teens and acting?
This sight i have come to realize is really good to find casting calls.... if your and adult... i know that there are acting jobs for teens out there but i don't seem to see them here. i would like to get an acting job and i feel i have no time to loose and i dont want to loose my chance like last fall (2002) i was looking online for a casting call and i saw an add for peter pan, they needed a 12 -13 year old girl to play wendy and they were pretty desperate, she had to have brown or red wavy hair and be about 5ft. tall and about 100 to 110 pounds.. thats me to the exsact.. well it was 1 year ago but any way i lost the web page so i couldnt go back but all i remembered was something about the spring so i figured it was an old ad and i was late. and besides the filming was in Australia and i wasnt ready for that yet... well when spring came nothing happend so i figured they failed to find the gurl and they gave up or something... well the other day i saw an add for a really cool looking movie with REALLY good special effects (as well as i could see) called "peter pan" i knew then i missed my chance and i dont want that to happen again... ill never know what would have happend if i had tried out for that part but i dont want to have to wonder any more.
we need to get some more teen casting calls in here so me and the rest of the worlds teens can make there dream come true... so i speak for all when i say... PUT SOME TEEN CALLS UP HERE!!!!!

i want to be an actress
Hi, I am 12 years old and my dream is to become an actress. I would like to have my own comedy television show, or play in movie. My name is Asia Duwell. hey my names hannah i'm almost 15 years old(in one week) i have been acting since before i could talk i love it so much.
i'm about 5'61/2 light brown hair dark blue eyes. i have done alot of theater and i'm ready for the movies. @ everyone!!
I think most ya'll teenagers should enjoy your life first, growing up can be difficult. First you should find out who you are and if this is really what you want. It's not just money and meeting other celebritys. It's hard work, no time for yourself and you can fall very easily.
I'm not trying to tell ya, to not do it. Just trying to tell you to think about the adventages and disadventages. I wanted to be a singer/dancer/actress since I was 10/11 and my first little theatre play I had with 10, since then I knew what I want. Young age, but it's still like that, and I'm going to be 20 this year. But I'm happy that nothing really worked out when I was a teenager, cuz I had to grow as person and get an own identity.
My advice: go and have some acting lessons first.
Hope I don't sound like someone who wants you to stop. That's not the way I wanted to sound, it just said easily to say that you want become an actress and that someone should reply to you. You have to get up your @$$ and start something on your own and not wait till someone comes to you, cuz then you can wait a lifetime!
14 year old Kung Fu star?
Hey i'm 14 years old and i'd really like to act as well. I don't see many availble roles for young teens but I really would like to get into acting on commercials, Movies, and shows. I'd especially would go for an action role since I practice Martial Arts and I have a love for action. My dream is to become a big Asian Action star like Kelly Hu, Lucy Liu, Jackie chan, etc. I may be small but that won't stop me from trying to succeed in the acting media. I'm currently 5" in inches and about 106 pounds. I'm asian with short hair and have naturaly 2 different eye colors (Right brown, Left Yellowish brown). Even though i have only acted in school plays i'm sure you won't be disapointed if you choose me to be in a commercial, show, or movie although I can only act within San Francisco.
