nightshade,infiltrator,shadowblade?
I am having trouble deciding which one of these I want to play to be my assassin. Can any one give me a run down on each and where i should put my spec points at certain lvls? Kind of leaning toward the nightshade but they appear all the same to me...please enlighten me. Thanks for the help.

Best advice I can offer is look at the bigger picture. What realm do you like the most? What realm in general appeals more to you? Are there other classes that you have an interest in? If so, what realm?
All 3 assassin classes have thier pros and cons. I think you would get more mileage out of your assassin by choosing what Realm you like the most.

That is true, but you also need to look at the overal style of play. What are you looking for? Only the nightshade has any form of magic attacks. No one can really answer which is "the best" because the player has a whole lot to do with the result. Well, that and the number of allies versus enemies you have. Heh. Hard to kill the underpopulated realm who does't go out and Rvr.

Midgard Assasin "The Melee Assasin" ,
Less trained in poisons, best melee, performs better in large fightswhere you dont have time to or have run out of Poisoned Weps.
------------------------
Albion Assassin "Both Worlds"
Not as strong melee as Midgard but better than Hibernia. Thrust gives tiy the deadly Dragonfang move if you take it all the way to Skill-50. 2.5 Train Points per level vs. 2.2 Midgard & Hibernia means the best rounded of the three
-------------------------
Hibernia Assassin "Lucky Charm Killers"
These may be the gimpiest of the meleers but they have Magical Attacks neither of the others have as well as RA "Viper" which makes their Envenom deadly.
-------------------------
The best advice is already above.
Be the Class you feel like in the Realm you feel like.
Cause all are very viable when played right, and all play very differently.

Midguard Melee Assasin
Since the La Nerf You may want to consider only critblade and 5 spec. Thes SZ spec just received a 40% nerf to LA.

Re: Midguard Melee Assasin
I'd stay away from Shadowblades for now. Atleast until the stabilize. This Nerf rocked them harder than any previous nerf.
This is the first nerf I've seen where shadowblades just out right /canceled. Most of the time they either adapted, or they faded away.

Hmm I had an Sb before the nerf...omfg awsome..wipe out entire groups with a SB duo. They needed a nerf bad. Maybe they got overnerfed I dunno. Of course 9/10 SBs I knew were botted so that didn't help. I then rolled an Infiltrator. Very awsome class. They Crit great and can melee decent..not like a Shadowzerker but still really great. With the Infs Sbs are easy kills as are SOME nightshades...However one you reach rr5 as a NS you get AP and wow your a beast. If I beat a rr5+ NS is cause I was 1) botted and 2) he bought his toon on ebay lol. I think NS have the best sneak potential after rr5 out of all the stealth classes. Then again I quit my SB at rr4 when the nerf hit me and my Inf is only rr3 so I really don't know. Just something to think about.
Find teh realm you think is cool and then look into the RAs you can get. Nightshades looks gimp :P SBs look awsome and Infs look cool unless you pick a Brit lol
