stinking halfling mask
I admit I'm obsessed. I've been camping that rotten mask in rotten chardok since December 2002 but have spent the entire month of April (and some of March) down killing the rotten placeholder and getting rotten daggers capes and omg rings galore (free overseer signet rings on Tarew Marr hail me).
Did it secretly stop dropping and no one told me? Or do I have REALLY BAD LUCK.
In perspective: only been killing an average of mobs every half hour. Have gotten 8 aas and 12% regular xp.

This is a very long camp, no way around that.
The overseer spawns about 1/3 of the time. He has about a 1% chance of dropping the mask, which gives an average camp time of about 100 hours.
A few bards have gone crazy camping this, one fellow put in over 1000 hours before he got it. The good news is that the capes sell pretty well, and are decent tribute if you want to go that route (I think around 17k tribute per cape).

Re: stinking halfling mask I am at that camp now also. Except I do it in small chunks the play my druid to raid so I am not perpetually running from PoK to Chardok.
Kill a couple, relog and go raid, relog and kill a couple then bed.
Few more kills then I'll surface for a while and get some exp.

I'm elemental flagged, but ornate and tier 3 equipt'd (see magelo in sig), I'm 100+ AA, I have a pocket cleric sitting at zone in.
5 scarreds, 1 veteren and 3 escapes used. I haven't died yet.
With self buff and Temperance I'm running about 5300hp and it's a crapshoot. I am using Paralyze II (was using III but ran out of Heartsting) and I can end at 20 percent health one fight and 80 percent another.
What I have found is working ok for me, at zone in I kill yard trash while waiting for my Primal to proc. As soon as it procs I apply poison, top off my health and add a low level magician DS from my clerics Vambraces of Fennin Ro (that and 8th coldain ring = 17 dam) and beat feet down to the PH before DS fades.
I open up with Ass Strike, then get in front and push him to the wall (so he won't flee) and go Duelist then Counterattack and cross my fingers.
I then go back to zone in, get healed, clear yard trash while PL'ing my 51 cleric until all my discs have refreshed. Then start all over again.
I don't want to DA run the cleric down just yet because what I am doing is working for me. Plus he is bound outside and has a Soulstone so he is flying out my exports (plat loot) and bringing me in imports (food/water/poison). DA'ing him down every time would be a pain in the rump.

I lost track long ago unfortunately, ran out of space on my paper. Didn't help that my slash marks got bigger and angrier with every placeholder. Anyone know if a parser can break that sort of information down?

I play on tarew marr also. I been camping this mask for the last week now. I only get to spend about 2 hours each day doing it. I had lots of overseers, but getting ring, and dagger, and spells not even a cape yet . I hope it drops soon, got better things to do than go crazy waiting for this thing to drop. Gratz on your mask
