Kain had been sitting down in a restaurent nearby, looking outside, when he had seen the crests and the strange thing dissapear with them. He stood up slowly, leaving the money on the table for the bill, and walked outside, over to Maxie. she seemed familiar....had he seen her before?

"Are you alright?"

his eyes were looking at the spot the thing had vanished

Mystic Bluberri Sketchbook Shinigami Posts: 139 (7/26/03 2:09 pm) Reply	the voice has come to carry me away ooc:this was a planned one, but new peeps are welcome. first posts of mine are always extremely detailed. lots ter read, but it should pay off, eh? i will try to tune in and update this as much as possibloo. here we go. ic: setting: a warm, sunny, beautiful day near Highton View Terrace, where Maxie's new apartment is located Maxie skips down the street. She had never felt better. She had just come from the department store, where she had been spending her hard-earned money on new clothes and a backpack. She was now carrying Iromon in that backpack, who was, as usual, not having a good time at all. Maxie: "It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" a passerby on the street nods agreeingly, but she had been talking to her backpack Iromon: muffled "It would be beautiful, yes it would, if only i could breathe." Maxie: "Oh, shut it you, we're almost home. You know, if you could only transform into Kerimon, you'd have flown up there a long time ago." Iromon: "Hey, you're acting like it's MY fault your crest was lost!" Maxie: looks up at the cloudless blue sky "No petty argument is going to spoil my wonderful day. Now be quiet or someone will hear you." They continue on in silence for a while, during which a storm is gathering across the street. A brainstorm, that is. Nitsi: is walking the opposite way, up the street towards Maxie and friend, holding her crest of Secrets and Maxie's long-lost crest of Optimism in her hand "Hmmmmm, hmmm." ((ooc: this is a habit she has, to pace and 'hmm' while thinking. )) "Hmmmm. Shut up, you stupid snail." Snailmon: he had been panting inside Nitsi's huge, stifling leather bag. "Thirsty..." Nitsi: "I don't carry water with me everywhere I go, dung-brain. Hmmm, hmm." they go on for a bit, until without knowing it, Maxie and Nitsi are across the street from one another. "Hmm, hmm, hmmm. Oops!" Nitsi had tripped, quite ungracefully, over a crack in the sidewalk. The two crests both sprang from her hand as though drawn by a magnet. From inside Maxie's backpack, Iromon's eyes suddenly glow. She hoists herself halfway out of the pack to swipe at Maxie's digivice, hanging from her belt. Maxie: "Oy! Iromon! What're you--" she stops as she sees the eyes glowing, and the digivice glowing as well Meanwhile, the two digivices lay unattended, bouncing into the middle of the empty street. A short creature scuttles up from somewhere, a black cloth draped over it. It shoots an arm out, grabs both the crests, and holds them up into the air, as if in triumph. A digital gate opens horizontally, above the creature, and vaccuums it upwards, and with a flash it dissappears into thin air, with the crests. throw away your television. it's a rerun.

"you might be right...you seem familiar. i guess its been a while."
Mystic Bluberri Sketchbook Shinigami Posts: 141 (8/4/03 11:17 am) Reply	Re: the voice has come to carry me away Nitsi stood up. across the street she could see two people talking, one hidden from view by a lamp post(maxie) and some suspicious looking guy(kain.) then she realized that the crests she had been holding were gone nitsi: thinking "It was probably him..." she wanderingly crossed the now empty street, not really seeming to be heading towards kain, while trying, once every few seconds, to see if he was holding her crests. snailmon, meanwhile, was still in the bag she was carrying, a bit dazed from falling throw away your television. it's a rerun.
