he and I had fun times, but he did something that protected me but killed me just the same. We are still friends but ....I still get a bit jealous."
She shrugged her face blank as she thought about the past. She turned and tilted her head and watched her new friends glow. Her next statement kind of shocked Sakura.
“You are a dancer? That is amazing! What style of dance? I think every kind of dance requires much skill. Where do you perform? May I watch some time?”
She laughs the girls face was priceless, she had already guessed her style. Stella was very btight, she would make an interesting friend.
" I am an exotic dancer, and i do most other types. I also write songs for bands, I was in one for a bit but then we lost our lead singer and ......* she spread her hands out*, If you would like to come to the club I am sure I can arrange soemthing. I am actually on my way thier later tonight. You would have to be around lecerous men. Maybe we could disguise you."
A gleam came to Sakura's green eyes, she had many outfits and makeing her into a young man would be easy. She felt the young woman's soft hand in her own. The glow was absolutly wonderful, she wondered if she could do the same effect with glow paint.
“An excellent proposal, Madam Sakura! Lead, and i will follow."
She smiled and looked down at the girl, her green eyes were filled with warmth.
" Mistress MIdnight we are in for a real adventure. Are you ready?"

“A band too?” Stella exclaimed, slightly in awe of this other girl who was clearly very worldly. “You do not cease to impress me.” she laughed lightly, privately admiring Sakura’s eyes. They looked like those green precious stones she had seen once. “I feel quite ignorant.”
Stella smiled brightly when Sakura mentioned a disguise.
“How thrilling, This is so exciting! What do you have in mind?”
Stella winced; she sounded like she was a 6 year old, at a birthday party, but she shook the feeling off. She doubted Sakura would mind if she was a little childish about disguises.
The fact that Sakura was in fact younger then Stella did not stop the feeling she was being taken under Sakura’s cherry blossomed wing. This also dismissed her slight unease at being among lusty men, who sounded like the exact kind Mark was talking about when he said she couldn’t go out.
Stella returned Sakura’s smile, and lightly squeezed her hand. “As ready as I will ever be,”
